The house was amazing and great for a large family vacation. The house had lots of fun games for everyone, and the pool area was also very nice. The location is perfect, and a very easy walk to beaches and shops. We also really enjoyed having access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club, which is a fantastic spot for a workout and other fun activities. The property manager was great and super responsive to any questions including well in advance of our trip. She was very proactive and helpful to make our stay that much more enjoyable. Would highly recommend this place.

1000/10 Stars!! This place and the property manager, Nica, were absolutely AMAZING! It is absolutely beautiful inside and out, so well kept and cleaned. It is also stocked with so many extras like beach towels, beach gear (umbrellas, snorkel gear, coolers, etc) as well as plenty of spices/oils/etc if you want to cook a nice dinner. We traveled with a group of our friends and we all had plenty of space and room without feeling cramped. It is so close to the beach and all the fun activities in Poipu, but also nice enough to just hang out there by the pool!
I also cannot say enough good things about Nica - she truly went above and beyond for us! We had a special request and she was so accommodating and kind. She also made the check in/check out process super easy and clear.
We all LOVED this place and everyone said it is the nicest place they’ve ever stayed. I hope to be lucky enough to stay here again! Thank you again Nica for all your help, we made memories that will last us a lifetime!

Our family loved this house! The house is beautiful!! It had everything we needed. The kitchen was awesome with plenty of room for all of us cooking. We all loved the pool & definitely used it lots. There was even some puzzles & a few children’s books. Nice quiet area close to beach, eating places & shopping.
A couple of suggestions: a few more towels in all the bathrooms. Also, window coverings in the bathrooms (one in the large bedroom) & shared bathroom.

I can’t even begin to say enough good things about this amazing & beautiful property! Before we even arrived Nica, the property manager, contacted us to see if we had questions and sent us a book highlighting spectacular Kauai. Nica was very helpful to answer any & all my questions before our arrival and during our stay. She was very prompt in her replies. She even recommended a fabulous photographer for our family pictures at the beach.
This house had everything from pack & plays to high chairs to beach chairs, umbrellas, towels & toys, even a nice baby stroller. The kitchen was very nice with all the cooking equipment, pots & pans and even a vita mix blender. The oversized refrigerator/freezer was WOW! We grilled three or four nights and also ordered pizza one night from a nearby restaurant. There were lots of extras like salt/pepper/spices, tin foil etc., also paper goods like paper towels, garbage bags & toilet paper. There was even laundry detergent. We’ve stayed in many VRBO homes and this one was above & beyond! The reviews do not over rate this one, it’s everything they advertise. Brian, the owner, even hand delivered a pack & play when we couldn’t locate the second one we needed.
This beautiful oasis was the perfect place for our family to reconnect. All the amenities made it easy. We had 8 adults & 6 children under the age of 5. Whether it’s all adults or families or friends, this is an amazing Kauai getaway home.

This home made our group of 16s time in Kauai an absolute dream! Our group included 4 separate families ranging in ages from 1-70 years old. To our group, having enough space for everyone makes trips/ time together as a large group work for us or not. Never once did we feel, “on top of each other”. Families came as went as needed without disrupting the other groups. Communication with the host from booking to the trip was a breeze. The home was out of a magazine kept up, clean and had every accommodation needed to make our stay comfortable. Kauai is a dream vacation spot but the home had our kids wanting, “home time”, more often than we imagined as the pool, living space and ping pong available were just the best! It was hard to leave and we are longing to come back! Thank you!!

If your looking for an amazing place to stay this is it. We had a family of 16 people stay here and plenty of room. Most places I’ve stayed before only allows minimum things to use. This place has everything you need and would want. The pool was very clean and fun. Plenty of space for everyone. We could have stayed in the house without seeing the island and been fine with it. Yes it was that good. Thank you Brian for the wonderful stay and memories we now have. We hope to see you soon.

First of all Brian, from inquiry thru entire stay, was wonderful and responsive in all communication, even when we had an urgent situation- he called me back right away and sent someone over asap to assist us! We were traveling with 3 families - children ranges from 7 to 15 and 9 adults. My brother also got married during the trip and Brian was so accommodating with all of our inquiries. This home is PHENOMENAL!!! 16 of us all had plenty of space. Both homes had kitchens that were stocked with essentials needed. There was also extra coffee, canned beverages left from past visitors, plenty of laundry needs, stroller, highchair, beach towels, sunblock, beach toys, coolers, and pool toys as well! Ping pong was fun for the kids and everyone enjoyed the pool throughout our visit after a busy day out adventuring. Location was great- close to shopping, the beach, restaurants. This stay was a gift to my parents & aunt and uncle for their 50th anniversaries and all they could say was that this home was a dream!! Brian left a small anniversary surprise on the counter for our loved ones upon arrival and they truly felt special. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful property with us!!! We'd love to come back!!

So many memories were made during our stay. We had 10 adults and 9 kids aged 7 and under and never once felt crowded. The heated pool was a big part of our stay and everyone of us enjoyed it everyday. Close enough to walk to places and in a great neighborhood. Communication was fantastic. Amenities were abundant. Never have I stayed in such a well stocked VRBO. Such a beautiful and well maintained home. We feel so lucky to have found it! Thank you.

The table was large enough to accommodate the entire family, the pool was warm, there was plenty of beach equipment and they even had a carseat and stroller! This home is perfect for a family vacation. The space is well laid out for people to have private “getaway” space, and the living area is big for the family to gather, talk, eat together, etc. The courtyard right off the living room is beautiful and provides a perfect tropical haven to retreat to after a day of phone on the island.
We loved coming home at the end of the day and being together to share about the adventures of the day.
The house is well stocked with beach chairs, towels, and beach gear which is so helpful when traveling. The ping pong table in the garage was a HUGE bonus for our teenagers. They loved playing together.
The owners communicated quickly and were very attentive during our stay. We had a small issue that they address right away.
We stay in a lot of vacation homes and this is one of the best thought out locations we have stayed. We will be back next time we come to Kauai. Thank you for making this our home away from home during our vacation.

This property is magnificent. My husband and I came with our blended family of six adult children, their spouses/partners and two grandchildren ages four and eight. Every couple/family had their own room except for the one single child who slept on the fold out couch in the guest house. I don’t know what we would’ve done if he had a partner with him. But I digress. The property was so nice that we really didn’t need to leave. And having that large of a group is like herding cats to go anywhere. I only wish that we knew the area better to have had more and knowledge of where to go each day. In retrospect, the beaches near us were fine and very small child friendly, so we didn’t really need to drive long distances, which we did a few times because we wanted to see different parts of the island. The town of Lihue is about 20 minutes away and that’s where we went to major shopping such as Costco and Safeway. But there are plenty of little markets in the area that we utilized quite a bit. We had perfect weather with one day of rain, which landed on Sunday And of course football was on. Those of us who didn’t watch football went shopping. The shopping was fantastic. Lots of cute boutiques in the little shopping area nearby. Don’t worry if you forgot anything such as a beach cover up or sunscreen, it’s all there. We didn’t even need to rent any snorkeling gear has there was plenty to choose from at this house. There are also plenty of beach chairs, towels etc.
We stayed seven nights, and I wish that we had the house cleaned halfway through. That’s just me, I like to keep things clean. I found myself sweeping and vacuuming almost every day, as a lot of grass gets tracked in from the lawn.
Here are a few of my suggestions for the property management. This isn’t criticisms at all because everything was amazing and clean and comfortable.
1. Sharpen the knives.
2. it wasn’t really clear what we should do with recycling. There is no marked can for that, so we ended up mixing it with the trash. But I did run into one person who was part of the property management and he said that if we set the recycling to the side in separate bags, That they would take care of it, but that was almost at the end of our stay. I just wish I would’ve known that from the beginning.
Overall fantastic! My favorite part was sitting in the lounge chair at night looking at the stars. And sitting in the shade reading my book while the kids played in the pool.

Everything about Hale Kailani was just perfect! The property manager Nica was excellent - very pro-active & responsive. The house itself was so well laid out & accommodated our party of 12 adults + 1 kid very well. We were in Hawaii for our wedding, and we were able to host some lovely dinners for our family and friends at the courtyard around the pool. We loved our stay & hope to be back soon!

We showed up to a BEAUTIFUL HOUSE with our family total 11 people. The house was amazing the showers were HUGE with duel heads so you can shower together. Beds were perfect and so comfy. The property was Gorgeously manicured. Kitchen is big and the lighting is nice and bright. Fans through out the house inside and out. Lots of beach toys for the kids and adults. Ping-pong in the garage (the 18-50 year Olds loved that. Just a very relaxing week and we didn't want to leave. It's soooooooo BEAUTIFUL inside and out.. Recommend TO ANY FAMILY THAT WANTS TO STAY IN PARADISE. LOVE IT

This property was built as a home, not a rental unit. We felt at home as soon as we entered. Every detail was attended to. Brian and Nica responded quickly to all our questions.
The pool was amazing. It was a great place for the kids to play. There were lots of board games, card games, beach and pool toys to keep us busy.
All this and you are also in paradise.

We loved everything about this house! It’s extremely clean and comfortable. We felt at home almost immediately. Our family of 16 also rented the guest house and had plenty of room for everyone. It’s an extra perk that almost every bedroom has its own bathroom. The beds are comfortable with nice bedding. The house is equipped with everything one might need. I rented a lot of equipment like beach chairs and umbrellas that I didn’t need because so much is in the house already. We also took advantage of the high chair and portacrib. The welcome basket is a very nice gesture that was appreciated and made everything feel even more special. The neighborhood is lovely, quiet and safe. Poipu and Koloa are our favorite areas in all of Hawaii and this home is conveniently located close to everything. Brian responded quickly to every communication and was a gracious host. We can’t wait to come back!

We were in Kauai to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren. The house, guest house, pool and amenities were amazing! The location is close enough to Poipu beach that we could easily head to the beach. There are local restaurants nearby, chairs, coolers and boogie boards for the beach, a ping pong table in the garage, crib, high chair and stroller for our youngest grandchild and we wanted for nothing! We would love to return someday and definitely recommend it as a home away from home for family and friends. Additionally, the host recommended a caterer, Backyard to Mesa, that provided a coursed dinner for our anniversary celebration and another drop-off dinner for the night before we left. Both were out of this world, but the coursed dinner was among the best meals any of us have ever had! All in all, a memorable vacation!

This was the best vacation rental I have ever stayed at! The property was simply gorgeous with so much space, tons of common spaces to hang out i.e. the living room, backyard, front porch, and the pool. The front porch is has amazing landscaping which makes it a very comforting and private place to hangout. It was also really nice to have a whole separate guest house unit as well!

We stayed at this property for our Christmas family trip. It was absolutely perfect. The communication was great leading up to our stay and everything was in order upon arrival. For such a large family as ours, this home had everything. There was plenty of pool and beach toys, rooms were spacious, and the kitchen had more than enough room for our party of 16. Having the extra house on site was perfect for those with kids. The home is also very close to the beach and shopping. We would definitely look to stay here again on our next trip. This is a beautiful property. Our family of 10 enjoyed the pool area daily. We all could sit down together for dinner and ‘talk story` about our day. Everyone had a room for their privacy. The amenities were great, beach chairs, snorkels, etc. Brian and Nico communicated well with us. This truly was a home away from home.

This house was absolutely lovely and perfect for our family gathering of people ages 5 months to 87 years. It was close to beaches, groceries, coffee, and within an hours drive of most things we wanted to do on the island. The pool was perfect for kids when is parents didn’t want to get everything packed up for an outing and the house setup with the cottage allowed those without kids to escape to a quiet room. The host was incredibly responsive when a need arose and even found us a stroller when we didn’t have one. The house has all the beach and baby gear you might need and the large fridge and double washer/dryers were a huge plus! Thanks for the hospitality. We had a wonderful trip!

This house is wonderful! It is simply beautiful and is outfitted with high end furnishings, mattresses, linens, etc. The layout of the house was perfect for our group of 13, including 5 teenage boys. The boys had a wing of the house to themselves including their own bathroom. The pool is beautiful, and was a wonderful place to come home to after a long day of exploring. One of the things that struck me the most was the lush and immaculate landscaping. You could sit by the pool and feel like you were in an exclusive resort all by yourselves. It was really over the top beautiful. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed to prepare dinners for all of us each night. The garage had plenty of beach chairs, etc for a day at the beach. If we bring our extended family back to Kauai, this is the house we will stay at. I highly reccomend it!

This is an outstanding property, inside and out. Brian was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions. We were a group of 9 and the home and guest house allowed us to spread out a bit. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are very comfortable, and the indoor/outdoor space is great. Our kids loved the pool. Lastly, there is plenty of beach equipment available. I highly recommend this property!
