Plethora of restaurants in less than 5 minutes. Beautiful beach and the grounds were a pleasure to walk through. I believe there are bbqs but no idea where. The living room is an excellent size and general accommodation is clean and spacious. Highly recommend.

The unit was decorated well and clean. We knew going into the trip that there is no air conditioning. Reviews said that it cooled down nicely in the evening, so we went ahead and booked it. Sleeping was quite difficult as it didn't cool down in the unit until 2 am or so. There were plenty of fans provided, but we are accustomed to sleeping in cooler temperatures. Expected more of a breeze to move through the unit.
Quick access to the beach, shopping, restaurants, and pool/fitness club. We saw turtles every day on the beach nearby and a couple of Hawaiian Monk Seals!
It was a wonderful first trip to beautiful Kauai!

It was adequate but many small issues made our stay frustrating. Not having an AC made it hot and humid even with open windows and a fan. Master suite was nicely done however, the towel bar kept falling off the wall. Other bedroom is a dark pit. Wall paper is beginning to peel off the wall, linens were old, thin and shredded. Looked like an old hospital blanket. Closet filled with box of old port a crib parts. Twin bed frame felt unstable and rocked side to side whenever I turned over. There is a hot switch in that room and until it was discovered we couldn’t get any fans or lights to turn on. There is no overhead light and it is like a dark, hot cave in there. Not comfortable! It felt old and cheap. Sofa bed upstairs is old and broken, the left side mattress support is completely ripped through, so the mattress sags to the floor. Dining chairs don’t have a pad under the legs so when you try to scoot the chairs there’s a very loud scraping noise on the tile. We stayed for 9 days, we were given only one dish towel & cloth. Housekeeping only came once on day 7. Things were getting pretty nasty by that point. Hallway shower drain cover is not secured in place and slides off the drain when you stand in the shower creating a huge hole. Kept having to replace the drain cover so my kids didn’t get hurt. Many of the beach supplies are old and in disrepair. Trunk on porch is filled with beach chairs with ripped covers, broken umbrellas, etc.

We had a great stay at Kim’s property. Everything listed was accurate, clean, easy communication & went smoothly. No AC but she has plenty of fans that help. The boogie boards and sand toys were great to have. We rented snorkel gear from the beach hut and had a great time. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the beginning of June. While in Koloa, we tried 3 different beaches and walked by a 4th. This was our favorite for playing in the sand and our kids playing in the waves. The bottom is mostly sandy with some scattered smaller rocks. This makes for a very easy entry for snorkeling, without the crowds of Poipu beach. Other beaches had a wider variety of fish and calmer water, but with much more difficult and rocky entries, resulting in scraped legs. Bonus: no urchins here! The beach hut was awesome to have so that we could pick up clean beach towels and not have to wash/ reuse them daily. Staying right across from a small shopping center was nice as well as being such a short drive from the larger Kukui'ula shopping center. We went to both places several times. The condo has all the cookware you could need, even a small rice cooker! I was very surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked. One thing to note is that there is a lot of noise from groundskeepers during the day, doing leafblowing and other maintenance. Since we didn't have a napping baby, it wasn't a problem. The landscaping is beautiful! The roosters will wake you up at 4am, but you'll be on mainland US time, so that's not too much of a problem, either. Our contact with the property manager was frequent beforehand and VERY clear. I couldn't have asked for better. We visited the Poipu Beach Club twice and the kids enjoyed the pool, waterslide, and hot tub.

Wonderful two story condo in the beautiful Kiahuna Plantation resort. No ocean views, but the garden views on the two patios (one upper and one lower) were great. The gardening in the entire resort is amazing. In addition to the beach (which is a short walk thorough the resort), we really enjoyed access to the athletic club. Pool was great for kids, and we also played pickle ball and used their gym equipment. It’s within walking distance, but we drove back and forth too. The club has great food too, and none of the long waits you sometimes get at other restaurants. Make sure to try the “Little Fish Coffee”, which is almost across the street from this condo.
Working with Kim (the host) on the rental was a breeze too: super responsive and helpful. Will definitely be back!

We traveled to Kuaui with not just my family (4) but my parents (2), brother and his wife (2) and friends (2). This was a great unit for us all to have Christmas dinner in as there is ample seating. Kitchen was nice and open to living area which was also great for entertaining. Everything was very clean and the bed was super comfy in main bedroom. My kids liked there room as well as they could make it "dark" eith the shutters for sleeping in. Boogie Boards were also well receieved for beach fun.

Our family stayed here and had a great time. the pool is perfect for kids and a very short walk from the condo. It's also great that the there are restaurants and coffee shops across the street. The unit is nice and what you see in the photos. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the king size mattress is pretty bouncy and uncomfortable. I emailed the owner and she's going to replace it. If it was replaced I would totally go back to this unit. Everything else was great.
