Condo is well equipped and close to BBQ's and laundry area. Five minute walk to Kiahuna beach to watch sunsets or have a beach day. We liked the convenience of walking to restaurants and having free use of the Poipu Athletic Club to use the pool and gym. Restaurant there has good food and drink. For those who are frequent condo travelers to the islands and may be used to having certain supplies in the unit kitchen, such as foil, plastic wrap, and various seasonings, note that Castle Resorts protocol is to not leave these items in the unit for the next guests to use....so if staying for a length of time or planning to do a lot of cooking, know that you will need to buy or bring these items. Kitchen has all utensils and cooking pots/pans you will need. Also has beach supplies such as beach chairs, coolers and umbrellas. Beach towels supplied by the resort at the beach hut. Comfortable bed too. Resort staff was helpful and nice. For our 10 day stay, the unit met our needs....

I like the old-Hawaiian feel of this condo/bungalow. Many of the other condos are 'updated' and have lost their Hawaiian charm. A pleasant plus, it has been updated with air conditioning, not sure it was absolutely necessary in August, but made it easy to sleep at night. All the appliances were updated and in excellent working condition. There were absolutely no issues whatsoever. My adult son slept on the foldaway bed/couch, and it was plenty comfy for him.

We loved staying in this condo! We have stayed at Kiahuna Plantation three times and this unit has been the best for our family! I especially like the location being downstairs with easy access to the short walk to the beautiful beach! The unit had everything we needed, and we especially enjoyed the air conditioner! The patio is looking at the twin bridge, the beautiful landscapes, and is close to the laundry room. I highly recommend this place! This unit had umbrellas, boogie boards, a cooler, and beach chairs. The communication was great with Mark, and we had no problem with check-in. We will definitely stay at this condo again next summer!

This condo is very nice and has air conditioning which was nice for sleeping. We would turn it on and close the windows so that any noise outside would not be a problem. Although it does not have an ocean view, you are steps away from a beautiful beach which we enjoyed on a daily basis!

This property was in a wonderful location with lots of grass and tropical plants everywhere. A tropical paradise. There was a small beach directly in front with towels and chairs available. Parking was close to unit and lanai was open to big grass area, perfect spot for morning coffee. The freeze even had ice packs we could use for the cooler. There were beach chairs in the unit that had really seen better days, but were useable for north shore beaches. The unit itself was a good size and the bed comfortable. Although I didn't use it the tub was very deep, great for soaking. I am short and the shower head was fixed and sprayed awkwardly for me to rinse my hair. It would be perfect if they had a hand held one. The only problem we had was that the towel booth closed before we got off the beach on our last day so had to leave them in the unit. Also, we couldn't figure out how to start the dishwasher. On the plane home, I realized there is a wall switch by the garbage disposal and I think it was for the d/w.

This is our third time staying in this unit. We love the view of the gardens (those giant trees!), all supplies for a day at the beach, short walk to the best beach on the island, comfy bed, cosy living room, close to restaurants and shopping, walking everyday in the area, close to the heritage trail, turtles and monk seals, helpful friendly staff. plus much more.

This was our third stay in this unit. It’s all about location! The building is small, only 4 units and it is very quiet. Love being on the ground floor with a sweeping view of the grounds and bridge. The air conditioning is a big plus, but we only had to use it a few hours in the late afternoon when the sun hits the lanai. Thank you for another enjoyable stay!

The air conditioner was not working upon arrival, appears to need new remote. The air conditioner could not be adjusted the entire time we occupied the unit. The door lock was also not working needed new battery. Unit needs to be updated.

The positives were: such beautiful, well kept grounds at the Kiahuna Plantation Resort and friendly and helpful staff. One staff member...a security person...helped guide us in the night by phone as our GPS seemed not be able to connect. The staff helped with our luggage both upon arrival and departure. The sunny, sunny beach was fantastic, albeit with pretty rough waves.A perfect location for a home base.Loved the split unit air conditioner in the living room.It worked very well and was relatively quiet compared to a window unit. With the oscillating fan the air went into the bedroom easily. No bugs all, lots of hangers, extra pillows, deep bathtub, great shower.Towels were in very good shape and plenty. No musty or mildew smell even with all the humidity!Bed was quite firm and supportive. Many things inside were not up to the standards we've experienced in other rental sites where we have stayed. Since this was our first time using VRBO we wonder if this is common. Here are our comments: We were told by the staff that cleaning would be done after we left when we found no cleaning supplies...just carpet spot remover and stainless cleaner.Tables had glass tops. We had to buy Windex. No general all-purpose cleaner, no rags. Just vacuum, broom, dustpan & toilet brush.Carpet was stained. Got rags to clean stains & showed very soiled rags to office; a full cleaning needed soon.Kitchen not very well stocked. Many missing things we commonly find in other rentals were essentials like napkins, salt & pepper, oil, plastic wrap, foil, extra paper towel rolls (there was but one and it had just about 1/4 left on it).Dishsoap dispenser & dishwasher rack were wonky. More places needed to dry items inside. Most door knobs recessed & no strips of hooks on any walls; just one lone hook in the bathroom.Hung much of our items on outdoor furniture on lanai. Condo is showing its age; wood trim & doors, drawers in bathroom showing lots of wear.Sliding glass door really hard to use as it slid very poorly. Much noise heard from upstairs guests. The rental fee & cleaning fee seemed on the high side especially considering the above mentioned concerns. All in all a decent stay though the condo was not up to the standards we expected.

This is a very comfortable condo on beautifully kept garden grounds with an easy walk to their large sandy beach and warm ocean water. Chairs and towels are part of the amenities. The beaches here are visited frequently by monk seals and green sea turtles, which adds to the beauty of the area. We had a rewarding and very relaxing week here.

This unit was so nice. It had all the amenities needed for an amazing week on the island. The owner was very responsive and have great suggestions for dinner spots. This unit is in such a private and beautiful spot, we would sit on the patio in the evening just enjoying the surroundings. The Air conditioner was so awesome to have since a few days were a tad humid but the fan in the bedroom was so great, I ordered one from Amazon on line while there. I would definitely recommend this condo and we will be back for sure!!

We really enjoyed our weeklong stay in this unit. The condo was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. We occasionally heard our upstairs neighbors but it was never a problem and we prefer be on the ground floor where you can walk directly out onto the lawn and down to the beach. Although there is no ocean view, the building is at the top of a slight slope so you have a really lovely view of the beautiful grounds and open areas leading down to the ocean. We love staying in Kiahuna and would be happy to return to this unit again. Mahalo Mark! :-)

This was our second time in this unit. It is clean and comfortable. It had everything needed for our stay including beach chairs, umbrellas and a small easily carried cooler. The bed is comfortable. Our host was communicative and available. The grounds and our view was beautiful with friendly helpful staff,. There are open areas, incredibly huge trees. You are walking distace to a great beach that has swimming, snorkeling, bobbing and even surfing lesseons. All of this on the sunniest side of the island.

This was a return ten day stay for us in unit 65, and it was as nice as our previous stay. We enjoyed the lanai with a lovely private view of the well kept Kiahuna grounds. The newly installed carpet was a treat, as was the recently installed air conditioning. Although we have always enjoyed the island breezes, it was nice to have the air conditioning in the late afternoon and when the trade winds died down. We were forewarned about advanced restaurant reservations, so were able to eat twice at Keoki’s and at La Spezia. Due to Covid restrictions there was no Hanapepe Art Night on Fridays, but t he beach and the Poipu sunsets were enjoyable as always. We have stayed in a number of different buildings and units in Kiahuna, and building 12 unit 65, is the best location.

We were happy with this property. We chose for the location and the ground floor and we weren't disappointed. There was a brief miscommunication regarding check-in procedure but it worked out fine. You can easily walk to both Kiahuna and Poipu beaches. Also the resort doesn't have it's own pool but provides access to the athletic club across the street. The resort does itself a disservice by not playing this up more. The club is spectacular! Wonderful kid-friendly pool with plenty of chairs and shade with cocktail and food service from the attached restaurant which is superb. The best food we had. We had a great time here!

This place was great for our family with small children. It was mid way between the Popiu Athletic Club and the beach where we split our time. The unit was clean and nice. The kitchen has the essentials for cooking a few meals during a stay. We loved it.
