This condo was beautifully decorated and had an outstanding view of the grounds and ocean from both the upper and lower patios. The beds were very comfortable. The unit also has room air conditioners which worked well to keep us cool. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone considering a stay in Kauai. The Kiahina Plantation is beautiful and their grounds are pristine. I have stayed there 6 or 7 times and would not stay anywhere else.

The location of this condo is so perfect. The view from the lanai looks exactly like the photo and yet the photo just doesn’t do it justice. Absolutely gorgeous view of the ocean! Cannot stress that enough! So quintessentially Hawaiian. The beautiful sandy swimmable beach is just a short 2-3 minute walk. The unit was clean and comfortable and had everything you would need for a beach vacation. In-unit laundry was a nice bonus. Kiahuna Plantation grounds are absolutely beautiful as well. We had a couple small issues arise during our stay and the owner responded immediately to my messages and accommodated our requests. Would definitely recommend this property and will stay here again when on the south shore of Kauai. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful location, walked to the water every day to drink our coffee. Close to shops and the beach is amazing with fabulous snorkeling. The condo has umbrellas and beach chairs and boogie boards for use at the beach.
Will definitely be back and with the kids next time!

Loved everything about our stay at this Kiahuna Plantation unit! Only thing that would have been helpful was if there were basics for the kitchen. If you are planning to cook, plan to buy everything - including salt and pepper. Not the fault of the owner at all but a sanitary policy of the management company. Just a heads up. We will be back! Gorgeous all around!

The Kiahuna Plantation in general is a wonderful place to stay, and this unit in particular makes for an amazing experience. This is the second time we’ve stayed in this unit and our ninth or tenth trip to the Kiahuna in the past 21 years. We just love, love, love it and we’re so happy this unit was available for our trip back this year!

Great location, awesome ocean view with easy beach access. One thing to note is that the pool amenities, gym, and hot tub are not on site and are across the street at an athletic club. The pool/gym amenities are very nice, though just across a busy road. We plan to return!

This beautiful Poipu home is perfectly located and has an wonderful view of the ocean. The home is very well kept, but its the thoughtful amenities THROUGHOUT the home that was such a surprise. Whatever you think you might need while staying here, forget because they have already thought of it. From bathroom amenities to pre-loaded streaming services on the televisions they have thought of everything.
We look forward to our next visit. Thank you A & A for making this a memorable trip.

Spent so much time researching and this unit checked so many boxes for us and 3 kids. The condo itself is so well maintained and immaculately clean! The property and location of the unit within the property was amazing - so beautiful with a perfect view. We loved having both the upstairs lanai to enjoy views from as well as the patio that opens up to a lawn where my kids would play tag and catch during our downtime. The small private beach was never super crowded and even my youngest was able to swim and body board at this spot when we wanted to stay "in". We cooked a few breakfast meals. and made coffee each morning. But mostly enjoyed having Little Fish Co just across the street - yummy bagels, coffee, and smoothies! We were able to throw in small loads of laundry right in the unit which was so convenient. The unit had TVs with free movies and cable in each room which was a treat for the kids each morning since we woke up so early because of the time difference. There was also a closet with beach chairs, an umbrella, sand toys, and snorkeling gear - so nice to not have to be able to use these things.
Though it was tough without air conditioning (even in mid Oct) there were plenty of fans provided throughout the unit and we were not indoors too much during the day. It would cool a bit at night, to where it didn't bother us in the bedrooms if we kept the fans on.
Check in/check out was super simple and quick. The owners of the unit provided so much great info in the listing and have left thoughtful notes throughout the house that we greatly appreciated. Needless to say we would come back here again and recommend it to friends! Mahalo!!

We just spent 4 lovely nights at Kiahuna Plantation. This is a delightful property, and the unit was very nice. View from the balcony is great (can see waves breaking in the distance, with palm trees/lawn in front). Beach access is great (adjoining property), and beach is very nice (soft sand & swimmable, in contrast to other properties). There is an in-unit washer/dryer, and the kitchen is well stocked with plates/bowls/silverware. Only issue is that the unit is not air conditioned, so can get hot during the day (in Sept), but it does cool off at night. Unit does have good air circulation.

This is our third time staying at the condos @ Kiahuna but the first time in a 2 bedroom and it did not disappoint. The vaulted ceilings and ocean views made for a peaceful stay just steps away from the great lawn and beach. The condo is well-equipped with beach items and the kitchen was fairly well-stocked as well. There are LOTS of fans (you'll need them with the heat and humidity, and no AC). The upstairs living area is much bigger than it seems online, and we enjoyed family dinners on the deck.
We did run into a few major maintenance issues, though I wouldn't put this on the owners (who were incredibly helpful and responsive). The microwave was sparking to the point we couldn't use it, and the new one the Outrigger brought did the same thing after a few uses (thankfully we checked out that day). Our water was turned off without notice and I had to put major pressure on Outrigger to find a reasonable solution and escalate to the Director of Maintenance.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning again someday. If the Outrigger management can figure out how to allow owners to have AC, it would be a major win (especially with young kiddos!). Alan and Anne were very easy to work with and super helpful throughout our stay.

This condo was great! It had everything we needed for our trip including boogie boards for the kids to ride at the beach. Sitting out on the lanai watching the palm trees sway while the kids ran around on the lawn below was a great way to spending an afternoon. And the proximity to the beach made getting to and from the beach super easy. Definitely staying there again on our next trip to Kauai!

Well stocked with supplies, great central location on the property with short walk to beach and a spectacular view! Felt spoiled with three lanais! Washer and dryer were great to have as well! Appreciated the extra floor fans in addition to the ceiling fans! Two bedrooms and bathrooms worked out great for our stay! Would most definitely choose this unit again (and hopefully it will have A/C by then)! Very responsive host as well!

The location is ideal IMHO - equal distance from the beach and pool. The view from the 2nd story balcony is beautiful. It's also a very nice perk to be able to chill out at the pool on our checkout day with a 9:15pm redeye flight back to the mainland. The Poipu Athletic club is much improved from our previous visits. If you're lucky enough to reserve this property you're indeed very fornunate.

We love Kiahuna Plantation and this unit has the perfect location! The view is absolutely stunning and it's just a short walk to swim in the sea. The unit's decor is lovely and parking is convenient. The large bedroom is great, but it wasn't clear the second bathroom is not ensuite. It's a bit of a challenge to keep the unit cool without AC, but the evening breeze helps.

This is a super great place to stay, roomy enough for our family of 6, great view of the ocean, a short walk to good snorkeling and medium skill level surfing. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had what we needed. We did not once miss the lack of air conditioning. The ocean breeze and ceiling/floor fans were plenty sufficient, and it felt good to have the screen doors and Windows open rather than be closed up in a room with A/C. We’d definitely stay here again.

Great location in terms of close by amenities and access to everything, including the beach, restaurants, golf, and shopping. The grounds of the property are amazing! Only thing missing was air conditioning, but the open floor plan windows/shades & fans in every room definitely make up for it and I hear the complex is working on a power upgrade to facilitate A/C. We will definitely book here again if available.

Kiahuna #76 is a beautiful, well appointed rental. We were four adults and it is one of the few rentals available with 2 bedrooms. Views from the balcony were splendid. While the ocean is described as quiet and child friendly we did not find it as such. Perhaps it is simply the time of year we were there. A little further to the east, at Poipu Beach, there is a lagoon that is much friendlier to our non-strong swimmers. While the unit does not have air conditioning it was quite pleasant with the cooling trade winds. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking small to large meals. We would definitely stay here again.
