First of all Maui paradise properties are very communicative, which was great. We absolutely loved the vacation rental. All the supplies you would need are there. They provided a small bag of coffee which was delicious. I would brew a couple of cups a day & sit out on the lanai & look out to the beautiful ocean. We slept well, the bed was comfortable. Although, the a/c was only in the living room, the ceiling fan kept the bedroom cool. Papakea resort is fantastic, beautiful grounds, feels like you are away from the “crowd”…The location is great— food trucks nearby, a farmers market store which has yummy banana bread, a coffee shop. Also, there is a place down highway 30, you will pass heading to papakea resort called Leodas which has yummy pot pies & dessert pies. Anyway, this location is one i would recommend, still close to the Lahaina downtown wharf area with all the shops & cafes & Whalers village etc….

1. Washer & Dryer smelled of bad odor. Wet linen was left in it by housekeeping.

3. Limited no. of hangers in the closet.

This is one awesome place, really well maintained, a great location within the Papakea complex and a fabulous view.

The unit was lovely, furnishings were very nice, and the view was excellent.
We had a few hiccups: the washer isn’t working due to a part on order but it was not communicated. TV in bedroom is not working. We asked for more towels and they were delivered promptly.
All in all it was a very nice vacation.

Nice condo with ocean view. Good size for a couple with small children (who can sleep on fold out couch), we rented a crib the the 18 month old. Nice amenities at the site, which is well maintained. Property management company and site management responded quickly when we reported a maintenance issue.

We spent every meal on the lanai listening to the waves. The pool was wonderful, as was the Thursday early evening drinks, snacks and music near the pool. Helpful and friendly staff.

This was, unexpectedly, a really nice place to stay. Location was good for a small community condo. I personally don’t like the seven stories 10,000 people packed on top of each other resorts. The space inside was comfortable, breezy. We kept the window and the door open and we didn’t need AC at all. It’s not a five star hotel, but it has everything you need at a reasonable price.

No beach in front of the property and the A/C is a small noisy window unit stuck in the front wall by the deck. A/C does not reach the bedroom where you need it and you can’t sit on the deck while it is on. Other wise the property is extremely well maintained and the unit is itself nice. It could use a new mattress. Parking was easy and there is food and markets within easy walking distance.

This is a very comfortable resort close to everything you want and need. Lively but not crowded or noisy. This condo is very comfortable and well located in the resort. It had everything we needed. We’ll come back again.

We loved the view from balcony overlooking the ocean and pool. Very convenient short walk to grocery store Time Market across street and ABC Market. Everything we needed and liked the elevator to location on third floor. Would return again. Also parking was conveniently next to our unit. The whole Papakea complex was beautifully kept up..Hatd to leave.

The view from this condo at Papakea can't be beat. But, there are many issues which effect the comfort of staying here. My husband and I have been to Maui countless times, staying in many condos and have never stayed in one that is so neglected in so many ways. The beautifully remodeled kitchen is overshadowed by the abundance of ants crawling everywhere. It is evidence that the owner is aware, since there are many ant traps in the cupboards and on the counters which do nothing to deter the ants. Thank you for the additional ant spray under the sink. I love making meals in the condos but never felt comfortable being able to leave food or a utensil for longer than 30 seconds. Also, the "air conditioner" is very, very noisy and totally inefficient to reach into the bedroom. The screen sliding door makes awful noise when sliding it. We got out the fan in the bedroom closet to help in the bedroom at night but the dirt caked on it caused us to scrap that idea, in disgust. The 4 cup coffee maker was way too small and the kitchen items were insufficient for common use. To top it off, the morning we were leaving we saw water covering the hall floor tile. The water heater was leaking out of the bottom. We notified two different entities at Papakea about the situation prior to checking out. If you don't care about the condo, just the view, this is the place for you!! We spoke with many other guests in the pool and we were the only ones experiencing the ant situation.

Needs new mattress,air conditioning[way to loud],tv in bedroom never worked and ANTS-ANTS-ANTS.Tender loving care was missing.The parking is terrible.People are fighting for a spot.This resort is good for families not so much for adults.View is very good but from 7am on its LOUD.Most of my comments have been voiced by others in past couple of years.Bang for your buck is lacking.

The unit was not clean prior to our check-in. I spent the evening (after a long flight) cleaning the linens and unit. The AC is a small but extremely loud window unit. It only cools 25% of the unit so we slept on the floor in the common room because the bedroom was too hot to sleep in.

Very clean room and view. There were not enough dishes to serve our family of 6 for dinner. Also the pots, pans and silverware were very old, outdated and mismatched. The cable wasn’t working in our room and they did send someone right over to fix it. Much appreciated. Overall beautiful place to stay except entertaining in our room was a disappointment.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this unit and the whole resort property. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The wifi router was not working at first but someone was readily available by text to help. Check in and out was a breeze. The property is located very close to many beaches and shopping centers, and we could also access hikes. Overall a wonderful stay and we would live to come back again.

My husband and I were really looking forward to a time of relaxation after a very difficult year. Maui did not fail to deliver! Our stay at Papakea K306 was perfect! This is the best place ever to stay -the views are fabulous! You can sit on the lanai and watch the whales playing in the ocean right in front of you! (Whale season)
Only thing I would note -is the bed is not the best... It is very firm – but very old. All in all though -this is a fabulous place and the rest of the condo is updated beautifully! Mahalo to the owners for sharing their slice of Paradise with us!

Everything was as promised. From the communication to the welcome champagne we were treated extremely well. The view from K306 was spectacular from the first morning when we walked out of the bedroom walking towards the balcony and all we could see was ocean!! Overall it was a great property and seamless rental. The only knock against the property was the over protective security that basically ushered us off the balcony at 10pm the first night while playing cards! Apparently that was too loud? It was like a lights out call! Otherwise it was a fabulous location and great rental.

This is a very well kept up property. We were so thankful to call it "home" for our 10 day vacation.
