We booked this location after another location cancelled and the host was very accommodating.The hospitality of the staff on site were very much appreciated. The amenities are great, the apartment is nicely appointed and modern. I would easily return here and if the owner ever decides to sell please call me.

It was a superb stay for us at Maui, accessibility to the beach and the views were just perfect. The house had a lot of things that we could use too like beach chairs, umbrella, snorkeling/swimming gear. The property is located centrally and has great accessibility to all the other places. We absolutely loved our stay in Papakea resort and specifically this unit and look forward to coming back to stay in this same unit next time too.

We had a truly incredible stay at this condo. Seriously the title of this review says it all: stop searching and just book here. Not only is the condo beautifully updated, but it includes so many extras that are so handy when on vacation: golf putters, sand toys, beach chairs and umbrellas, pool toys, and more. The owner was extremely responsive and accommodating. Papakea itself is well maintained and every bit as magical as it was when I was a child visiting in the 80’s and 90’s. I can’t say enough good things about this condo and Papakea in general. I can’t wait to go back again next year!!!

My wife and I have been to Maui many times and always enjoy ourselves. Staying in this condo is perfect. It is clean and open and the location in proximity to the ocean and pool and all the fun works great. I would recommend this condo rental to anyone. It is 5 star and Lisa and VRBO make your stay easy.

We had the vacation of a lifetime here. The location and property are amazing. Watching the sunset into the Pacific with whales breaching in front of Moloka’i and snorkeling with sea turtles were some of our favorite things that were available right outside our sliding glass door. Lisa was an amazing host who we hope to stay with again soon. If you are considering booking this place for your family vacation do it, you will have the time of your life.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The condo was beautiful, clean and comfortable. It was stocked with pool floats, snorkel gear, towels and beach chairs...everything we needed. The property was beautiful and the grounds were spacious, beautifully maintained and peaceful. My favorite part was waking early to enjoy coffee on the grass by the sea wall. I highly recommend staying here, u won't be disappointed!

This resort is beautiful. Well organized with a small resort feel. Very well maintained. The condo was nice with a first floor walkout to the pool and shoreline. Beautiful area to capture sunsets. The condo itself was nicely furnished. It as really nice having in-house washer and dryer. We would definitely stay again.

Great condo with everything you need! Fully stocked with everything that you could want to take to the beach. Everything you need to cook or grill. Master bed was very comfy too! Ground floor location is prime and really extends your living space! Also super easy and close pool access.

This was a 5 star stay!! There is so much to do on the island and this condo was THE PERFECT home base for our holiday vacay to Maui!! The unit is well-furnished with beautiful decor and the location is so convenient to everything you want to do around Lahaina plus walking distance to great stores and cafes (Cruzin Cafe & Paradiso Pizza for Mediterranean). When we weren’t out & about - we loved cooking meals (grills were well maintained!) and relaxing with beautiful views on the lanai! Get your snorkel gear at Snorkel Bobs! And don’t forget to sign up for the Snorkel Report from the Snorkel store! GO SEE WHALES and don’t forget to visit Haleakala!! We did a mid-day ride up during a windy day (swells too much for a beach day) and it was unforgettable!! Too much to do here for just one week!! Gonna have to come back again …and stay here at Papakea!! Thank you so much!!

We absolutely loved this place! It was a perfect location. the place is stocked with everything you would need. Lisa is amazing as well. She is very quick to respond to any questions you may have and checks in with you throughout the trip. Our friends stayed at the property across the "canal" and were so impressed with our place and its beautiful view/location. You will not regret booking this place. Everything has been remodeled and the king bed was extremely comfortable ( that is always my concern when staying somewhere). We will stay again!

Everything was great - condo was clean, well equipped and location is central to all. Beach chairs and umbrella were great! View and proximity to the ocean can’t be beat. Grounds are also beautiful. Resort amenities at Papakea were good - nicely maintained tennis courts and putting greens. Pools are nice, but can’t understand why there isn’t an umbrella to be found at the pool.since there’s no shade. With the summer sun gloriously shining, down, you can’t stay very long without any shade. Oh well overall a great find!!

This condo is all you can hope for when booking your trip. It is well located with a great ocean and sunset view. The condo is clean, with all the essentials you will need. If you like to cook, the kitchen has plenty of space, and plenty of cooking equipment. Overall, the Papakea Resort is a perfect place for couples and families.

This condo was the perfect place for our family of 4. Lisa did an amazing job with the decor, and it has everything you would need to be comfortable. We loved being on the first floor, with the sliding doors opening on to the patio, and to walk directly out to the sea wall for sunset, snorkeling at the beach below, pool, bbq, shuffleboard. We had friends staying in the K building by another condo owner, and theirs didn't compare to our wonderful and clean B109!! Helpful tips: Cruisin' Cafe has great breakfast bagel sandwiches, go to Walmart/Costco once you land at airport to stalk up on more reasonably priced items (coffee, macadamia nuts, snorkel gear, etc), walk south along the boardwalk from Papakea for great views, make your reservation at Duke's months in advance, AND you must go to Ululani's shaved ice as much as possible).

We visited for five nights (wife and two kids and I)... And this place was perfect. Great location with a grocery store, an ABC market and lots of dining options within walking distance. The property has two great pools, shuffle board courts and pickle ball which we played a lot of... We also snorkeled right in front of the property and saw several turtles and fish.... View from the deck is fantastic... The kitchen has everything needed for meal making and there are about seven or eight has bbq grills around the pool so we made dinner a couple times and watched sunset.... If I ever come back to Lahaina, I'll book here again for sure!

This condo located in a large complex by Kaanapali beach is a stones throw from the swimming pool and a few steps further to the beach wall. It's great for relaxing and enjoying the views. Papakea is a lovely resort without the chaos of high rise places near by.

This property was nicely updated, the view was perfect (part pool/part ocean). Being on the ground floor was very handy and a few steps from the pool. The air-conditioning worked well and was very helpful!
