We had the best time and stay here! The condo was spotless and communication was so easy. The view from the Lanai was amazing!!
The beach towels and chairs were perfect for us to be comfortable at the beach.
We enjoyed the pool each afternoon and loved all the activities (hula dancers one afternoon, turtle talk in the morning). There is a sweet kitty on the property who also met us at the pool each afternoon which we loved!! There are some BBQ areas we didn’t utilize this trip but would in the future in a larger group.
The kitchen is adequately stocked and included coffee, filters, peanut butter and some spices. We cooked breakfast a few morning and felt at home doing so.
This was an excellent location in order to check out the South side beaches, Haleakala and road to Hana. We hope to stay here again in the future as we truly felt like we were in a home away from home!

Kamaole Sands is located conveniently a street across a beautiful beach for swimming and within a 10 to 15 minute walk from restaurants and retail. The unit was spacious for our family of four and included all the necessary supplies and tools for comfortable living. The property itself seems a bit dated but grounds are very well kept.
The downfalls included our checkin process as owner does not allow early checkin. We arrived early at airport on a long flight and attempted to check in at 1:00pm.
but unit code was not activated until 4:00pm.; even though condo was ready to be used.
Too many rules at the pool with a security at all times: no alcoholic beverages, no speakers, no balls, no blowups, no jumping.
Master bedroom has a a manual portable ac unit which turns on and off all night. It is EXTREMELY DISRUPTIVE if you are a light sleeper but it keeps you cool.

This is a great condo in Kihei, Maui. It is very clean, modern and quiet. The communication from the property managers was fantastic. The complex has beautiful landscaping. The pool, hot tubs, grilling area and tennis courts are well maintained and very nice. This condo is within walking distance to the beach, plus close to restaurants, shopping, etc. I would recommend this condo if you are making a trip to Maui.

Kamaole Sands is such a beautiful complex!! The grounds were impeccable and well maintained and our unit was very clean and well equipped. Communication was excellent from the day we booked right through till departure and would definitely recommend!!! We hope to get the chance to return one day!

Our family of 4 really enjoyed this rental. The rental was clean and well stocked with towels. There were not many spices or cooking oils, but that was an easy fix. We ended up extents our trip a couple of days, and the process was very easy. The only thing I would recommend is to have waterproof mattress covers on the beds. One of my boys spilled a cup of water on the pull out mattress and it was a bummer that the mattress got wet.

Loved the condo and location! Pool and hot tub were super busy so didn’t use the tub as much as we would have liked and the AC was loud in the bedroom but otherwise we were happy at the condo. Great communication w Todd the manager and easy parking and secure access to building and location! Can’t beat central Kihei beaches, walkability and sunsets!

This condo is in the perfect spot on the property- view of the ocean and the pool. The beach is right across the street and the condo has chairs, coolers and an umbrella for use. We saw 4 sea turtles while we were just standing in shallow water at the beach! The property offers fun things to do - we took a free tennis and spec tennis lesson and there was hula by the pool one day.
The condo itself has most everything you’ll need. The kitchen has all the equipment to make meals easily. Definitely stop at a grocery store on the way from the airport- food is expensive! You can also buy alcohol of all types at the grocery store.
We had some questions and Todd and Emily at Maui Vacations were super responsive and helpful.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Rental and coordination on everything was super easy. Our stay was as expected. Unit is very well maintained, has A/C, and the bathrooms, and kitchen are remodeled and nicely decorated. Kitchen has a full complement, and newer appliances. View was nice, and no issues with loud neighbors. Easy access to Kamaole III Beach.

Somewhat disappointed in the air conditioning system. Stand-up in bedroom is loud. We had to have the main area airconditioner have maintenance come and fix it. The unit was in transition between new owners and several times we attempted to let the new owners do their final, but was never a good time for them. Kind of an irritation, but overall we had a fabulous time and would definitely return to stay at Kameole Sands!

People say that first impressions matter, so if that's important for you, I can attest that we had the very best one renting this place. First, let me say that the communication with Vacation Maui, specifically Todd, was effortless and effective. For example, we loved receiving their email just before our stay with the tip about Costco/Safeway nearby the airport; we did just that. Once we got to the rental, the apartment was spotless, super clean! The decor and the kitchen appliances are top-notch. The balcony view is fantastic; by the way, the balcony was my favorite place in the apartment — sitting and enjoying the magnificent Maui sunset from there was priceless. We had everything we needed at the apartment and more, from washer/dryer machine to beach towels, cooler, chairs, board games, and books. If you have a car with you, the rental comes with one designated parking spot. Still, the condo's location is excellent; the beach is just across the street and, nearby, there are food trucks, restaurants, and SUP/snorkel/ice cream/açaí/coffee places. We really felt as we were at home and enjoyed our stay as much as we could. We were sad the time just flew by us; we could easily stay there for a whole month. The listing was very accurate to the online description. The only issue were that the handles were broken on the portable cooler for the beach, BUT with an easy email to the property manager they had a new one brought to us within the same day of asking. The property was clean and the grounds were so beautifully kept. We can not wait to come back!

Absolutely loved this condo and the property is beautiful! The condo had everything we needed- beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and snorkel gear. Lots of grilling areas and large tables for the 12 people in our group. Right across the street from the beach and close to restaurants. Property owner was great and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Great view, pretty well appointed unit with plenty of stuff to take on your beach visit. Like many places on Maui, Kamaole Sands didn’t have central A/C when built, but this unit is reasonably well equipped with a wall unit in the living room that covers the main living space well, and a separate unit in the bedroom (a bit noisy, but got job done). This condo was nicer than any of the other condos in the same complex that we saw (3 others) from other members of our travel group. Only complaint is that they program the door code to completely
Lock you out of the unit at exactly checkout time, which is annoying if you’re running bags down to your car as you check out (luckily my wife was inside still). Be careful not to lock yourself out if you’re not out of this place exactly at the minute you’re supposed to check out. Overall very nice, and we’ve now stayed here twice. Great views of pool and ocean.
