From booking to departure, Deena made this entire process seamless. She was quick to respond to inquiries, always friendly, plus she was very flexible in our changing plans.
The unit itself is clean, updated (furniture and fixtures) and the kitchen is very well stocked with all the essentials and then some! You will find everything you need to cook, blend, toast and save.
There are games, sun chairs/umbrella and sand toys and more.
The unit location is quiet and you have an amazing view of the beach. Very short walk to beach. It's also very close to multiple places to eat and shop.
We had an amazing time and will definitely go back again!

What an incredible trip!
We had originally booked this resort as the second half of our honeymoon. For our first part of our honeymoon, we had planned on staying in west Maui and were unable to travel. We contacted Deena, the host of this property, and she was incredibly helpful in trying to adjust our booking, and suggesting places to stay in Kauai to help with our last minute travel plan changes. She also suggested dozens of activities and restaurants that we tried and each one was awesome!
We ended up booking Koloa Landing resort down the road for the first half and here at Kiahuna Plantation for the second half and this was by far our favorite of the 2 despite being a bit cheaper than the Koloa resort. The Condo has a great view of the ocean, a full kitchen with all the appliances you would need, beach gear, is right on the beach, and is within walking distance of a few great restaurants.
We had such a great time here and would definitely stay here again.

This is a great property on the south shore of Kauai. The condo was clean, comfortable and in a wonderful location. It includes everything you could need for a great stay. Deena even goes above and beyond with small details such as food/activity recommendations. The property is part of a resort which includes beach towels, beach access, and a facility with a gym & tennis courts. The view from the balcony is beautiful. I could not recommend this condo enough, and we would certainly stay here again.

Clean, bright, good WiFi, fabulous view across the lawn to the ocean. The resort itself is lovely. The owner of the condo responded immediately when I was booking to confirm, as well as they VRBO main site. She also emailed me that my condo was available earlier that day as they previous renters had left earlier, so I enjoyed a full afternoon instead of the 3:00 p.m. checkin. I would reserve this unit specifically again.

We have been vacationing at Kiahuna for many years and we've rented many condos during that time. Although past condos have been pleasant, we have never found one where we would want to repeat our stay, until now. This property has by far, been the best! Perfect view, beautiful condo remodel, all the amenities at your disposal, and wonderful hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for a fantastic vacation home away from home!!!

We had a wonderful 5 night stay in this spacious, clean and well equipped appartement. Nice view over the sea. Short walking distance to Poipu beach with its turtles and seals. We loved the beach equipment provided and we’ll never forget the gift card from the owner for Little Fish coffee!

This is the nicest and best-located unit I have shard in at Kiahuna Plantation. It is just perfect. It seemed like it was just totally remodeled by someone with excellent taste. Lots of great beach equipment, snorkel gear, coolers umbrellas for outside, inside modern ceiling fans in every room to keep you comfortable.

We enjoyed the nice view of the ocean from both the lanai and the living room. The ocean breezes were wonderful and with all the windows in the condo we didn't need to use the A/C. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, including both a drip coffee maker and a Nespresso machine. We also made frequent use of the beach chairs that were available. The location is great to walk to restaurants and stores. It is a short drive to get to many places for sightseeing and activities. The owners are very helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

What a comfortable, updated condo! Just loved the ocean view, and all the louvered windows that let in the ocean breeze. Our fifth visit and stay at Kiahuna Plantation. This is the best view and unit we've stayed in. KP's location in the best on the island. Our partial ocean view was more like ocean view. Great unit, with great amenities and extras (snorkel gear, boogie boards, chairs, etc). Owner was proactive in communicating and very quick to respond to our emails.

This unit gave us the best ocean view with gorgeous sunsets. Inside the unit, the subtle and harmonious decor was relaxing. Having access to the Athletic Club let us maintain workouts; walking the beach paths and Greenbelt areas were ideal. We will definitely return, but at a different time of year, hoping to see whales.

This is a beautiful property right where you need to be on Kauai. . We were searching for a place where we could bring our toddler son for a few days and this property fulfilled our needs and then some . The unit is fully remodeled with beautiful new floors with a new kitchen and furniture . It is right on the central green of the complex leading out to the ocean with a great view from the second floor balcony . Location is perfect for exploring Kauai for all its beauty .
The owners are amazing and set you up with ideas of planning your outings to great places for dining and even where to go for a good cup of coffee.
Check in is a breeze and the unit is kept super clean .
I can’t wait to return and I hope others have the amazing experience we did !

Great property. Wonderful view of the ocean. However be aware that the overhang on the deck is limited and sun comes streaming in after 11:00am. It is extremely hot until almost sundown at 6:00pm. The A/C is essential. We were visiting in November so this might not be a problem during other times of the year.

Our one bedroom was spacious, beautifully updated and decorative. The direct ocean view and the sound of the waves was amazing. It’s a 2 minute stroll to the sandy beach. My mom and I stayed in Unit #35 for 8 nights in early June. I’ve been fortunate to stay at Kiahuna Plantation several times before, however this was my mom’s first trip to Hawaii, and she was blown away by the condo and it’s AMAZING view!! If you haven’t stayed at Kiahuna before, being near the expansive lawn area is a must! The location and proximity to the beach can’t be beat!
The condo itself has been tastefully remodeled and fully stocked with all the essentials, and then some! We especially loved the beach chairs and small cooler! We used the AC only once upon arrival, and after that we simply left the shutters open and let the breeze do it’s thing…a major plus of an end unit is the added airflow. Another nice amenity worth mentioning is the super comfy bed.
The owner, Deena, is a wonderful host who communicated with us several times prior to our arrival, and provided lots of information beforehand. Check-in and check-out were both very smooth. All in all, we highly recommend this unit, and would love to stay in it again!

This was our second stay at this lovely location, but our first in this unit, which surpassed all of our expectations. This was an upstairs corner unit with a stunning ocean view, and the pictures, although very appealing, don’t entirely do it justice. The furnishing and decor are outstanding, as can be seen, but what isn’t visible in the photos is the owner’s attention to detail. Every imaginable need or desire was anticipated and met, from the well stocked kitchen and bath to the extraordinarily comfortable bed.
More important even than these elements was the owner’s extra touches, including a very complete listing of personally selected highlights in the area, which she sent to us prior to our visit, allowing us to plan ahead with reservations.
We’ve spent 25 years visiting the island and have enjoyed our many stays in wonderful accommodations, but this topped them all. We’re looking forward to repeated returns to this special spot in Paradise.

This condo has been beautifully renovated in the past year and is now lovely and extremely functional. The kitchen countertops are granite and huge, compared to other units in the complex. The kitchen contains everything needed (and more) to create meals. The decor has an ocean theme and everything from the colors, rug pattern, lamps and tiles in the bathroom reflect this. If you can find an opening in the reservation calendar, take it! You won't be sorry!

It was wonderful to have had an experience that you can truly rave about, and this condo suits the bill. First of all I'd like to thank our host Ms Deena Arnold. Your generosity, attention to detail and recent renovation of the property shows through in every aspect of the property. Simply splendid, perhaps the best property on the grounds. We appreciated the Kama'aina attention from the staff, friendly and accommodating. To say the view was great is an understatement, so you'll just have to check this place out to get the experience. We would definately return in the future.

We first came to Kiahuna almost 40 years ago, when our kids were young. Now we are back with their kids.
It is wonderful to see how Kiahuna has retained its magic. The units we stayed in were newly renovated and are clean, comfortable and first class in every way.
The grounds are spectacular.
We are returning in March and hope to keep coming back.

My spouse and I are regulars at Kiahuna Plantation and have been in no less than 12 units, so I like to think I have a good idea of the range of condos. This condo is definitely one of the best on the whole property. Even the staff say it's one of the best overall and they were very complimentary of the care the owner takes of it.
My priority in choosing a condo is location; I like being along the main lawn area and facing the ocean for the great view and quick access to the beach. To find a condo with this combination of location and value (bang for your buck) is exceptional and a rare find.
Additionally, what makes this condo a top choice is that it was very recently remodeled, everything is in great shape, it’s well equipped (both kitchen and beach equipment), and it has modern furnishings. This was the first time I was in a condo with air conditioning and gosh was it nice to have!
This is now our first choice when it comes to condos at Kiahuna.

This place was newly renovated and very clean. Check-in was very easy. It made our stay in Poipu very comfortable. Were able to easily walk to restaurants nearby. This unit has it all – ocean view, great location within the resort, and a steady breeze (we didn't have to run the A/C). It is tastefully renovated and well stocked (lots of small appliances, utensils, food containers, etc.). Checkin with the resort was very easy and we always found a parking spot close to the building.
The unit has a cooler, beach umbrella, chairs, boogie boards and snorkel gear. The little beach hut on the lawn has beach towels and chairs you can check out each day free of charge. The Poipu Athletic Club across the road is wonderful. They give you pool towels and have a great little restaurant with live music.
Deena was so hospitable and quick with all communication. She gave us a lot of useful information about what to see/do in the area, restaurant recommendations, etc. She made our vacation experience so pleasant and easy.
We enjoyed our stay so much and can't wait to come back!

My wife, mother (70), and 15month child spent 2 weeks at this property in June 2021. Great communication leading up to our stay from the owner Deena. Smooth check in/check out process (outrigger management). The unit was newly remodeled which was great. The air conditioning was ESSENTIAL due to overheating child and sleeping at night in bedroom. She has 2 large portable fans which were great as well to help cool off at night. The kitchen was well stocked: coffee pot, French press, snap-ware containers for food storage, utensils, pots/pans. Had bogey boards, beach umbrella, snorkel stuff. Deena’s attention to detail was great. We rented a pack-N-play for $25/stay from outrigger… it did require us to buy some mats from Costco for baby to sleep on as it did not have the correct padding (not fault of property owner as it was rented from Outrigger). The unit has a beautiful view on patio of ocean and green lawn space. Easy parking and unloading to unit. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely book again through Deena and her unit at the Kiahuna Plantation. Side note: Kauai is still very much coming back from covid and many businesses are still not operating and/or operating with limited resources. Highly recommend booking any activities 45-60 days in advance. For example: we attempted dinner at the Tidepools in Hyatt hotel… and the earliest opening was over 2 months out (mid August). We also wanted to hike the Kalalau Trail… but that now requires passes which are extremely limited and sold 30 days in advance (sold out at midnight each night). I would expect a lot of these issues become resolved in the next 6 months, but Covid has changed a lot of otherwise casual things on the island.

We are so grateful for Deena's gracious hospitality. She warmly welcomed us to her recently purchased and renovated unit. She has honestly looked after every detail! This is an excellent location within Kiahuna Plantation property. We loved the picture perfect view from the condo. We enjoyed the privacy of the entry and the patio of this second floor end unit in a building with just 6 units total. The winds blowing through the condo kept us comfortable all day and we didn't need the A/C! The condo is light and spacious and we look forward to our next stay with Deena.
