We have stayed at other properties in the Poipu area and really love the Kiahuna Plantation. The beach is one of the best on the island, the condo was very well appointed with a view of the ocean and the beach a short 3 min walk away. The resort Beach Hut provides easy checkout of towels and beach chairs with rental of beach gear and surfing lessons. Shops and restaurants are within easy reach. Great experience!

This unit is perfect for a couple. It's in an excellent location and the property is well maintained. (We were amazed that someone cleans the barbecue grills every morning!) The unit had everything we needed in terms of amenities and the kitchen was well stocked. The only thing that could be improved is the noise from neighbors that comes in through the windows. We highly recommend this unit!

This unit's location is perfect! A few steps out from the patio is the BBQ grill (which they deep clean every day). About 2 minutes from that you're on the grass with lounge chairs, towels ready to enjoy the clear, beautiful ocean. A few more steps and you're on the sand. The water's temperature was perfect to go in while some days we spent most of the time relaxing and soaking up the sun. The unit provided snorkel gear (not the fins) so having that as another option to enjoy seeing the underwater array of beautiful fish was a huge plus. There are feet washing stations around the property to wash the off the sand. We started nearly every morning with something from the Little Fish Cafe just across the street (order on line to avoid the line) then we'd take a walk past the Sheraton where there was always sea turtles to enjoy watching. The unit itself had air conditioning which I didn't think we'd ever use but I was wrong. This was a huge bonus on those hot days. The unit itself has been renovated and quite frankly the pictures do not do it justice. It's SO nice and has everything anyone would need to do nothing but go to the beach every day. Boogie boards, books, beach chairs, pots & pans (I like to cook), cooler, games, beach umbrellas - it's all there! We've been coming to this property annually for about 8 years now but this was our first in this unit. I think we've found home. I can't say enough about how nice this stay was. I look forward to repeating it in 2024!

My mom and I absolutely loved our stay!! It was perfectly located on the Island for the activities that we planned and was within walking distance of many fantastic places to eat and grab coffee! The grounds of the area themselves are beautiful and immaculately maintained. The unit was fantastic with top notch upgrades, and we enjoyed having access to the beach chairs/gear. It was nice to have the added space of a living room/kitchen area as opposed to a simple hotel room. 100/100 would recommend staying here!

My husband, daughter (age 11), and I all absolutely loved this condo. Great air conditioning and fans, very well appointed kitchen, comfy bed and furniture, and even a view of the ocean over the trees from the lanai. The property felt like a botanical garden. It was an easy walk to Poipu Beach to see the sea turtles at sunset (a must do)! We also loved visiting the Athletic Club across the street. The pool was fantastic and a very quick and easy walk from the condo. Deena was an attentive host and Outrigger was easy to work with for check in and checkout. We spent 5 days exploring the south end of the island and I’m so happy we chose this specific place to stay. It was a GEM. We cooked a lot of meals in the condo but we can definitely recommend eating at least once at Da Crack (tacos and burritos). Enormous portions and a 3 minute drive from Kiahuna Plantation.

We had a phenomenal time at Kiahuna Plantation #128. The unit was beautiful, well maintained, super clean and a perfect location… and one of a few units with A/C. We were very intentional about finding a unit with A/C… but actually found ourselves taking more advantage of the natural breeze. It was a short walk to the beautiful beach… the grounds are spectacular and the host was amazing. She communicated really well, provided tons of ideas for local fun… and added a ton of small personal touches. Highly recommend!

The grounds of this resort are AMAZING!!! Everything is immaculate and so beautiful. The condo itself was comfortable and is equipped with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. We appreciated the AC since we stayed in August. We also enjoyed being on the ground floor and being able to walk right out onto the grass and down to the beach; however, you can hear footsteps if someone is staying in the condo above you. The condo also has a peekaboo view of the ocean. A few additional things to note are that there are no spices (not even salt and pepper) and no foil, plastic wrap, baggies, etc., so if you plan on cooking in you may want to think about purchasing some of those items. However, the resort does supply you with plenty of toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, body soap, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, dish towels, and a sponge so you will not need to purchase those items. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, great unit and great host! Deena was wonderful throughout the whole process, very responsive and thoughtful! The unit is very nice, clean and has all the amenities a family needs (well stocked kitchen, beach gear for adults and children, gas grill just in front of the lanai, restaurants across the street etc.)
The unit is a 1-2 minutes walk to the beautiful Kiahuna beach. Poipu beach is also within short distance (we decided to drive to Poipu beach instead of walking due to all the beach gear).
We stayed four nights in the south and four nights in the north. Each part of the island has its own beauty and I highly recommend splitting the time. I am slightly biased for the natural beauty of the North, but I absolutely appreciated the wonderful accommodations in the south / unit 128. Home away from home for our family of four! Thank you Deena! Appreciated your note and the Little Fish Coffee gift. The best vacation our family had, celebrating our 20 year anniversary and my birthday! Will definitely come back! Valeria

One of the best properties in Kiahuna plantation!! Updated, clean, and the view with the ocean from lanai is hard to beat. The owner is super nice and always checks on us to make sure everything is going smooth (that’s not the first time and not their first unit that belongs to them, that we stayed at!). Has an AC, which we personally didn’t use it but it’s a great option to have. We definitely recommend it and will definitely stay there again!

Our stay in Poipu was outstanding. The place was very clean (minus some gnats due to the weather, which we were warned about!), quiet, and a short walk or drive to the beautiful beaches in the Poipu area. The owner responded quickly when we had a problem, and that made our honeymoon stay a positive one. On top of that, the whole property was beautiful and well maintained with such helpful staff! Extremely pleased with our stay! It is close to a quiet beach with great services, and is a very clean and well appointed condo. Really couldn't ask for more -- loved having chairs and umbrellas in the unit, so we didn't have to rent/buy on the island. The complex is in an ideal location for the south shore with the Po'ipu Shopping Village right across the road with places to eat/shop and other options nearby. Also very easy to hit the road for the rest of what Kauai has to offer. Would 100% stay again!

We got to the condo after staying in 4 days up in Princeville, and although we also loved it up in north Kauai, it was a welcome change coming to this cheerful little home. We were amazed how close we were to the beach (about 300 steps...yep, we counted). We went down to the beach every morning to enjoy the early sun before it got too hot. You can actually see the ocean from the back deck which was kind of fun.
The condo had everything we needed. We ate out but cooked at home too and we never needed anything additional. They have a blow dryer and a straightener to use. We enjoyed the use of their beach chairs as well. We also noticed they had boogie boards, an umbrella or two, sand toys and maybe even one set up scuba gear...we mostly just used the chairs. The bed was comfortable and the place was warm and inviting. We also loved relaxing on the back deck to eat breakfast or just sit and visit. There are BBQ grills just a couple yards from the back deck (they are shared with others).
Deena was welcoming and responsive. She even had a card waiting for us with a personal note and a gift card to Little Fish Coffee, which is just across the highway.
In additional to the great place, you also have full access to the Poipu Athletic Club. It has a pool, multiple workout rooms, bathrooms/showers, tennis and pickleball. There is no charge to use these facilities and it just a walk across the street to access them. Kauai Surf School is on the grounds so if you are interested in surfing, it is located close-by too. And lastly, you are right near the Poipu Shopping Villages with restaurants and stores. It's a perfect location.
Overall, I would highly recommend. I'll be honest, if I have my way, we will be back at this place next spring. :)

The property is gorgeous and immaculately maintained. Unit 128 is nicely furnished and has everything you need in the kitchen and times on the beach. It is wonderful having the beach right there with choices of sitting on the grass or going for the sand with an umbrella etc. Entertainment watching surf lessons or going into the quieter part of the beach for a swim or snorkelling, The location of the resort is perfect, with easy access to shopping and restaurants. We waited for this vacation as a travel directory for COVID kept us from coming in 2022. It did not disappoint!

Our stay here was amazing!! The condo itself is very well set up, clean and cute, exactly like the pictures! The location was fantastic, walking distance to the beach and shops. The overall property was lovely to walk around and well maintained. The kitchen was well set up with all of the dishes and cookware you might need.

We couldn't have asked for a better location than Deena's condo. It was our first trip to Kauai and this was the perfect place to stay. The condo is well stocked with lots of amenities, including full kitchen but also beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, etc. It was a very short walk to the beach, where we took a surf lesson and rented snorkeling gear right on the property. Restaurants are only a short drive away as well. Kauai is a magical island, and staying at Deena's place only made it better. We would love to return one day. Deena's hospitality and welcome were fantastic.

We are a family of 3 w/ a 6yr old. The property was wonderful and in a super location. The plantation resort was clean and well maintained. We loved being on walking distance to the beach, the pool/athletic center, shops and restaurants. There was beach gear/sand toys readily available for use. We really appreciated the AC and the smart TV as a cooling break from all the wonderful outdoor activities the island has to offer. The kitchen was stocked with many pots/pans/bowls utensils and ready for any cooking and cleaning (dishwasher and cleaning supplies, broom etc). Some VRBOs have basic cooking essentials like oil/seasonings etc which we did have to buy for this trip. A small amount of salt, pepper and coffee were available along with a truly thoughtful gift card to the Little Fish coffee house located across the street which has killer coffee and Açaí bowls. The bedroom/bathroom has many drawers for storage to unpack. The resort does have housekeeping service. We stayed 10 days which included two towel exchanges and one linen change which was much appreciated!! (More housekeeping services available if requested/paid for separately from booking). We had a wonderful time here!! Thank you for opening your property up to us we are truly grateful!

My partner and I had a blast staying at the Kiahuna Plantation. The unit was a very short walk from the beach, well stocked with beach chairs and supplies, and right next to the BBQ for easy grilling access. The staff at the property were pleasant and courteous, and checking in and out was a breeze. The unit having AC was a nice bonus, though most of the time opening the shutters for a cross breeze was enough to it cool down. 10/10 would happily stay here again.

We loved staying here! We went to Kauai to celebrate our 23rd anniversary! We loved that there was air conditioning in the living area and bedroom. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and loved drinking our coffee early in the morning on the lanai and drinking mai tais in the evening. As an adult, I can tell you it was just fantastic and the AC was essential during the heat we experienced! The property was perfect! Really great and clean. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio every morning with our coffees. The location was perfect as well as a short walking distance from the resort and Poipu Beach Park. We went there watching the turtles come on the Beach Beach evening. Many Little coffees and Shops were also a walking distance. The kids also really enjoyed the resort pool!! We loved our stay and will be Back if ever on Kauai again in the next few years. Thanks!

We have visited Kiahuna many times over the last 35 years, usually in 2 bedroom units. This year, after some of our family left, we relocated to this lovely one bedroom condo. The transition was easy and seamless as the unit was ready to move in early. It was one of the nicest we've ever stayed in. It was very clean and the recent remodeling was very well done. We would highly recommend this first floor well appointed one bedroom condo. It even had a peek a boo view of the ocean. Kiahuna is the best.

We had a wonderful stay in this unit. We’ve stayed in many Kiahuna units over the past 20 years, and this was easily one of the best. Because of the beautiful renovation choices, it feels much larger than units with less updating. Most units in this resort do not have AC, and the fact that this one has TWO units is a huge plus. The island was unusually muggy during our stay, and the AC ended up being a real life saver.
As a host, Deena really stood out! Truly the most kind and thoughtful host in all my experiences renting. We had to reschedule quite a few times due to the pandemic, and she was so accommodating and helpful as we navigated everything.

The condo was perfect for what we needed. Just a quick few minute walk to the beach or a quick walk the plaza across the street. The staff was great from check in and even the grounds workers were very friendly. We loved eating breakfast on the lanai and the ocean view was a plus. Parking was right outside of the condo and there was plenty of it. Deena answered all of my questions and responded promptly to all messages. We’re already planning our next trip :)

Highly recommend this condo. It was spotless and very well maintained. Furniture was modern and very comfortable.
The grounds were dotted with huge old Monkey Pod trees and emmaculate landscaping. We felt like we were tucked into a botanical garden. We enjoyed hiking around the many gardens. And it was a beautiful walk to the beach.
We love to grill and have our meals outdoors. The grills were just steps from our lanai, so meal prep was so quick and easy!
Deena was such an awesome host. She took great care of us and checked in throughout our stay to make sure we had what we needed.
We can't wait to return to this condo on our next visit to Kauai.

Kaihuna Planation is an excellent Hawaiian vacation destination. Deena's condo had a good view of the ocean and a short walk to the beach to view spectacular Hawaiian sunsets. Everything we needed for the beach, chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler was included in the room. The kitchen was also well equipped for what we needed. The location is very relaxing and quiet, just what we wanted.
Deena is a great hostess and was very helpful such as giving us a warning that prime time slot restaurant reservations fill quickly, like weeks in advance (and they do). She also suggested we visit Little Fish, just across the street. My wife loved Little Fish and it became her favorite breakfast spot. Deena was also quick to reply when we had questions.
Of course, any Hawaii vacation would not be complete without having Hula Pie, which was also across the street at Keoki's Paradise.
We have been to Hawaii multiple times and this was a great place to relax and enjoy the sun and beach. We will certainly consider this condo again for future trips.

We had a wonderful stay in this condo. It was clean and furnished exactly as advertised. The parking was super close to the condo (which is a convenient perk we learned the hard way during a prior trip to a different resort). The location was beautiful and peaceful as well. Our overall experience in this condo and the Kiahuna Plantation was very relaxing and enjoyable! We would definitely go back!
