We loved Jason's place! It has everything you need and very comfortable for our family of four. The location is great and the little beach steps away from the unit is perfect. We were there during the fire in Lahaina and were so sad to have to leave earlier. Communication with Jason was great and he was always super helpful during this stressful time. We'll definitely come back on our next trip to Maui.

My husband and I decided to island hop from Oahu to Maui. I found this gem on the beach and I had to book it right away. It was perfect! The property is literally feet from the ocean with it's own beach!! It was absolutely perfect. The condo is not only super close to the beach but also walking distance to stores and other restaurants.
The owners were easily accessible via phone and text which made check in and check out process easy breazy! I would definitely book this condo again!

Visited this gem and I wish we could have stayed longer. We left our resort in Kaanapali and made a stop here for our last night in Maui. It was perfect for our little family of four. The place had all the necessary amenities and then some. Jason and Lilly were gracious hosts and communication was excellent (so important especially when traveling). The place was clean and comfortable, and the private beach is just about 20 yards from the back patio. Great place to watch the sunset, and I can l imagine how amazing it would be during whale season.

The view is amazing. No a/c but the ocean breeze made it manageable with fans. Communication with the host was awesome. They accomodated our specific needs. Kitchen has recently been remodeled and is beautiful.

We have stayed on this property before but first time in this condo and it did not disappoint. I really do feel like this is a small piece of heaven. The property only has 12 condos and you have a private sandy beach. We loved that itās on the bottom floor which made it easy just to walk to and from the beach. The condo itself was great. There is no AC but the evenings cool down and when you open the windows itās quite comfortable and a chance to hear the waves crashing. The kitchen is fully stocked with coffee maker, nice blender, toaster, etc. we cooked quite a bit and felt I had everything needed to cook, everything seems to be well thought out! Provided plenty of towels, snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler. 10/10 we will be looking to stay here again on our next Maui trip. Thank you Jason.

Had a phenomenal experience stying at the Pikake property. The owner was awesome to work with and very communicative. The unit was close to great restaurants, beaches, coffee place, etc. It is literally steps to your own private beach. We saw turtles multiple days right at the property and beach area. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Cons:
1. Cleanliness - It was obvious that surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom were not thoroughly cleaned. We usually bring wipes with us to disinfect food prep surfaces and were surprised. We found some kitchen supplies (can opener, utensils etc) with food still caked on and most supplies just felt āstickyā. There were also visible stains on walls, door frames and toilet, and visible layer of dust on all glass window shutters. It seemed like a cleaner was there for 5 minutes just to change out linens and made everything look presentable but didnāt do any cleaning.
2. Beach equipments - the beach chairs were great to have, but the umbrella and masks was broken. We ended up getting our own umbrella and masks and left them with the unit since we couldnāt pack them. It wouldāve been great if we didnāt have to find out they were broken after going through searching for parking and setting up at the beach.
3. Noise - this is a ground floor unit and the bedroom is located in the front of the property facing the parking lot. Noise was definitely a problem. There were thoughtful neighbors that we clearly felt they were trying to be mindful, but there were neighbors that thought itās ok to let their kids run around by themselves outside our bedroom, and up and down the stairs, which shares a wall with the bedroom, at 5am (they were jet-lagged). Some neighbors just simply didnāt know we were right there and would have their private phone conversations that we clearly didnāt want to listen to at 11pm.
Pros:
1. Great location - short walk or drive to nearby beaches, restaurants, park and downtown Lahaina.
2. The beach is in your backyard - it was really nice to be this close for a quick dip in the ocean, especially with kids. We were able to get in and out of the water multiple times throughout the day without leaving our āhomeā.
3. Check-in was super easy - Host provided clear instructions on check-in and gave recommendations on restaurants and things to do etc. I did speak with the host about our concern on cleanliness and he responded promptly and mentioned he will be making some changes after we leave. The overall experience with the host was good and he was open to feedback.

This place was perfect! Location was wonderful! Walked to badass coffee and fruit market everyday. Love using the snorkel sets and was able to even see a see turtle. Place was stocked with everything you could ever need! We were worried about the no AC but the owner has fans and shades that really cooled off the place. Will Definitely be back !!

Just like in pictures show place is very clean, kitchen is well stocked, location is close to grocery store. Beach is steps away from patio, view is exceptional. My kids enjoyed beach a lot, a large turtle swam by him once. My original reservation needed change, Jason & Lilly were easy to work with. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

The ocean is 15 feet from the back door - perfect! Slaughterhouse Beach is our favorite m, and is a tiny drive to the north - snorkeling, turtles, perfect. Groceries are close, Bad Ass Coffee is a four minute walkā¦ what more could a person want? Weāll definitely be back.

Great and communicative owner - exceptional! Really cute place, right on the sand - walk out the back door and enjoy the ocean. Good family snorkling - fish and turtles will be swimming with you! The one drawback was no air conditioning, so we personally would perfer winter months. But still a great little vacation spot. Your kids will ooo and ahh when they walk in and see the water right there! Thanks for an enjoyable stay!

We loved our stay here! Just steps from the ocean waves! We saw so many turtles and even a pod of dolphins! The snorkeling right out front was awesome! We will definitely be back!! Just a note: there is no a/c, as other reviews have stated, but we were comfortable with the windows open. Just wonderful!!

Jason & Lillyās condo is steps from the beach so we were able to snorkel with turtles. We had front row seats to beautiful sunset & rainbows. We would certainly come back!

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here. Jason communicated with us the whole time to make sure we were comfortable and the unit is great. Everyone in the building was friendly and they had binoculars in the apartment which was great because we could watch the wales and dolphins that swam by in the evenings and mornings. We were only looking for a one night stay and there was one night available at the Pikake. Can't tell you what a relief it was to arrive and be completely amazed by this place. It is literally steps to the ocean. the place is clean, stylish, and comfortable. Bonus, it came with beach chairs, snorkel gear, beach towels and boogie boards! Jason was very communicative and made it so easy for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night and early morning stay. The last hour before leaving a whale breached right in front of us while we were eating breakfast on the patio. What an absolute treat to stay here!

What a beautiful spot! The accommodations provided all essentials plus some! The binoculars, snorkel gear and boogie boards were a great bonus. I loved being separated from the hustle and bustle of the tourists in other resorts and Lahaina but close enough to visit. And nothing beats your own beach with whales popping up to greet you and turtles swimming around in the AM. Sunsets were a beautiful way to wrap up a peaceful stay.

We really wanted somewhere that felt like home and not a generic condo. This fit the bill. There were groceries, a couple of convenience stores and food trucks in walking distance. The building attracts people who want to enjoy the sunset and not party which was great for enjoying the sunsets! But the best part was having the lanai right next to the water. It was like having a private beach. We left the windows open so we could hear the waves all night. Just heaven.

Loved the on the beach location. Entry to ocean is between rock outcrops so not ideal for youngsters. Air conditioning would give this location a higher rating.

I would come back to this unit. It was so nicely decorated and clean. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated. The master bedroom was comfortable and 2 teenagers shared the couch pullout and they said that it was ok for a sofa bed. Jason is very responsive to text and communication was easy. We were provided everything we needed to enjoy the beach and a very comfortable stay.

I booked a stay for my 70 year old Aunt & Uncle and all I can say is the owner Jason & Lily were very accommodating. They made sure my family was very comfortable & safe. Stayed in communication with me to make sure I knew what was going on. The Condo was beautiful & very clean and in the perfect spot!
