My wife and I just returned from a trip to Kauai. This is a beautiful condo unit that is very clean with all the amenities needed for a great trip. You can tell the unit was recently remodeled and it had very nice furniture and appliances. While we were in Kauai, we checked out all the beaches in Poipu and in our opinion the beach right in front of this condo complex is the nicest and most family friendly. The owner was great and sent us a list of sites to check out and restaurant recommendations. She even reached out to us while were there to see if we needed anything. We definitely plan on returning and will try to stay in this unit again if it's available.

Really nice apartment in a lovely park like setting. Quiet and well looked after grounds. The unit was really comfortable, super clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was lovely with a welcoming note, starter pack of coffee/sugar/etc... The beach equipment was great to have on hand and the beach towel swap with the resort worked fine. Appreciated the info book on the area and the unit equipment. Air conditioning in the bedroom was great for sleeping, didn't need it during the day with the cross-breeze. We researched a lot of units in this area, and were really happy with choosing 151!

This is our second stay at this beautiful, updated Kiahuna condo. The condo is located near restaurants, shopping and most importantly, the beach. The unit has a fully stocked kitchen and a closet full of beach items. The owner was great to work and was super responsive. Will definitely be staying here again, on our next trip to Kauai!!!

We were so delighted with every aspect of our stay in this sparkling clean, comfortable, well-appointed condo. Its location was perfect. We loved being able to walk right out onto the huge lawn with just a short, easy walk to the beach. The owners provided a closet filled with beach toys from umbrellas to boogie boards. With an especially comfortable bed and very well-stocked kitchen, we couldn’t have been happier!

The positives:
-Great location
-Great amenities. We had everything we needed. Thoughtful items included: scuba gear, boogie boards, beach toys, beach chair (only one) and umbrella, kitchen is stocked with basic cooking items, but no spices (apart from salt and pepper) or condiments (oil for cooking)
The negatives:
-All managed by outtrigger so any concerns would have to go through them directly, which made communication a little less efficient
-Cleaning could be improved. It was dusty. Lamp shades had dust bunnies in them and all baseboards and surfaces as well. Towels had staining
-Noise. walls are thin. we could hear people walking all night and sometimes cars coming in and out since the condo is surrounded by parked cars
Despite the minor negatives, Deanna was communicative and thoughtful. We appreciated the hospitality and definitely return.

We had a fabulous experience staying at this clean condo. The complex is centrally located and close to many restaurants, shops, beaches, etc. The unit is located within a two minute walk to the beach, which is wonderful and allows you to easily come and go from the beach the entire day. There are chairs, boogie board, snorkel gear and a cooler for your use in the unit. Lastly, the owner was wonderful to work with and provided ample information in a very timely manner.

Beautiful property with well kept gardens. The view from the lanai looked like small golf course greens. The football field size grass area above the beach was well kept with lounge chairs to enjoy the view but were not allowed to use umbrella. So, you could only tolerate max 30 minutes before roasting in the sun. This was the only negative about the whole property. My wife is handicap and unable to walk in the sand. We purposely choose properties that have grass area adjacent to beaches for that reason. Not able to use an umbrella was unbearable. The only shade was back to the room. Thus rule should be changed. Thank you for supplying the umbrella but maybe put an asterisk next to it.

We had a very comfortable stay. We have a family of 4 and it was a one-bedroom with a foldout couch, and we were very happy with the amount of room and how easy we could unfold and fold the couch each day. Everything was easy to use and find in the kitchen. We will definitely stay again.

Big plus having AC to keep the pesky rooster cries muffled. East-West orientation also allows great cross ventilation and use of patio most of the day, shaded and comfortable. Bed super comfortable. Nicely updated decor. No owner clutter so we could settle in. Access to Piopu Athletic club and pool a great benefit. Grills nearby and beach easy access from this unit. Owner interaction excellent. Appreciated the gift card for our anniversary. Already booked this unit for 2023.

This was my wife and my third trip to Kauai, and this condo is hands-down the best place we've stayed on the island.
The unit is updated, decorated to complement the surroundings and very clean. From the patio, you overlook an amazing tree and lush landscape that is mesmerizing.
The host, Deena, is incredible. She communicated at exactly the right times... before, during and after our stay. She even had a personal welcome card waiting for us at check-in.
I highly recommend this condo to anyone considering it!

Simply said, this was a great place to stay. The view from the lanai was superb and we loved being on the first floor. Location was greet as it was a short walk to the beach and the pool was just a bit further. We experienced a small issue with mold on the bathroom ceiling but this was quickly resolved thanks to the great on-site management team and incredible communication by the owner! Thanks so much!!

The condo is lovely, clean and comfortable just like the pictures. The patio is more private than others at this location. The owners are gracious and kind. Kiahuna Plantation provides beauty everywhere you look, a brief walk-through lush landscaping brings you to the beach and you can walk for over a mile along or on the beach. We saw turtles on the beach at sunset and swam with them during the day. The Sheraton is right next door with beach side restaurants. The workout center is just wonderful, pool, weight rooms, pickle ball, tennis, shuffleboard, bar and more. We will return, not wanting to leave at this moment.

We had the most incredible time at this gorgeous condo! Deena was wonderful to work with. She responded right away, helped us change dates before arriving and resolved a small issue while we were there. It was beautiful, beds were comfy, very clean and beautifully decorated, and we just loved the first floor location and lanai! This resort is ideal - great beaches for snorkeling, boogie boarding and surfing and fabulous restaurants and luaus to walk to as well. Especially loved Little Fish Coffee across the street and appreciated the gift card upon arrival - so nice!! We also enjoyed the pool and water slide and ate there many times, as the grill is super yummy! Can’t wait to return!!

We really enjoyed our stay in unit 151. The unit was very clean & was stocked with mostly everything we would need for the beach or kitchen items for preparing meals. There are many very clean gas grills on property. We also loved the athletic facility across the street. A nice walk from the unit to enjoy a workout, cornhole, volleyball, basketball etc. We moved over to a very nice resort for our 2nd wk in celebration of our anniversary, & we both wished we had booked our full stay at the condo instead. There are markets nearby. CVS drug store just a few mins away. Many restaurants. The scenic views, sunsets, ocean waves all were just amazing! If you're on the fence about booking this unit, I would definitely encourage you to do it. We really hope we can come back again next year. We would definitely book here again!!

Beautiful unit! Recently remodeled with nice furnishings, all amenities, and a/c (rare at Kiahuna). Ground floor unit with lanai on grass and two minute walk to beach. Nice extras including beach chairs, umbrellas, smart TV. No washer/dryer in unit, but fairly close community facility (credit card operated). We definitely recommend this unit and we hope to have the chance to stay here again in the near future! Property was just as represented: clean, nice ground floor view of the grass, well stocked. Have stayed at the Kiahuna Plantation many times before, first time in this unit, it was very good relative to others. Orientation meant the outward facing patio/furniture were in the shade during the afternoon when hottest, so was nice for evening relaxing. The owner of the property was terrific in greeting us online before we got there, being available should we have any issues.

We stayed in this unit for two weeks and it's one of the best on the Plantation. The location is private but close to the beach/ocean, many upgrades compared to other units we've stayed in, and several amenities like beach chairs, snorkeling gear, etc. Deena is very responsive and gave us several ideas for restaurants suggesting we make reservations in advance.

After spending a lot of time trying to decide where to stay in Poipu (and Kauai) I settled on Kiahuna Plantation and this particular unit. I am so happy I did.
First, Poipu is a great location because the south is so sunny (be sure to visit the north). We were not as enamored with the east part of the island and the west part is very remote.
Within Poipu you have a number of options but Kiahuna Plantation is perfect because it has its own beach (and lawn with chairs, towel service, etc) and because there is a shopping center across the street with a small grocery and several restaurants you can just walk to. This includes the famous Little Fish coffee shop (get in line early or later to avoid the rush).
Within the plantation there are several units for rent - this was one of the best for a few reasons: it is recently renovated, it has AC which we only used the first night as we acclimated to the warm weather (but the orientation of the unit allows breezes to cool the unit naturally), it is closer to the beach, and it is ground level so you can just walk right out to access things.
Deena and Steve were great hosts with lots of recommendations and advice (book restaurants early).
Nearby is hiking to the east of Shipwreck Beach and the shops at Kukui‘ula (which has even more restaurants and a Long Drugs which can provide less expensive groceries).
I am so happy we picked this unit and would return in a heartbeat.

Absolutely no complaints about our stay. Condo is well appointed, comfortable, quiet, clean and a couple minutes walk from the beach. You can also walk across the street for a variety of shops and restaurants. We appreciated the beach gear and mini cooler. The ice maker in the fridge was more than sufficient for packing the cooler and drinks in the evening. Also glad to have the AC. Appreciated the location as it is central (Waimea Canyon is about an hour west and Hanalei is about an hour north.) Great communication from the host.

Condo was beautifully decorated. The king bed was very comfortable and we slept so well listening to the waves of the ocean. Morning coffee on the patio was memorable as we watched the sunrise. Steps from the beach . Sunsets were gorgeous and we saw whales most evenings! The health club across the street was a great place for exercise. Literally paradise here and will definitely return. Our family regularly visits Kauai and we’re pretty familiar with the Poipu area. This property provides easy access to Kiahuna/Sheraton beach. Surf lessons can be booked through Kauai Surf School which is located on site at the beachside surf shack. There are shops and restaurants located across the street. The unit has folding beach chairs, beach umbrellas and some snorkel gear. There is a kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. No washer/dryer in the unit. The unit has one bedroom and a sofa bed. It was just right for our family of three. Overall a very good rental property if you are planning to stay on the south side of Kauai.

The Plantation is such a great place for families to gather. We had 6 different families and everyone had their own unit. We loved staying in the remodeled AIR CONDITIONED #151. Wonderful vacation. The location is great, easy walk to everything in Poipu. The unit is on the ground floor which made it fantastic for the children. They could just run outside and play in the grass area while we watched from inside or on the porch. This place has two A/C units which was fantastic for sleeping. The bed is very comfortable, and a sleeper sofa for the kids. There is a crib available in the closet.
There were chairs and boogie boards. If you want to snorkel, there is a child's setup and fins for one adult. I brought my own goggles. Beach towels are included and easy to exchange when needed.
Kitchen is very nice. You will find what you need but no spices (in case you plan on cooking).
Owners were great! Very responsive and checked in to make sure everything was ok.

Deena was a Super Host! We had some challenging scheduling issues and Deena couldn't have been more understanding and accommodating. Upon arriving at the property we were so pleased with the location, the unit and the A/C! What a bonus! 17 of our family met at Kiahuna Plantation Resort in different units. Our owner was so outstanding snd the condo so beautiful, I could never stay elsewhere. The condo is what you see through the listing. Gorgeous, we’ll stocked. Deena accommodated us with a late check out because our flight isn’t til 6:30 pm. This is a fantastic property, and we will rebook this condo again without a doubt. Thank you to our owner for everything.
