I know some reviews complain about the outdated-ness of this property HOWEVER everything was exactly how it was pictures. There were no surprises with the property. It’s conveniently located next to a bunch of food options. Pools and beaches nearby. Less touristy than some places. The only thing I would add is that the security said we didn’t need a parking pass (it’s in the process of being handed down?) and that if we parked in the assigned stall we were fine. Not a huge inconvenience to go track someone down but was kind of nerve wracking that the info was unclear. It was fine in the end and we enjoyed our stay. Ample amounts of dishes and silverware if needed. We had an unexpected power outage that impacted a lot of the north side and the host was quick and informative with responses. Staff at the place were generous with things to do while we waited out the outage. We’d definitely book again.

We had the best time! The location is beautiful! The ad represented the property perfectly! Everyone we met here were wonderful. Check in was simple and had no issues at all. We were even able to stay an extra day. Our host was very gracious. Thank you for opening your place to us!!!

What an awesome and beautiful location. Away from the busy city. We loved that it was so close to the beach at turtle bay and the amenities. Everything was a close drive away. Lots of beaches, the Polynesian Cultural Center, grocery store, waterfalls, everything was perfect. This was a great place for the cost.

Check in process was very smooth. The condo was as listed and very clean. There are 2 air conditioners, but we didn't really need it due the breeze. It was so convenient to have laundry in the condo, but it was low on detergent. As others have stated, the lighting could be better as it was very dim. We discovered on our last day that the dishwasher did not work, or we just couldn't figure out how to use it. Our friends stayed at a condo just a few doors down, and had the same issue. Although they paid slightly less than we did, this condo was much more updated, comfortable, inviting, had better furniture and more amenities, and a more responsive owner. We would definitely stay here again!

Positives, it was close walk to beaches over by Turtle Bay and was nice that thick beach towels were provided. The condo was clean with a well stocked kitchen.
Overall, but is in serious need of an updating, and needs to have all of the lighting redone. New and working lightbulbs, it was so dark at night with the minimal lights all on, could barely see. Some lightbulbs were burned out or missing or just not strong enough to even read a book anywhere in the condo. The tv was so small we could barely see or hear it from across the room. Went by 3 times in 2 days to try to get a parking pass but no one was ever there. Needed code to access the pool, which wasn’t provided.
The bed sheets were thin and curtains could be replaced, and the bathroom fan should be cleaned and or replaced because it sounded like it was on its last legs.
Photos on the listing are misleading because it has a lot of photos of Turtle Bay, but it is clearly Turtle Bay adjacent.
After paying so much for host and cleaning fees, it seemed like a lot that we were asked to wash dishes, empty trash, wash the sheets and towels. There weren’t enough towels provided (for 3 people), and only one tiny kitchen towel, so we used beach towels for the shower and paper towels for the dishes.
It wouldn’t take much to drastically improve the feel of the condo with better lighting and a couple small fixes.

This property is not in the best shape. The cabinetry and bathroom door had water damage. The shower insert is weak and you feel like you're going to fall through the floor when standing in. The carpet was old and dingy. There was only a small lamp in the bedroom. The A/C in the living room had a hard time cooling it off. The pull-out mattress was stained and so thin there was no way to sleep on it, so we used the air mattress in the closet, but it deflated every few hours. The place has potential but needs some TLC.

This is a clean, mostly well-kept unit, in a beautiful resort setting.
Pros-nice North Shore location, gated, nice walks and resort amenities nearby, best set-up kitchen we've been to in a while.
Some things we didn't like as much:
Outside noise made it less than peaceful. Twice the upstairs rental was moved in to after midnight, lots of luggage going upstairs and rolled on floor; first night was drunks talking loud near pool at 1:30AM; loud groups talking at 3AM; upstairs units AC is about a foot from the bedroom window, so you hear that going on and off all night. Pool is very near, so you will hear kids playing all day into evening. Neighboring balcony woman liked to talk on speaker phone loud enough to be understood for hours at a time. Maybe if you are used to apartment living these won't bother you.
Unit desperately needs more lighting. No lights at all over dining table. Entire LR only has two weak lamps. Kitchen has bulbs out and no hood light.
Really no beach gear at all. I know they can't promise any, but this unit has less than the last 10 Hawaiian rentals we've used. Is a couple chairs and an umbrella too much to ask for?
Mattress is less than ideal. A nice unit should have a better bed and mattress.
I have written more about the bad things not because they outweigh the good, but because they need more description and clarification.

Thanks for having us. Wonderful location, kids loved the pools. Wish there was equipment for the tennis/pickleball courts. Only downside is there needs the be more lighting in the main living area, when the sun goes down it gets dark in the condo. But that’s minor. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved being so close to Sunset Beach and Ku’ilima Cove. The property manager was wonderful and dealt with some minor issues promptly and fairly. Needs some minor improvements and TLC, but was a great value for the price. The condo was well outfitted with everything you would need from beach chairs, coffee filters, detergent, soaps, etc.

Our first time in Hawaii- this property was clean and quiet which was a nice change from waikiki. We were still able to access the beach near the hotel and it was just a short 15 min drive to the north shore shops and activities.
The home has all of the necessities for everything you might need. We loved it!

I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. The carpet has been well loved by beach feet, but it’s easily overlooked by safe a peaceful neighborhood. Restricted access community is a nice layer of safety. Very central to everything on the north shore. Lots of cool beach walking without having to drive. 5⭐️

My husband and I loved this property. It was the perfect size in the perfect location for the two of us. It was a quick walk to the beach and a quick drive to any stores or restaurants. The host was very quick to answer when we had questions. I’d definitely book this place again.

The location of this property is well situated if you want peace and quiet while close to a large resort. It’s also not too far from other attractions on the North Shore. My only con is the home owners rules and lack of availability of the HOA office. They weren’t available to pick up a required parking permit/pass. Other than that, the property is as listed. It was great to have a pool right across the street. A 5 minute walk to Turtle Bay for dinner was easy and convenient for us.

The condo was comfortable and very clean. Anything that we needed, Sophia was very responsive and quick to help us. She also was flexible with us on checkin. Picking up and dropping of the gate entry FOB was the only thing that wasn't bad, just a little out of the way. The condo has a washer dryer which was a lifesaver. It was very close to everything-trails, beaches, food and the very nice TurtleBayResort. The only negative is the bedroom gets sun first thing in the morning and gets a little hot and the a/c struggles to cool it. I would suggest room darkening insulating curtains for that room. Otherwise. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking to do things in Turtle Bay this is a good location. 10 minute walk down main road to resort, beach, beach house restaurant and hiking trails. Unit is downstairs and front "bedroom" side is face parking lot. The back porch area is next to a road but across from a pool. Had small issue picking up remote for gate as had to go to a second location in the middle of a surfing event and traffic was crazy. Got in room and no coffee pot. We notified owner and she had us a new pot in 24 hours. I guess former guest had broken the pot and nearest wal-mart is an hour away. Screen door on front bedroom was off track and looked torn. Bed was a little shot and woke up stiff in the morning. We did have a great time in the area using this as our base.

Great location with ease of use - walking distance to the hotel for sunsets and cocktail hour. Great snorkeling on-site. Our girls did horseback riding and hiking on the trails. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful vacation to unplug!

Great property- Well stocked kitchen, secure parking. We would definitely stay in turtle bay again! Only slight inconvenience was that you have to turn the key fob in to a home about 10 minutes away, otherwise, everything was easy to access. Walking distance from nice beach.

Sophia was very helpful and communicative. It was me & my fiance's first time in Hawaii and we were visiting for a friend's wedding. The location was great as it was near the venue and so close to other activities that we could check out during our downtime. The AC unit in the bedroom was a lifesaver and kept us cool throughout the night. Kitchen had all the supplies we could need as well. We would gladly stay here again!

Hawaii is beautiful and turtle Bay is a luxury resort, but this unit is not luxury. It allows you to be close to the north shore, BYU-H and have incredible beaches, but the unit itself is quite lacking. We tried the pull-out bed upon arrival and it was broken… So my teenager had to sleep in the master bed with me. We turned on the AC unit upon arrival and it blew barely cold. When I asked about it the manager came and checked and said it was fine? Having it cooler outside than inside the unit is not air conditioned if you ask me. We were allotted only one roll of toilet paper for our week long stay so don’t forget to pick some up on the way. This place is outdated and needs a good handyman to fix the details. If your looking for a place to stay on a budget you’ll get what you pay for. If you want luxury, go ahead and skip.

Location was perfect. I was dropping off my son of at school and it was a perfect spot for being on the north shore but accessing other parts of the island as well. The kitchen had everything we needed and the accommodations were nice. My son slept on the hideaway bed and said it was fine. Sophia was easy to get ahold of and responded quickly. Would totally recommend this place to a friend!

This was our third visit to Oahu and by far the best condo we have stayed at. Sophia is a great host and made the check in/check out process easy. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The washer/dryer and AC were a major plus! Not only is the condo located in Turtle Bay, but only a short drive to the beautiful beaches of North Shore.

Really nice apartment with A/C in Kuilima/Turtle bay resort area. Communicative hosts made sure we arrived safely.
Super clean...easy access to the beach...QUIET & RELAXING...food and bar options at the turtle bay hotel (5-10 min walk)...or in the neighboring towns of Hale’iwa or Lā’ie (10-20 min drive).
Overall: AMAZING & would return in the future.
