This was out first vacation since the start of COVID. Checkin was seamless and property manager was always responsive and suggested many vacation activities. The property worked well for our family of 5 adults - had everything we needed for the house - all appliances (high end on he major ones), house supplies for kitchen, laundry and cleaning. Only downside was one adult had to sleep on the pullout couch - and as with most pullouts it was not comfortable after a few nights (probably would be fine for children). Lanai was very useful with view of ocean and afternoon sun.
This was our first time in the Waikoloa area - and would definitely stay here again.

We loved this condo! Such a surprise as it is even nicer than pictured. So we’ll appointed with thoughtful touches (like laundry pods and scuba gear). Extremely clean, quiet and comfortable)

We loved the location. A majority of the time there we cooked and enjoyed the high end appliances. It was nice to have all the amenities nearby. Although we had to drive to beaches, we found some beaches that were not crowded. We would stay here again.

Happy with our stay. However the master bedroom king bed is worn out and needs replacement. Had a plumbing issue, bathtub drain was clogged. Maid should have known when it was cleaned. However did get immediate plumbing help.

Lovely location- close to pool and ocean view. Condo was very comfortable and offered all amenities. Comfortable beds. Hated to leave and would definitely recommend.

Hali’I Kai 16C and the Hali’I Kai Ocean Club was a dream. The property was beautiful and the accommodations were impeccable. Loved the pool with the grandson and I loved the early morning walks on the Ala Kahakai (Kings Trail) over to the Hilton to see the dolphins. Kathy with a “K” was a hot and a pleasure at the Ocean Club. 16C had everything we needed. Comfy beds and patio furniture. Grilled each night and it was a most memorable and relaxing stay on the Big Island. To top it off, our daughter’s boyfriend proposed to our daughter at the property….it was a very memorable trip, and we and we cannot wait to return. Best trip ever!

We had the best stay. The condo had everything we could need included beach chairs and umbrellas. The location and property are wonderful and Kathy from the Club was devine!!! We can wait to come back

The property when you walked in looked like the photos, however, it lacked some of the amenities that other rentals in HaliKai have.
The air conditioning at the property will intermittently work. No matter how much you change the thermostat, sometimes the AC won’t kick on.
Initially the property provided no extra bedding. It was literally a bed sheet and a thin micro fleece blanket. Spoke to Kona Vacations who suggested we turn down the AC before agreeing to send some blankets.
The twin beds in the bedroom squeaked terribly and needed the maintenance company to come fix them.
Worst experience by far was the cockroaches in the kitchen area. We took some photos but I do not know how to attach.
Overall the experience felt like a hotel rather than a vacation rental that I am used to from this resort. I got fooled by the cheaper price but won’t make that mistake again.

We loved our stay at this property! An absolutely wonderful and beautiful neighborhood amidst resort amenities. The pool was lovely with great sunsets. And we loved the restaurant (especially the Happy Hour mai tais). Would absolutely stay again!

What a great stay! The condo had beach towels and snorkel gear for us to use, a nice convenience. Kitchen has Viking and SubZero appliances. Can see the ocean from the patio, and a very short walk to the Ocean Club! Patio furniture wasn't that comfortable, could use an upgrade. Bathrooms nice, plenty of towels. A/C was a godsend, kept the temperature at a comfortable level. Keypad entry very convenient. Bedding was comfortable. Plenty of hot water. A bit of problem with roaches, the roach traps in the kitchen were needed, recommend to keep food well sealed or in the refrigerator.

Almost everything about this home is fabulous. Especially the location in the community. The two things that I would like to see addressed to confidently rate it a five star experience are replacing the ancient blender (we make a lot of smoothies) and upgrade the old wireless router. The wireless internet network is very unstable and weak which makes working from the home difficult. We can't wait to stay here again....

The property was safe and clean. The condo was extremely well appointed, clean, and well stocked. The rooms were great and the bathrooms were lovely. We used the lanai in the morning to look over at the ocean with our coffee. I would absolutely recommend 16c and hope to get back there again soon! Location was great for all of our daily excursions.

This property was perfect for a first timer in Hawaii. Communication with the property owners was great. received all of my access information to the property on this mobile app and by email. Place was clean, with A/C ( a must have during the summer) and rather secluded because it was on the back side of of Halii Kai which is great. The outdoor patio is the center piece of 16C as it faces the ocean. It's not much but its great having a view and not break the bank. Solid A+

This was our second time staying at Hali’i Kai and we will be back for many more visits. The whole rental process with check in/out was quick and easy. The condo was beautiful and in a perfect location to enjoy looking at the ocean while drinking our morning coffee on the lanai. It was so quiet and peaceful even with other guests nearby. The condo provided everything we needed for meal prep and for a visit to the beach. The pool was as beautiful as we remembered and we took Advantage of that and the bar/restaurant almost everyday. All staff that we encountered were very welcoming and friendly. We look forward to our next trip there very soon!!!

We were very impressed with this property and condo. It was immaculate. They had everything we could have wanted for our Hawaiian vacation and more. The resort was beautiful! The ocean views, pool, and location were spectacular. We couldn't have asked for anything more. They had beach chairs, cooler, umbrella. They had beach towels. They had all kitchen appliances and equipment we needed. I loved the resort itself. We would definitely stay here again.

This is probably one of the better units at the Hali'i Kai because of the location. Great view of the ocean from lounge deck perfect for sunsets, access to a big lawn for kids to play while adults bbq/sip mai tais and just a short walk to beach club / pool / gym.

Perfect location. Close to pool, workout room, bar, and ocean. You can walk to shops but it does take a while. We ended up driving to other stores for groceries outside of Waikoloa. We had some trouble locating the parking space at night for the unit. There is no garage, just a carport which was fine. Had a little trouble with the screen door so we reported it on the day we were leaving. Unit is spacious and i liked the fact that the bedroom windows face the ocean. You can see the ocean from the lanai. Took a bit of learning to figure out the stove since its very new. Washer and dryer came in handy and there are plenty of beach towels, umbrellas etc. There is a lava path by the ocean but its a bit hard to walk on leisurely ....you gotta watch your step. A lot of stores shut down at the 2 shopping areas...but its like that everywhere. Not that this has anything to do with the unit, but we dined out about 4 times in 9 days and found food over priced and not very good...even at Lava Lava. 2 years ago this was not the case. Probably trying to recover form the pandemic and cutting costs.

It was a very short trip to the pool and the walking path to the Hilton. The property was very clean and comfortable. The bedroom was dark and cool. There were a lot of board games and some beach supplies. I loved sitting on the lanai and looking out to the water.

We really enjoyed this property. Its proximity to the pool was very convenient. Lots of nearby shopping and restaurants made it very easy to take care of our needs. Superb grounds landscaping views and access to other parts Of the western side of the big Island. We will definitely come back to this property. Thanks for the great place to stay! We had a wonderful time!
