We had a great time! The bungalow is well-appointed and has everything you need. We really enjoyed the beauty of the grounds and being within walking distance of the beach. We also used the gym and pool, both of which were great. Would have loved to stay for a few more days!

My husband and I stayed at the Kiahuna Plantation condo 144 and it was everything as advertised. It was decorated super cute, the bed was comfy, we made good use of the washer/dryer and it had a lot of extras such as beach equipment etc.. We enjoyed sitting out on the lanai in the mornings and being on the first floor made everything easy on arrivals and departures. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything!

The condo was clean and well decorated. It had all the cookware,bakeware, dishes and eating utensils you need in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the lanai had plenty of outdoor furniture and a beautiful setting

I stayed here with my teen daughter, my mom & aunt. It was a wonderful vacation & the condo was perfect for us. The washer & dryer came in handy, especially to wash our towels. FYI, the property charges for clean towels.

Very nice condo, with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing beach vacation. The lanai is a bonus, giving you extra room to spread out. Only a short walk through beautiful grounds to reach a well maintained beach front, restaurants and shopping. We had a minor mechanical issue during our stay that was promptly resolved by the owner Susan, who was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Definite pride of ownership on Susan's behalf.

We enjoyed our January stay with our two children, ages 5 and 6. We have been to Kauai three other times and we stayed at the Grand Hyatt each time. While we love the Grand Hyatt, we appreciated having a separate bedroom and kitchen in this unit. We didn’t cook much in the room but having the tools in the condo to cut up a mango we bought at the store was delightful. We used the beach chairs and umbrella provided by the host at Kiahuna Beach. The unit was in great condition, tastefully decorated, and we would not hesitate to stay there again!

Kiahuna Plantation is a lovely place - very family-oriented and relaxing. The grounds and the beach are beautiful! This unit is in a very nice location within the resort. The building sits on an angle from a parking lot which gives the lanai a partial view of the parking lot and beautiful grounds, and a distant view of the ocean through a frame of majestic and well-maintained trees. We thought it was lovely! The parking lot is not busy and there are shrubs to provide a privacy barrier. The barbecue grills on the property were brand new well-appointed grills that were cleaned and maintained daily. The unit itself is nicely redone and decorated with a lifetime collection of personal family vacation home touches (pictures, books, etc.). All of this made for a nice experience. My only critique is that this unit really only sleeps 2 comfortably. My husband and I had the king bedroom and my two teen-aged kids used the sofa bed. The quality of the sofa bed is not sturdy enough to accommodate regular guests and the frame has broken down from use. Every time one of my kids moved while sleeping, the frame squeaked very loudly! There were portions of the mattress at the foot of the frame that were falling through the frame.. This led to nights of restless sleep. But hey, we were in Kauai on one of its most famously beautiful beaches! We took naps on the beach!

So nice that Susan has boogie boards, beach umbrella and beach chairs to use!
The condo is so thoughtfully decorated with Hawaiin art and relics.
Our boys were grateful for there being 2 tv’s and air conditioning after a long day at the beach.
Another perk to Kiahuna plantation is that the athletic club is within a 5 min walk and available for Kiahuna renters. (Pool, athletic equipment, tennis courts/basketball courts, kids club etc)
We loved our stay and would love to come back!

The unit had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable. We able to make great meals when we wanted as the kitchen was well stocked. The place is very comfortable with chairs and umbrella for the beach.

This condo perfectly fit our needs as we explored Kauai. The back patio was a perfect spot for afternoon sun and relaxation, as well as breakfasts in the amazing fresh air. The washer/dryer were put to good use! It was all the comforts of home. And the beach was a short walk!! Will definitely stay again.

We stayed 3 weeks at this property and loved it. It is perfectly located for access all around the island and in my opinion Kiahuna Plantation is the prettiest property in Poipu with a wonderful beach, green space, and perfectly maintained garden grounds. The house is lovely with soothing colors, fun decorations, a comfortable king bed, dresser, closet space, vanity drawers in the bathroom, coconut shampoo/conditioner/body lotion, and well stocked kitchen with everything that you need. It even has beach chairs, boogie boards, and an umbrella. This unit is rare in that it has air conditioning and a washer/dryer. The private lanai has extra space since it is a corner unit on the first floor and it feels like a house instead of an apartment. The lanai has seating for four at the table, 2 lounge chairs, and an umbrella so it is usable all day. You can’t go wrong with this rental.

Close walk to the beach and a pretty nice place. However, the pull out mattress was unbearably uncomfortable. Not only did it squeak at the slightest movement, but the center of the mattress is a sink hole for the body. It would be easier to sleep on the floor. So if you plan to use the pull out method, be advised.

Everything about the property description was spot on. The condo is welcoming and very comfy. The hide a bed is surprisingly soft and I slept like a baby. The lanai has a sweet view of the ocean and it’s a very short walk to, in my view, the best beach around.
We loved our stay and will definitely make this property our future destination.

Condo was beautiful inside. The lanai leads right out to the grass area which leads you straight to the beach. Plenty of parking and partial ocean view. AC and an washer/dryer made the trip a breeze. I've been going to kiahuna for 36 years and would easily stay here again.

We loved staying here! Nice spot where you can easily walk to Kiahuna (or Poipu a little further) beach. It includes cards for beach towels that you can get at kiahuna beach and a really nice grass area overlooking the beach. Chairs are available at the beach and in the condo. Also the condo had boogie boards and an umbrella. Nice to walk across the street to Little fish coffee in the morning although I’ll warn that you should expect a line there. The athletic club is also a nice spot and included. Would recommend this place!

This was the perfect property for us. The location, the setting, the amenities... everything. The pictures of this place on vrbo were good, but they did underestimate the reality, in a good way. The space was exceptionally clean, and the views from the lanai were great. I would highly recommend this place. That said, the one downside was being surprised by a $200+ cleaning fee that was due when we checked in. I feel that should have been included in the original cost, and not thrown in last minute. No one likes $$ surprises like that when traveling.

This property was absolutely wonderful! The condo had everything that we needed for a great time in Kauai! The Lanai has a wonderful view! The property is quiet and relaxing. A very short walk to the beach, there were chairs, umbrella, snorkeling gear and other beach necessities to bring!
Central location, easy to drive north up to Princeville, Hanalei and the Na Pali coast or west towards Waimea Canyon! Great communication with the owner Susan! She was very helpful and accommodating! Easy walk to Poipu Beach where we got to see the sea turtles coming ashore to rest in the evening! Condo is decorated so cute! Such a great stay! We’ll definitely be back!

Susan's unit is absolutely perfect (I don't think I've ever used this word in a vrbo review) for a couple looking to enjoy the paradise that is Kauai. It's impeccably furnished and outfitted with everything you'll need. It's conveniently located walking distance from a plaza with restaurants, general store and coffee shops. You can sit on the lanai and enjoy looking at the beach just a few hundred yards away across the manicured grounds. We had a great time and would love to visit this unit again.

This is a charming unit in a lovely property in Poipu. Well equipped with Beach supplies for two. As the name implies, it is plantation style and had expansive beautifully maintained lawn. The trade off however is no pool other than the Poipu Athletic Club across the street. If you won't miss having a resort pool - than this is a great fit. Restaurant onsite is still closed.
