A real beach “ bungalow.” Terrific beach, great swimming (for swimmers), good waves, lovely areas for lounging in the sun, nice little shack for chairs, towels, etc. If you are a true lover of ocean and beach lifestyle, this is for you. No “glitz” or touristy pretention—just the real deal. Going back? Oh, yes!

Enjoyed proximity to many beaches.
Great pool and the poolside restaurant was very good. Loved the all the green spaces at the resort.

This condo was one of the nicest I’ve stayed in and I’ve been coming to Kiahuna for 35yrs. My only complaint would be the bed. It felt uneven and not comfortable. Other than that this condo was great. Nice flooring, counter tops, etc.

I hope to return someday. Location was amazing, world class beach, huge grassy lawns, palm trees. Bed was comfy, everything very clean. Small but perfect for a couple alone or with two kids. My kids said, "This doesn't even seem real!"

Condo is clean and great location to the lawn area, not really ocean view from the Lanai as photos would indicate
Condo was not ready at check-in time, we had to wait for cleaning to finish.
There was a bird trap outside bedroom window and rooster was caught and 1st morning at 5:30 am decided to make some noise. Luckily it was removed and no other issues after the 1st night.
A couple of small maintenance issues need to be addressed.
Overall a great stay and we would consider staying there again

We had an amazing time here! We were a party of 3 (2 adults and 1 toddler) and it was a pretty good size for a small family (slightly larger than the pictures look).
The best part was the location!! A stones throw to the beach and walkable to he Poipu Athletic Club made our beach days super easy. Our 3 year old could not get enough of the great pool at the athletic club--particularly the water slide, and the food there was way better than expected! We walked to Poipu keiki beach regularly but preferred the quiet of the beach right in front of the plantation (note the waves are a bit rougher for a young child). The resorts we passed by were so busy by contrast-- we much preferred the quiet and spaciousness of the plantation.
The Castle Rock folks were very friendly and kind. We had trouble with the wifi, which they said had been an ongoing issue. They scheduled servicing from spectrum during our stay which fixed the issue and did not interrupt our plans.
The hosts were very responsive and sent great recommendations ahead of the stay.

Our time here was fantastic! EVERYTHING was fantastic. The accommodations, the property, the ease of getting around to other spots on the island and the overall "feel" of being here, was simply easy and amazing. Again, this was perfection in Poipu!

We enjoy staying at the Kiahuna Plantation! The property is in easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants and activities. The plantation grounds are beautiful, the beach is a few feet from the condo and the condo is nicely decorated and equipped with whatever you need. A great place to relax and enjoy Poipu Beach area.

We have stayed in this area several times before and this property was by far the best! The condo is clean and well thought out with many amenities. The kitchen is well stocked and there was plenty of counter space and room for meal prep and meals. The location is excellent-steps to the beach (which is beautiful) and walkable to shops and restaurants. Communication with the owner, Kristi, could not have been better. She even sent us a list of restaurants and ideas for our stay! We are already looking forward to our next stay at this property!

This condo was amazing! It’s our third trip to the Kiahuna Plantation, but the first time staying in this condo, and it was our favorite one by far! The condo has been beautifully updated and the location is in the perfect spot on the property. Close to the beach, parking, front office, and laundry facilities. The condo is equipped with everything you need, from kitchen items to beach items, and it has an air conditioner. We ran the AC on the hot August days but turned it off at night and let the place cool down with the nice breeze.
Great communication with the owners and checking in and out was very simple. Snorkel gear can be rented at the beach hut, so save space in your luggage and leave yours at home. A stay at the Kiahuna Plantation also comes with access to the athletic club across the street. We visited the athletic club almost daily, using the pool, the weight room, and tennis/basketball courts.
We can’t wait to visit this condo again in the future!

We loved warm tropical breezes blowing through louvered shutters. Loved seeing talk palm trees sway and short walk to beach. Recently remodeled. Great well equipped Kitchen with nice layout and extra seating for nights extended family joined us for dinner. Easy to move in and out from house to patio.

We were so happy with this property! The updates are beautiful are create a relaxed, special environment. The mornings were spent with open windows in this beautiful corner unit - so even while getting sleepy kids fed, you still felt like you were outdoors.
The owners provided wonderful recommendations for activities and food/drink throughout the island.
They also provided every beach and ocean toy you could want.
They had a terrific selection of books and both our kids picked up a few throughout our stay, so the TV never came on, but it was large and updated if you would ever need it. If you are looking at this unit and it’s available. Reserve it. You’ll love it.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The owner approved it and got back to me so quickly. I had to book a trip in just a few days from Minnesota to visit my family due to my grandpa being in the hospital.
The ocean was so close and my daughter had yet to see the ocean since she was born in the mainland. She had also started walking during the winter so she had never run barefoot in the grass. It was a huge moment for her to run barefoot in the grass to the ocean and we loved experiencing that with her at a beach that I grew up going to.
The condo was clean and cool with the air conditioner running. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone. It's conveniently located close to the beach, shops, restaurants and centrally located to either the west side or north shore.

I have been coming to Kiahuna since I was a child and this year was able to bring our almost 2 year old son to keep the tradition going. The unit was beautiful, very well updated and perfect for our family. We will be staying here again soon!

Condo is close to each and it’s a nice walk in either direction to other properties. Bigger beaches. Everyone is very quiet at the property and it’s close to good restaurants and downtown shops. We have stayed at the property twice now and live how nice the grounds are kept. Laundry facility is just ok, a lot of machines were out of order but otherwise the outdoor gym is nice as well as the pool.

The owners didn't inform us there would be open trench work at their unit during our stay. There is no ocean view from the lanai. The new flooring and remodeled kitchen are nice.

My family and I has a great time. The location of the condo is GREAT. Steps away from the beach. The pool and athletic club is about a 6 minute walk from the room and you must cross the street. But, the amenities there are perfect. Water slide, café bar and grill, basketball, tennis soccer you name it. I would return and stay here again.

Our family had a great time at the condo. The location was a very short walk to the beach with a huge open grassy area with loungers and a rental place for gear and towels. Our kids loved the pool and water slide at the Poipu Athletic Club across the street which was easy to access (plenty of parking if you don't want to walk) and it was great that The Cabana provides service for poolside food and drinks. We had a great stay overall and would love to come back!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The condo was perfect for my wife and I. The condo has everything that you need for cooking if you want to do that. In addition, it was a 2 minute walk to the beach and the grounds are immaculate and well maintained. Restaurants are walking distance and there is a nice pathway to walk along the ocean.

The Kiahuna Plantation is a wonderful place to stay and this condo is in one of the better locations. Views toward the beach and steps from the expansive lawn area make it a perfect setting. Air conditioning helps too!

This property was in a nice location...just a short walk across a large grassy area to the beach (one of the few in around that was nice and sandy). We enjoyed having a low hedge in front of the outdoor sitting area. Decorations were very beachy and well done. Nice open concept. We enjoyed our stay very much!

This property was just as described and more! We loved that it was first floor and a minute walk to the beach!
Condo was updated with a nice decor, remodeled bathroom, newer furniture, and an updated kitchen. Also, the kitchen had everything you needed with nice pots and pans for cooking.
My young boys really enjoyed access to the closet area that had boogie boards and we enjoyed the beach chairs.
The plantation complex itself had easy access to a laundry facility, clean beach towels each day, and the ability to sign up for surf lessons or to rent surf boards. (Waves were too high when we were there, but it’s a great amenity.) I felt safe allowing the boys to run around in the grassy area and we left our stuff out on the lanai each night. It felt safe with lots of regulars there.
The Poipu Athletic Complex is not super close, but has a nice little pool for the kids. It’s kind of awkward that it’s a bit up the road, but we were hitting beaches most of the time! If you are a pool person, you may want it closer.
The girl at check-in could have been a bit more welcoming and she could have used more Aloha :) Both the group in front of us and ourselves felt the same way.
And … like everywhere else, the rooster crowing each morning outside my window was annoying. :) lol
