We were very pleased with the condo and all the interior furnishings. The bathroom and kitchen are built with excellent materials and it does feel luxurious at that level. The only challenge we had is that the road is very nearby and you do hear it from the bedroom. I had no problem with this, but my partner is a light sleeper and she was struggling a bit. That said, the nearby beach at Mama's is gorgeous and actually has some beautiful snorkeling and turtle spotting opportunities.

My wife and I recently stayed here at this lovely condo in Paia. We were looking for a location that would be close to the airport for our return flight home, yet still comfortable enough for a few days of exploration and unique Maui experiences. This place was perfect for both these intents.
Only 15 minutes by car to the airport made getting to our return flight fast and simple. Traffic on the main road through Paia does get crowded though, so be aware of that. And finding street parking or even lot space for your vehicle in town can also be a challenge. Go early, before 10am if possible.
The condo itself is graciously located within walking distance to Mama's Restaurant, a beautiful beach and a great locale store/coffee shop called Ku'au Store (highly recommend!). You could also walk to the bustling business center of town from the unit, but keep in mind it will be along a busy stretch of highway without a sidewalk. Having a reserved parking space right outside the unit is a big plus !
Entry into the unit is by keyless entry code which makes it easy - no keys to fumble with or misplace! Inside the unit is quiet, clean and super modern with dimmable lights everywhere, ceiling fan over the bed, large refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, flat screen TV, bluetooth-connectable speaker, and adjustable A/C unit. A small balcony with table and 2 chairs allows eating with a view.
Overall, a wonderful place to stay and I would certainly return !

Interior was clean. Although the condo was described as "modern" the building itself looked like it was built in the late 80's/90's as an apartment building then later converted to condos.
The biggest drawback was trying to exit onto the highway. There's a blind corner on the left as you exit with traffic coming at a fast clip. Sometimes cars would cross the line over to the curb that we were trying to exit from and would swerve back into their lane when they saw us.
We stayed Fri and checked out Sunday. The condo was fine for the two days. Not sure I would stay there for more than that because of that blind corner and the traffic.

We reserved a table in advance for two consecutive nights at the iconic Mama’s Fish House and walked and literally were able to walk out the back gate of the building and be there in three minutes. We are hikers and these accommodations are perfectly situated for the scenic drive up into Haleakala National Park and the Road to Hana.

This VRBO is as lovely as the pictures if not more so. The owner gave us wonderful tips and ideas from the very start of our booking to our last day there . He was very responsive when we reached out about a light switch and stayed until he made sure it was fixed properly. He also persistently worked on ensuring we had our boarding passes when his printer was not printing properly. This place is in an amazing location, walking distance to a beautiful beach protected by coral and rocks. We saw a sea turtle in the water and on the sand. One of the bonuses of this location is that it is walking distance to Mama's Fish House, one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Absolutely everything is freshly made and delicious with great presentation. The tables all look out on the beach and the ocean and the beautiful palm trees. We had an easily accessable parking spot with free parking which was very helpful. We were close to the lovely town of Paia, with fun shops and a variety of restaurants, and only a brief drive to the airport and Costco. We would return here in a heartbeat. We had a wonderful magical trip and appreciate the owner so much!

One of the best things about the location was it was 5 minute walk to Mama’s beach. There were 4 turtles either in the bay or on the beach every day (4 days) they we were there. The was clear to be able to explore the reefs and see multiple types of fish. The code was clean, well supplied, and comfortable. Would stay there again

The condo was really nice. It had everything we needed. The only complaint is that lighting in the bathroom was poor due to bulbs needing replacement. Otherwise it was exactly what we were looking for.

This location was such a great one to start our Maui trip. It was so easy to navigate to and from. It is perfect if you are doing the road to Hana! I appreciated the recommendations on food and beaches also.

This pretty condo is well-appointed, up-dated, clean, and comfortable. The location is less than ideal, which is, no doubt, why price point is quite reasonable by Maui standards. There is a tiny beach at Mama’s Fish House, just a few minutes away, but the sand is dirty. There is a little store nearby. It’s a great spot for 2 if you don’t mind driving everywhere. You will have some road noise from the Hana Highway on the bedroom side.

This is the perfect place to be close to everything. It’s at the start of Road to Hana, in the back yard of Mama’s Fish House, and 20-30 min drive to trendy West Maui. 5 minute walk takes you to Ku’au Store for coffee, sandwiches and snacks. The apartment itself was well stocked for cooking meals. Loved that there was a blender for my morning shakes. Everything was super clean and organized. We barely used the a/c. We just left the patio door open and the fan in the bedroom going and it was very comfortable. We really felt at home. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

First I would like to start by saying that Quincy was an exceptional communicator by not only answering all our questions in a timely manner but going above and beyond to meet our needs. Secondly, he moved our check-in time a few hours to accommodate our schedule which helped our day flow so much better.
Thirdly, he conspired with my friend to surprise me with champagne and sweets. To emphasize how much he went out of his way, he lives an hour from the Vrbo location!! He was incredibly kind and truly envelops the Aloha spirit

With a spare Japanese aesthetic, this place is elegant & close to Paia (cute, crowded), Makawao, Baldwin Beach (wonderful walking & a “baby beach” for swimming) as well as the airport. Within walking distance, there’s a sweet little neighborhood beach, a small & friendly grocery store, and Mama’s Fish House. (We walked over on the off-chance they’d have space at the bar & had a truly fabulous extravagance of a lunch.)
We found certain aspects of the place less than ideal. We’ve been spoiled by ocean views in our other places. We had trouble figuring out the fancy lighting system, and the floor in the bathroom is very slippery if there’s even a little water on it. The owner responded to questions, though not immediately. It’s a good place for a couple — just a four star rather than a five.

Poor WIFI signal inside unit (bedroom was weak) along with poor cell service (clearly not owners fault, that side of the island was spotty). Seemed hard to keep bedroom cool with AC unit in living room. Walking distance to Ku’au Store saved convenience factor but very long walk into Paia if you want that especially since you shouldn’t take the Hana Hwy. Unit has all the kitchen supplies you would need though.

Our stay in Paia was great! Communication with the host was easy, we had no problems with check in or with the unit. Very clean and nice that beach towels were also provided so we did not need to pack our own. Mama's beach being such a close walk (only a few minutes) is a huge plus! Felt like a private beach and even saw some sea turtles! Would stay here again!

Quincy’s apartment is probably the most beautiful vrbo I’ve stayed in to date. The quality of decor and design is incredibly aesthetically pleasing and the location is wonderful. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat and hope to return soon!
