We considered it ideal. The property is up a little hill with the patio facing west. We had beautiful views of the ocean and sunsets. The beach was just across the street, which allowed for easy morning walks along it. The condo was clean and had many items for your use that were thoughtful. i.e. beach chairs, beach umbrella, a cooler and even a boogie board. It was smallish and the circuits kept tripping when we tried to use both hair dryers at the same time but I would highly recommend it.

We had the best stay at kihei Akahi apt D515 this passed week. It’s our 3rd time staying in the D building which is located at the top of the hill and the 5th floor view from the Lanai makes waking up in Maui so amazing as well as the sunsets. The apartment is located all the way down at the end of the building which offers beautiful views of Haleakala from one of the bedrooms
All of the amenities were perfect and often used, the beds are comfy and the grounds and services are on point. One helpful upgrade would be to add a couple Tommy Bahama beach chairs as the ones available there are pretty old, beat up and hard to carry down to the beach with other beach stuff.
We will be back again and will seek out D515 for sure.

We loved our stay. We really liked the amenities available wish it would have stated on the about room. Cooler chairs umbrella. We traveled with a lot of our own but would have saved the hassle. That or I just over looked it when booking. We would definitely recommend and stay again. We enjoyed the easy access to several beach’s as well as shopping and food venues.

This was really good place to live for 5 days. It was bit expensive but felt worth it. The 2nd car parking was a problem since they charged for parking the visitors place too. Overall I would recommend it, if it comes for less of a price.

We love the location of the property-close to the beach, back to the beautiful mountain, great views. My dad loves watching whales every morning from the balcony. Plenty amenities for the whole family to stay. The unit is clean and has plenty of bed sheets and towels to use. There is only one AC unit in the living room. The master bedroom can get hot during the day even with AC on but we are out most of the time during the day so it did not bother us that much. It is pretty comfortable during the night though even without AC on. Overall, we enjoy our stay in the property and the property was managed well.

Great location,enjoyed the sunset right at the beach across the street. If you plan on staying after March-April, the bedrooms have fans , but can get pretty warm, no A/C in bedrooms. The checkin is a two process step, one at the condo rental and another at the building office. Remember to bring tissues , starter kits for tea,coffee and water.
