BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.
IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

The view was amazing the process was easy and delightful. For our 1st visit to Maui it was wonderful just what we needed. We would love to go back next year.
Close to everything. Comfortable and quiet. Beach is close with lots of sea turtles. One hung out on the beach for half a day. Loved sleeping to the sound of the surf. Go!
Beautiful views of the ocean from the living room and bedroom. Absolutely gorgeous. Small beach - thankful there was a beach as many resorts don’t have one. Note that there is no AC but the weather was perfect and there’s a lovely cross breeze throughout the condo. Beds were comfy. Great location!
Our stay was wonderful as the condo had amazing views. We were also impressed by the fact that our unit included amenities such as chairs, umbrella and a cooler which we took advantage of when headed to the beach. We definitely enjoyed our time there.

This unit is amazing, great view, well appointed, the bed is fantastic, one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in aside from our own. We would love to come back and stay again.

We saw whales upon whales here in Maui including from the room and lanai. Whales are why we chose Maui over other islands and we were not disappointed! The view was perfect as well as the supplies, provided, a nice comfy bed, electronic amenities. Not one issue.
For whale watching we recommend Pacific Whale Foundation. Knowledgeable and friendly. One port is very close, in Lahaina and the other is about a 35 minute drive to Wailuku.
This is a great find. We visited in early January to escape the cold winter at home. We could not have had a better trip!
This spot has a small pool with a few gas grills next to it. We would often spend the evening grilling dinner while the kids played in the pool. Other guests in the building were really nice to talk to. The room has a big lanai off the main room, plus a small standing-room only from the separate bedroom. Both Lanais overlooked the ocean and have a perfect view to see the setting sun.
Our stay was during the time that Humpback whales are in the area. We could look out from the Lanais to see whale spouts and tails every day. The beach was very close. According to others that frequently stay there, sometimes the ocean washes the beach away then builds it back up again. During our stay, it was perfect. The kids played in the surf. We would sit in the two provided beach chairs to watch them play or play in the ocean ourselves. Most days we also saw turtles right off the shore.
This was a really great room that provided all the dishes and cookware we could need. The Internet was fast for streaming or doing work. The TV had cable and a DVD play, Netflix, etc.
We loved this unit, the views are amazing from your lani and beach. The location was great, close to a couple bars/restaurants and great walk to Bad Ass coffee. Not a really busy area which is what we were looking for. The unit has beach towels, chairs and a cooler which we used every day.

From the moment we walked into the room, we just loved it! The newly updated kitchen, the cute little dining area and living space, and right out to the spacious lanai. And that view. We spent lots of time lying in bed watching the sunrise and lots of time on the patio sipping coffee and later in the day cocktails.
Everything was great- cooler if you needed one, a couple of beach chairs, etc. We even left a couple of noodles for the next guests, those are my favorite when in the water. We were there for a wedding and found ourselves more often then not at the condo's beach, which is a great beach for the are of Kahana. Walking over to Hawaiian Village coffee in the mornings, lunch at Maui Brewery, shopping at the Whalers General Store, and quick snorkel gear at Boss Frogs across the street. I love this location. This is my 4th visit to Maui, my last being just 6 months ago and we stayed in the Kahana area, and I fell in love with it. So quaint, it has more of an island vibe than anywhere else I stayed. I would recommend this location and unit most definitely! And I would stay here again.
The ocean front condo with a sandy beach in front was perfect for our family vacation. It was quiet and everyone was so friendly. The beach was not over crowded - it had about 4 or 5 properties that is served - there was always space for us.
The condo itself was well stocked with kitchen stuff and even had a large cooler and beach chairs for our trips to the sand. There were several restaurants, a coffee shop and a small store within walking distance,
I would defintely stay at this location again!
This condo has a lovely view of the ocean. The interior of the condo needs some sprucing up. The bed is very, very comfortable. I did not care for the high chairs on the lanai. The pool is salt water and very easy to get into and not crowded at all. The Valley Isle is a quiet complex. I struggled with getting the TV to work but the management team was very helpful.

Location was perfect, but wish there was a bigger beach to walk on, but we are beach walking people. Location was easy to get in and out of. Unit was full of items needed for our 10 day stay. Beach items and kitchen full of cooking items (oil, seasonings etc...). Great balcony for breakfast and dinner while watching the sun set.
Place was clean, great location. However the instructions on how to access/unlock/lock the property were inaccurate. We reached out to the property manager via number provided and we were not able to get situation remedied. We were unable to lock/secure the property when we would leave. That was very concerning to us with our property and valuables inside so we left early and had to book a stay at a different location. This was explained to the property manager yet no solution was suggested.
