The condo was clean atn comfortable. We had all the amenities we expected and then some, kitchen was well stocked, lots of appliances, beach gear and towels. The view and the constant breeze through the rooms were the best part, it was just so lovely. As a bonus the gardens of the property were spectacular.

Condo & grounds are so lovely. View from lanai was amazing. Condo is well stocked with all amenities you need. Coconut Mall is 2-3 minute walk for food/grocery shopping entertainment. I like location of Kapaa, central for exploring north /south island. I want to come back!

This property was even better than advertised! The lanai was beyond belief, very large, great furniture and a fantastic view of the immaculate grounds, pool and the ocean…..we enjoyed many hours out there and loved hearing the ocean waves.
The interior of the property was better than advertised as well. Other than being very very clean, it was very well equipped…..we felt that we were missing nothing. The owners were fantastic too. I had a little trouble accessing my phone internet to get the email codes needed right before we arrived….Lina texted and phoned me back right away to help. I would love to stay here again!!

The description of the unit was advertised as exactly stated. The location is great and the balcony view of the ocean was beautiful ! The unit is nice and clean but dated. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was nice and clean. The kitchen was small and lacked cooking ware. That being said, I would stay at this unit again.

We have stayed at Lae Nani before, and love the property and grounds. This condo was excellent! We loved the space and having a second half bath was a great feature. Good views from the lanai across the pool to the ocean! Hope to return again! Mahalo!

Our stay was everything we hoped for and imagined. From our third floor condo and lanai, we had unbelievable views of the pool, grounds, and ocean--blue sky and breakers and surfers and fishermen on the beach. The condo itself was well-furnished and equipped, and although we were often out and about, taking in the islands sights and dining spots and happenings, we did enjoy meals, especially breakfasts, at our place, And the view and pool and beach, of course. The complex is also just a short walk from Coconut Marketplace, home to restaurants and shops and a food market and coffee shops and a notable shave ice place and a bike rental store, and twice a week, a farmers market where we could get fresh local fruit and vegetables. As a bonus, a three-minute walk from our condo, on the beach, is Lava Lava, a restaurant and bar and perfect place to watch the waves, and day become dusk, and people enjoying themselves.

Can't say enough about our stay. Million dollar views, so convenient to some great restaurants and shopping, super helpful host that went above and beyond for us after loosing a condo once already in HI due to mechanical issue, heated pool so windy days its still sooo nice, great grounds and super clean condo!! Breezes are heavenly on the patio and through the condo! Hope to be able to stay again!

The hostess is very sweet and was accommodating to us to add on an extra night. There is a brand new shower that is gorgeous, and the lanai is very enjoyable along with the outdoor property. Great restaurant lava lava is right next-door very family friendly . The unit itself and some furniture could definitely use some updates, but was clean and comfortable aside from being warm without AC- there usually is a good breeze at night. Pull out couch mattress unfortunately was not comfortable. Laundry room was handy.
We would recommend aside from the above notes .

This was our 2nd trip to Kauai, unfortunately for only 5 nights this time. We wanted to be central as we like spending time in the north and south areas of the island but also close to the airport as we had an early flight. We like to "Happy Hour" at Lava Lava and Oasis by the Sea which are in walking distance. Also walkable; Safeway, ABC breakfast and Sushi Bushido. Personally, I feel this was the perfect location for our family. Can't beat the view from the lanai, the well-maintained grounds and the shower was great for tall guests. The laundry facility was convenient; $1.50/wash and $1.00/hour of dry time in quarters. We will definitely stay here again when we hopefully return.

Two adult siblings stayed for a week of quiet nights; the layout of the condo, with separate bedroom and sleeping sofa in the living room, offered privacy without isolation. The patio was fantastic! All in all, this property offered the “aloha” landscape for a wonderful week of the constant sea breeze (with floral fragrance) through the open windows, the view of nearby seashore as backdrop for sunrise and morning coffee on the patio, and a welcoming haven after a day of hiking, snorkeling, kayaking, and swimming. Nothing could have been better for a week of recollection and sibling companionship— except that mom wasn’t there to wash dishes in the well-stocked kitchen! Thanks, Lina!

This 1 bedroom with king bed + 1.5 bathrooms was very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed morning and evening views from the balcony. We really appreciated the quietness of the complex, made it easy to appreciate nature. Kitchen perfectly stocked. The pool was a great size and perfect temperature, don't change a thing! Great spot, we will definitely be back!

Loved our stay at Lae Nani. I’ve been visiting Lae Nani for the last 25 years. It’s a favorite as you might imagine. I have stayed in this unit before and the views can’t be beat. The unit itself is comfortable and we look forward to returning again. Communication with the property owner was excellent. We had a little hiccup with the internet and it was addressed immediately. The condo unit was great for our young family. The pool is wonderful and the beaches close by offer swimming and good snorkelling. The owners were very responsive to all questions / requests.
The location on the island also allows easy trips to the north end and south end of the island which is what we enjoyed - we were able to stay at a great place but also adventure around the island.

The fabulous view is exactly like the photo. Interior was very clean and up-to-date. Lanai is large with two lounge chairs plus a small table with two bar chairs. We spent a lot of time on the lanai! The grounds are beautiful - the best we saw on our many walks. A great sandy beach with good waves for playing in. Lots of good areas for walking, and short driving distance to many small local restaurants, which served delicious food! All communications with host were prompt and helpful. We had a wonderful time. Thanks so much!!!

Check in went very smooth, the place has an amazing view and full kitchen. Laundry on premises coin operated. Beautiful pool and gorgeous ocean view directly from the patio. Bed is a queen size. 2 bathrooms. I would def stay here again. Great location of you want to venture north and south.

Lae Nani was home base for traveling around the island to spend time in various towns and beaches, making it easy to head North or South.
The property grounds and amenities were beautiful and well kept. The unit itself was as described, older and a bit outdated, but clean, well cared for, decorated in the island style, and with new amenities where it mattered like bedding, shower, and kitchenware. We used the pull out couch for our 12 and 15 year old and it was comfortable enough.
We are used to AC but decided being right on the water was more important. The ceiling fans and open windows were enough to cool us to sleep at night. Plus, we just sucked it up knowing how great it was to sit on the deck and watch the waves even if it was a bit warm at night. If you can’t suck it up, you might want a place with AC. Beaches were nice around complex, but it will depend on what it is you want to do. We snorkeled some in the little inlet and played in the water. Did not find them ideal for body boarding due to some rocks but other people did.
Lae Nani was a quieter condo complex with other respectful guests. We did not encounter loud noises or people leaving messes. Parking was always easy to come by. We would come back and stay in this unit again! Our happy memories will include our stay here.

We loved this condo. It had everything we needed for a 10 day stay, including beach towels and toys. The location was wonderful- very nicely maintained grounds with plenty of space to spread out. The pool was huge and the beach was really fun. Lots of restaurants and amenities were walkable. We will definitely be back!

We ended up checking our after our first night as it was 83 degrees inside at night with every window open and fans on. It was too hot for our 10 month old to safely be sleeping for the night. We called the owner the first morning and she told me she would call me back. More than a week later she has yet to return the call. We were happy to try and work something out but she clearly was not. While the unit has a beautiful view and location is good, the unit is extremely outdated

We enjoyed this condo very much. Was clean and roomy. Kitchen and bathroom cabinets could be replaced they were in rough shape and some broken. However we didn’t spend much time inside. The beach out front was lovely. There was a lava beach club restaurant next door that had amazing fish tacos that you can eat right on the beach. Parking was always available. This was a quick unplanned trip We go to Hawaii a few times a year. And never been to this Kauai. We were not disappointed. We would absolutely revisit this condo!

My husband and I don’t usually stay in this area of the island and decided to try something new. What a great decision! We loved the location, close to the airport and in a town with great places to eat. Very central for any day trips. But the condo was the highlight! Love that is has such easy access to the pool and beach and great breezes to keep the condo cool. Very well stocked with anything you need to cook as well as items for the beach.
When we got there it was late and very dark but the directions for getting and and finding everything were so detailed we had no problems. In fact, there was another couple there trying to find stuff and we used our directions to figure it all out. Made the process very easy.
Only cons: lots of stairs. Didn’t bother us but if you have mobility issues, it’s on the third floor with no elevator. And if you are at the pool and need anything (including the restroom) you will be doing lots of stairs. Also, my suggestion would be to replace the queen bed (which was a comfortable mattress) with a king size. Room has more than enough room and for it.
I knew it was a queen going into it, but after sleeping on a king for years, I now know I won’t book a room with a queen size bed again. Just a personal preference but I wonder if it limits your bookings.

The only negative for me was there is no elevator, and no bathrooms at the pool. If you have any mobility issues, which I do, made it really difficult to enjoy pool for any length of time due to having to go up 3 flights of stairs to use bathroom. Otherwise, very clean, fabulous views, good beach for swimming and surfing. Every morning I sat on balcony and watched sun come up and early surfers out on the water.

We've had a very pleasant experience staying at this condo at Lae Nani. It was very convenient, located close to bunch of activities (kayaking, mountain tubing etc) that we did. Best of all were the views of the ocean! It was such a relaxing thing to sit on the porch with a hot cup of coffee and enjoy the views!!
Lina made sure that everything needed to checkin was provided beforehand with easy instructions and she was very responsive when I had any further questions.
Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to book a place here.

This is an outstanding place. The location, the views, the access to all of Kuau’i is amazing. We cooked 90% of our meals and the kitchen was excellent. We had great access to the north, south and west of the island from our central location. We will tell everyone about Lea Nani.

My friend says "when you have little kids, you don't go on vacation, you take trips." Well, even with our active 5 and 9 year old, our time at Lae Nani felt like a real vacation. Everything was set up exactly as we needed, for beautiful breakfasts on the lanai (with a view of the humpback whales frolicking daily!), easy family dinners, beach fun. The keiki beach and pool are marvelous--everyone at Lae Nani is so friendly, the pool was never crowded; the staff was attentive but not too attentive. We walked to Hukilau Lanai for an amazing meal, and got shave ice at the mini-mall too. The condo was super-clean and very comfortable (great bed!), the kitchen well-stocked with pots/pans/dishes/utensils and great for our family, since our 5 year old has life-threatening food allergies and we need to cook in for her a lot. We fell asleep to ocean sounds at night, woke to mourning doves on our lanai. We were so sad to leave!
Also: we didn't discover it till the last day, but it is amazing to watch the sunrise from the heiau (sp?), sacred site on the property. All in all, a great place to stay.

My wife and I stayed at this unit during our anniversary trip. This unit is in an excellent location for sight-seeing and obtaining supplies such as groceries and going to out to eat. We arrived late the first day and the first view from the lani when we awoke the next moring was breathtaking. The pool and grounds are very well maintained and look like a resort setting. The unit is very comfortable and the largest of the 3 places that we stayed while on our vacation. We would not hesitate to rent this same unit in the future and the owner was very helpful with general questions about vacationing in Hawaii and everything was as described in the photos and write-up. The beach directly in front of the complex is good for swimming but, not excellent due to rocks in some of the areas.

We had a two week stay in September. Lae Nani is hands-down the best condo/resort complex to stay in the Kapaa area and Lina’s condo is an exceptional value. The pictures really do not accurately convey the beauty of the place.
The condo itself is very spacious with exceptional views of the ocean, pool and swaying palm trees. The ocean is much closer than pictures from the lanai portray. The condo is very clean, the kitchen has been updated with painted white cabinets, new bathroom vanities, and new carpeting throughout.
The grounds are very well maintained, the pool is clean and gorgeous. There are 3 complimentary gas grills next to the pool. The complex is also very secure. Entry is controlled through a locked gate and there is an onsite 24/7 security staff.
Overall, I highly recommend Lina’s Condo at Lae Nani. We had a great time and will certainly return.
