This is a superb Kiahuna condo. Very easy walk to a great beach which I love. The lanai is super private for a ground floor condo. A/C keeps the whole condo comfortable. Bed is comfortable. This condo has everything you need for a great stay. Will absolutely stay here again.

My kids and I stayed for a week and had the best time! #39 is ideally located with quiet lawn just outside the back door and the ocean front just steps away! The place was clean, had lots of natural light and a well stocked kitchen for anything you might want to cook or prepare. I highly recommend!

Fantastic location! Easy walking distance to beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. The condo is well clean, equipped and has a very comfortable bed! the end unit location provides for great ventilation and virtually zero foot traffic past the lani for added privacy.

We loved our condo location and everything was perfect for our four nights stay! The bed was firm, but comfortable for us. We loved the sounds of birds, all of the beautiful flora/fauna and the views at the beach were lovely. The condo grounds are gorgeous!

Exceptional, remodeled unit with perfect location -less than two minutes to the beach, and comfort. We are visiting Kauai and Kiahuna Plantation for 20 years and stayed in may units; this was definitely one of the best stays.

We’ve seen almost a dozen units on the property and this is one of our favorites. It’s nicely updated, well equipped, very clean and only a short walk to the beach. This unit has two working AC units (which is a rarity). It’s also as the end of the building in a greenery corner so it’s quite and more private than many units. I would stay here again

The property was very clean and tighty.You have everything to cook meals and wash dishes, all the comforts of home.Didn't know about the towel, dish clothes, and wash clothes situation. Very close to the beach which was very nice. The grounds are very well kept like a park or golf course.I would definitely recommend this condo to other people.

LOCATION-LOCATION Everything was so nice a 2 min walk to Beach and Ocean .. You can Surf , snorkel and kick board . A 10 min walk to see the sea turtles coming in to rest on the beach . This was truly amazing …

Condo was very nice and we enjoyed the stay. One of the reasons we chose this property was the beautiful pool that we assumed that was on the grounds of the property. The pool was actually across the road at a athletic club. We had a car so it was no big deal.
The kitchen was the best equipped I have ever seen in a VRBO property.
Overall we had a wonderful stay at the property and Kauai.

First let me tell you that Randy is a 6 star when it comes to communication. He is on top of all the communications and does t make you wait. The property itself is great and my few complaints and they are pretty minor in the scheme of things are: there is zero storage area for your pantry items like cereal, chips, etc. We were able to hear our neighbors through the louvre windows at night but they were all respectful and went to bed at a decent hour and lastly the toilet is really situated in an odd spot - nothing Randy can do, but I felt like I was in a French bathroom with zero leg room. Lol. Other than that the property is very close to the beach, clean and updated. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping and minutes from two golf courses. If you want a cute getaway this property fits nicely.

The Kiahuna Plantation landscaping, and it's location at one of the best beaches in the island, make for a fantastic stay every time! As described by owner Randy, unit 39 is clean and relatively quiet and secluded, as it is at the end of a little landscaping cull de sac. Ground floor, with a little bush/tree shielded yard of the lanai.

Fantastic spotless condo! We enjoyed a very comfortable 40th Anniversary stay at Randy's Kiahuna condo #39. The location is ideal and very quiet. Loved the comfortable bed and air conditioner ( for those of you wondering, the A/C isn't in the pictures, but rest assured, it's there and it works very well ! ). Randy was also very helpful with restaurant suggestions. Very hard to leave!

This is the best location for a small family, the beautiful garden area gives a lot of room for the kids to run around and play and see the roosters and other birds.
Also the Air conditioning was a huge plus for my family.
The unit is very close to the beach and the towel hut is right down the sidewalk from the unit.
I will definitely stay here again when we return to Kauai.
Randy was very responsive and accommodating to any questions we had.

Location is perfect, short walk to one beach and plenty of restaurants. Unit is close to the beach and on the ground floor, right by the office. We arrived too early to check in but they let us store our bags in the office so we could go to the beach while we waited. Only feedback would be the beach gear situation. Beach towels are provided by the resort, one relatively small towel per guest. Same with chairs, but they aren't the kind that are easy to move so if you want to go to one of the other beaches, you can't take those with you. The umbrella was nice to have though. Overall we had a great stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Randy’s unit. We loved that we could catch morning sun on the private lanai. The kitchen was well-equipped so we had everything we needed. Just salt & pepper though, no herbs or spices as someone had mentioned, so be prepared for that. We’ll pack some of our own next time. The mattress was heavenly—not too soft, not too firm. The beach club across the street is so cool, and the food at the bar & grill was delicious. We definitely plan to return.

The condo is clean and comfortable, and the grounds of the resort are well-maintained. We were grateful for the air conditioners as it got quite warm a couple of days. The king size bed was very comfortable! The kitchen only had salt and pepper... no spices were there. We wished the pool was closer, but it was not a big deal as we enjoyed the beach. The beach was beautiful, and having chairs and towels available right near the beach was very convenient.

My sisters said the condo was spotless and everything work as they should. They loved the ground floor, the patio and the easy access to the beach.

We loved this unit. It's location was super close to the Plantation check in office which made it super easy to get to after a long flight! The unit is perfect - the patio felt very private and opened onto a large garden area. We were super comfortable in the unit and would definitely stay here again. The owner was super nice and accommodated all of our needs. If the unit is available, rent it.

We enjoyed our private lanai and the condo had all the comforts of home plus the beautiful view and the island breeze.

Great location for a South Shore property by having many options in walking distance. Sandwiched between the Sheraton and the Marriott, and being a short walk across the street from a small shopping center, and a slightly longer though still short walk to Poipu Beach and Brenneke's allowed for many dining/drinking options without having to drive anywhere.
The property itself felt like a nice resort with the added amenities of having a closet full of beach gear (i.e., snorkel gear and fins in varying sizes, umbrellas, etc.) and a fully stocked kitchen, with dishwasher.
The grounds property is lovely green grass, plants and trees with this condo being a short walk to the beach, though the beach itself is very narrow with most people opting to stay on the grass, especially during high tide. The waves are high at the beach fronting the grounds making it a good beach for those interested in surfing or boogie boarding. This is not a snorkeling beach.
Check-in and out was easy and the front office is near to this condo, so convenient. Parking was never a problem in front of the building housing the condo.
The only thing to note is that as all guests have their windows open to enjoy the cross breeze, so you may hear what is happening in your neighbors condos or when they are on their patios.
The water flowed nicely in the shower and the sinks and having a ceiling fan in the bedroom and bathroom was also a nice touch. The bed was large and comfortable and the bath towels were thick and luscious.
The owner was communicative before my stay (wasn't needed during) and helpful in answering my questions. For those interested, you can buy a fresh flower lei at most supermarkets on the island.

Randy made booking this property incredibly easy and was available for any questions. It ended up being a perfect location as my parents had booked the condo one door down. Easy access to the beach and seamless check in and check out. Easy to walk to restaurants, gym, and coffee and conveinience shops!

This condo is comfortable and classy. It is really just steps away to the shore and BBQ with a view. There is no better condo complex nearby either. Owner is straight forward and easy to talk to. We splurged and feel it was totally worth it.

Overall there's not one bad thing you can say about this condo. The kitchen supplies and cookware are top knotch and have everything you can think of. Everything in the condo is up to date. We were there on our honeymoon and are definetely looking forward to going back

Location Location Location. The Kiahuna Plantation is the only place we will ever stay when we visit Kauai. The property there is so perfect. There is the beautiful green grass area right next to the beach for relaxing, and then most amazing sand beach for tanning, swimming, snorkling, sunrises and especially sunsets. WE DID IT ALL! The barbeque grills on the green belt were great for cooking steaks and fresh fish. One night we cooked steaks, made baked potatoes, and a delicious salad after shopping at the Kola farmers market for fresh fruit and vegtables. We sat on the beautiful lanai overlooking the georgeous gardens and watched a movie on our lap top. Sooooo much fun.
Then theres the condo itself, It's decorated beautifully, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had beautiful granite countertops with goergeous cabinets, it was well stocked with all the kitchen ecentials..The bed was great and they had plenty of fans to keep us comfortable at night. The bathroom was very nice too. Having a real shower makes all the difference. The only thing I wished is that we had a view of the ocean, we were only about 2 minutes walk to the beach, but the beautiful condo made up for that.
The town of Kola was the perfect town, everything you could possibly need, great local food, very nice local people everywhere we went.
Randy Nordstrom, the owner was great helping us to plan ahead and answering all of our e-mails and phone calls.
I can't stop talking about our trip. I can't wait to go back. We will stay again and again I hope!

Our June 2010 stay here was fantastic! The unit was located just a quick walk from the beach and featured a part-sun/part-shade patio that allowed everyone in our family to be comfortable. Our 4 year old and 1 year old loved the huge grassy lawn off the patio and made friends with many neighbor families. We were really impressed by the decorating and updated style. We would definitely recommend this unit and plan to rebook for our next trip to Kauai. We have seen other units at the Kiahuna Plantaion and they did not compare to this one!

Excellent experience--this condo was nicely decorated, well located and within a beautiful setting! I would recommend the Kiahuna Plantation to all travelers who are visiting Kauai. Also, you can shop around for better deals as I extended my vacation by 5 days and was moved to another beautiful unit for a more favorable price. Was wondering what kind of special pricing would be availiable if renting for a full month?

The unit was everything we hoped it would be and more. The owners provided everything we could possibly need for our stay, even down to a cooler and boogie boards for the beach! It was a well maintained property and working with the owners was a breeze. The beach that is accessible from the resort is very pretty and you get to watch surfers most of the day and see an occasional monk seal too. I would highly recommend staying at this unit, the cost of the property is very reasonable in a much desired location. The resort is directly accross from the Poipu Shopping Village so any shopping (or dining) you would want to do, you can literally walk there...there is even a Starbucks! If we ever return to Kauai, we will definitely book this property again!

Randy, can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay at your condo! It was perfect for us! The condo is beautiful and we felt right at home. It was all you said it would be. We loved being so close to the beach and to all the great restaurants nearby, especially the Beach House, Castaways and Keoki's Paradise. We golfed at several beautiful courses and drove around almost the entire island. Kauai truly is paradise! Thanks for all your help...we'll always remember this special trip.

We were lucky enough to find this beautiful condo in Kiahuna Plantation and are so grateful we did! The owners have done a remarkable job remodeling the unit so that it is bright, open and airy and extremely comfortable. We found the location ideal for our family vacation and loved it so much I would like to make this an annual trip. The owners were amazing to work with and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. We actually had to rent another room at Kiahuna for our last night in Kauai, and the difference between that unit and this one was night and day. Unit 39 was far superior in every way - we can't wait to return!
