BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.

IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

**We make no guarantee that properties adjacent to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors. Fully furnished, nice having washer dryer in the unit but everything is so verủ dated, rust around the outside of appliances, small water leak underneath the dryer. The major draw back is the lack of ac, it’s difficult to sleep even with 4 fans on all night. The condo management is very responsive, good communication.

Great place to stay with the family for a vacation! We would definitely come back to this property. Beach was lovely and right on site, pool was small and shaded but the beach made up for it. Overall great stay.

Pictures do not do it any justice. The view was beautiful! We could see whales from our balcony:) It was a couple minutes drive from either direction we wanted to go. Location was great!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this unit. Every morning we walked on the beach before breakfast and each night listened to the waves as we fell asleep. We were just a few miles from Lahaina for restaurants, shopping and excursions (though traffic getting there was frustrating). We had a lanai we could eat meals on as we watched the sailboats and paddle boarders. The unit has a functional floor plan, adequate space and was clean and fairly well equipped. The property manager checked in with us the first day to see if there were any issues. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at this property 9 years ago when we got engaged and thought we would take a trip down memory lane and stay again. Unfortunately besides some updated furniture this place has not changed. We had several issues with the suite. Shower was broken and spraying water everywhere, lamps broken and the ceiling fan in the bedroom barely did anything and the washing machine smelled awful that I reconsidered washing our clothes and just waited til we got home. Now, I have to give credit to the Maui Property Management company because they were great to deal with. Quick responses and very helpful. We had an ant problem while staying here and these little critters came up a crack in the island and were EVERYWHERE! We were diligent to remove all food off the island and ensure everything was sealed up but they kept coming back. That was a bit unsettling. Property management couldn’t do much until we left. Hopefully the issue has been resolved for future guests. All in all, this place needs some love. It is dated and worn. The view is amazing and close to a lot of different things but sadly I wouldn’t stay here again.

Over all we really enjoyed this location. The combination Garden & Ocean view was nice although the lanai was exposed to a very hot sun in the late afternoon, some pull down shades would have been appreciated. We did contact management on two occasions concerning a broken beach chair and malfunctioning toaster. Both times we were told "someone would reach out to us" but they never did. One thing the pictures dont show you is you can only open the oven door about a third of the way before it hits the fridge rendering the oven almost unusable and definitely a safety concern.

We booked this spot for the beach views from the bedroom and it did not disappoint. I slept like a baby every night and woke up happy watching the sky light up over the water. From the beach we saw a ton of sea turtles, fish, whales, and seals. The lobby is beautiful and the vibe is just perfect. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. There is a place to rent snorkel gear and anything else you might want across the street and a delicious sushi restaurant. The Beach House has delicious happy hour and is just a short walk on the beach away. Plus you are very close to everything else in West Maui.

This little condo at the Valley Isle Resort is an ideal spot for a young, or old, honeymooning couple. Wake up every morning to the warm ocean breeze and the sound of the waves coming into your bedroom. The unit is located about 50 yards from beach and a few hundred yards from a cool bar and arguably the best sushi on Maui, and a great place to rent snorkel gear. We wouldn’t have changed a thing.

Several turtles while swimming in the nearby beach, great location with the bus stop right in front of the building. Highly recommend using the Maui Bus for cheap and easy transportation.

The condo is located in a great spot with an excellent view of the ocean. Also, the breeze that comes thru the condo is a blessing on hot and humid days. The condo is spacious for two and had great bathroom! The dryer didn't work and I called property management who responded within minutes! It wasn't fixed during our stay but we were able to hang our clothes to dry. I hope to return soon :)

Very well appointed condo. The view is amazing and so close to the beach. I liked the location, we were able to take the bus to a lot of the areas we wanted to go. My only complaint is that there is no AC. Maybe it said that in the fine print and I didn’t catch it. I knew there was a queen bed and the view made up for not having a King.

Overall great experience. Only one small thing I noticed needs fixed. The dryer door has a missing handle and is very hard to open and close, other than that everything was perfect.
