Ideal for a relaxing stay. Weather perfect with daytime temps in mid 70’s. Facing the large common lawn and ocean, you are a hundred yards from the beach and BarBQ Area. Poipu has the best weather for the island of Kauai. Close to pools, golf and hiking, and nearby restaurants. Well equipped unit and management excellent to work so we have returned many times.

The rental had everything we needed for a week long vacation with our 2 children. They had a closet with lawn chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, boogie boards, and lots more. The hide-a-bed was perfect for our kids to share.
We did have a little confusion during check in. It was late and we didn’t realize there was 2 resort check in offices. Once we found the right office the after hour check in information was there for us.
The plantation is a fabulous place and I would highly recommend it.

My husband and I had a great time at the Kiahuna plantation. We love this particular VRBO due to its location near the beach. We were also walking distance to the Sheraton and its restaurants.

This condo was perfect for my husband and myself. Our first vacation in 24 years without the kids.
Beautifully decorated and comfy 1 bedroom condo. Kitchen was completely stocked for cooking great meals and there were lots of beach accessories available in the condo.
Walking directly out on the "Great Lawn" was an extra bonus that I didn't realize we had been missing staying in other condos over the years.
We will be back on our next "adult only" vacation.

Enjoyed your property, would like to return in the future. Loved all the toys provided. Could have used an extra fan, one there did not work and without air conditioning, was needed. All in all, nice relaxing vacation, love Poipu.

We came to Kauai for the first time and spent a magical week at this property in Poipu. I was nervous we would get hot when all the windows were open upon arrival, but the breeze never stopped! It was the most amazing weather I have ever experienced!
The beach is small but gorgeous! We could walk to other beaches and three different hotels along the shore, the gym/pool across the street, many shops and a few restaurants.
We plan to come back next year, but rent a car so we can see other parts of the island. But for our first visit, this beautiful community was perfect for a whole week.
The kids had room to run and play. Bring toys like wiffle balls and bats, soccer ball, and water shoes. There are some rocky parts in the water. The unit had awesome snorkel masks, beach chairs, and paddle ball games. You may want to grab a beach umbrella on your way if you like the shade at the beach.
The laundry facilities were clean and not far from our unit. The rental company provided new towels whenever we asked.
It was the perfect place to stay! We can’t wait to come back!!

So much fun!!! We had three units next to each other on the great lawn, it couldn’t have been more perfect!!! The unit has a remodeled beautiful decor, comfortable and cozy. Steps away from the ocean and the pool. We definitely will be returning and hope to stay in this unit again!!!

The location of this condo is great, as our two little girls could run straight out the door onto the great lawn. Kitchen ready for cooking and well supplied. Pool in the athletic center also a super hit with the kids.

We LOVE KP and this unit is great. Our flight was delayed and we got there super late, but did not get an email about late checking process, even though it was on file and had gotten several other alerts. The owner was gracious and apologetic, but I d not know where the lapse was. Thank goodness the kind and wonderful security person opened the unit for us after confirmation, as sleeping in the car was the only other option at 1 am.

We have stayed many times at Kiahuna, and this is the best unit we've ever rented. First, they kindly rescheduled our stay for a YEAR, since days before our planned trip in Dec 2020, Kauai went on lockdown/quaranteine.
This downstairs unit was on the lawn, just steps from the beach and the towel hut. Super clean, well appointed, comfortable bed, great wifi connection. We will be back!

We had the best vacation! This is an awesome location on the lawn. The kids could just run out and play at any time, which we encouraged. It is a little tucked back from the busyness of all the people at sunset taking pics right by the water but still very close and less than 1 minute walk to the beach. We didn’t even put on shoes for our walks around the property and to the beach.
The description and reviews by others are accurate. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and the activity closet is stocked with beach equipment, lawn games and indoor games too! We were very impressed. It was so clean too, so thanks as well to the cleaning crew.
We were there for 8 days and wanted to stay longer. We would definitely stay here again!

Great property that we have visited consistently for over 40 years. Unit 175 is adequate. The closets need to be cleaned out of clutter and accumulated stuff, and the pots and especially the pans could also be upgraded. During Covid, there was no outside cleaning, and I can say that generally speaking the level of cleaning in the bathroom and shower area as well as the kitchen area was not as good as in the past or as good as i hoped. However, it was no problem as I cleaned myself in my spare time. Also, there is a mute button on the side of one of the remotes that, if accidentally pushed, eliminates sound on the TV. The fix was not readily apparent.
