This is our second stay at the Kiahuna. We enjoyed the space and the air conditioning in this particular unit a lot. Plenty of room for our family with 2 tweens. Not a far walk down to the beach or to the athletic club. Kim, the renter, provided lots of good tips and recommendations.

We had an overall positive experience during our stay. The unit was clean & well equipped with everything that we needed. Unfortunately, the electric range gave us a scare with a malfunctioning element, but we unplugged the range & reported it to maintenance immediately. I would recommend this unit as it does have AC & well appointed, updated interior. My only recommendation would be to update appliances to newer ones. White electric stove shows age, white dishwasher is extremely loud & some of the pots, skillets & pans are scratched, scorched & bit greasy. Normal wear & tear type issues that can be easily addressed. We've used this unit twice & didnt encounter issues first time, thats why i rebooked a second time, 6 mo later. It is so close to everything & saw no insects or creepy crawlies.

We had a wonderful time at the Kiahuana. The condo was great, definitely appreciate the air conditioning. It would have been a little loud at night and in the mornings if we had to have the windows open but instead it was cool and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked and I especially appreciated decent pans and sharp knives (rare in rentals). We would definitely rebook!

My son and I stayed in this lovely condo for 5 nights. It is even better than the pictures. It now has a large sectional sofa in the living room. It was immaculately clean. The kitchen was very well stocked with anything you might need for cooking. The beds were very comfortable. The lani was very private. We were happy that it included a towel service. We checked into a different condo for our last 3 nights and it had a terrible odor of mildew. There was not a trace of odor in Kim's unit. Kim was a very gracious and helpful host.

Overall, this was a really good property. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and eating supplies. The eating area is roomy and comfortable. The living room area is large with comfortable furniture. The beds are comfortable . The cleaning people did an excellent job and they supplied us with new stuff regularly.
As we arrived late, mngmt did a good job on arranging for us to get in.
They do a terrific job on making things easy.
I used the gym a lot and it is great, if a bit of a walk, lots of equipment and very clean.
On the down side, if you have people in the room above you, it will be a little noisy, but you can’t hear it in the bedrooms.
This is an excellent value.

If traveling with infants/small children, great place to stay. Appreciated the pack n play, high chair and baby gate for the stairs. Makes packing much easier. Close to the beach and pool. While close, neither are right there. If the grandparents had joined, most of them would have struggled with the walks to the beach. It was not a problem though for us with a stroller for the baby. I enjoyed the walks.

What the ad doesn’t mention is that this is the furthest away from water. Two level condo with bathrooms on one level ended up forcing us up and down dark, steep steps too many times. Condo is nice layout bout dated and dirty.

We have been to Kauai several times, and we typically stay in Poipu. The location and beach at this particular property is right in the middle of where we like to be. The space was great! Having the bedrooms on a different floor than the living room and kitchen was ideal for putting our son to bed while we stayed up a little later. We will be back in Poipu before too long, and will definitely check this property when we do.

If you are looking to stay in Poipu in Kauai this is the best location. Walking distance to beach, pool, shops and restaurants. The condo gives you towels at the beach and pool which makes life so much easier and the beach front is amazing.

The location was perfect - 2 minute drive to Poipu beach (best in Hawaii) and across street from Poipu Shopping Village which has great restaurants. Dry easy to get to anywhere in Poipu from here. The Poipu Atheletic Club was beautiful and has so many activities. The living room is huge and we enjoyed morning coffee on the lanai while appreciating the birds and wildlife in the palm trees and yard. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was amazing, close to the beach and Sheraton resort. The only review warning was the advertisement that it sleeps six. The place is definitely large enough for six but only had bed for four. There are cushions for two additional beds to be made up on the floor in the living room. For expectation management the place is wonderful and I highly recommend you stay, I would absolutely book again. Caveat, if the living room sleepers are children, should be fine. I would have been disappointed to pick the short straw in my group of adults and had to sleep on the floor on my vacation. My back would not have forgiven me.
