This studio was in the perfect spot: walkable distance to Waikiki Beach and close to bus transportation to Diamond Head and Pearl Harbor. The room was great for viewing the city and mountains; comfortable bed too. Loved the coffee shop and pizza place downstairs too!

Ash was very helpful and everything was very straight forward. The room itself was nice and tidy, just what we needed to just spend the night at and be able to go out all day. Just wish there were more pictures listed of the bathroom. Could’ve been cleaner, there were stains on toilet and trash can. Overall, my stay was pleasant and would definitely recommend this place!

We had a short and sweet stay at the Waikiki Monarch. This room is small, but nice if you don’t plan on spending a lot of time in your room during your stay (which you shouldn’t). Ash was easy to communicate with and was very attentive.

Nice view, air conditioning is important, overall clean but a few little issues came up, however the host was quick to address and resolve. There was a pretty large stain on the boxspring(this wasn’t able to be resolved and all good as we understand) but what was unusual, is that when changing the bed sheets, one would totally notice this, however we were told that they don’t lift up the mattress to check. No biggie but a bit gross and also there was a slight smell from it. I sent pics and we always check due to bed bugs. This place was free from pests and they don’t ask you to clean the place before check out. Wasn’t perfect but I would recommend this place and would certainly come back.

This unit was in a good location for us to explore Honolulu on foot. Easily walkable to local sites, restaurants, and several food trucks right across the street.
Communication with host was excellent. He was immediately responsive to all our questions.
The unit is compact but comfortable with good AC, small fridge, Microwave and stovetop.

This studio is perfect for two people visiting Waikiki/Honolulu. This location is within a 20 minute walk of everything. The condo was extremely clean and view of the mountain side was absolutely beautiful! Ash is a great host and responds promptly to any questions. He makes checking in and out easy with clear instructions. Thank you Ash for being a wonderful host!

Everything was as described. I should've read the full description/ info more carefully as didn't realize we would have to pay for parking on-site until a few days before trip, but that's my fault. Not paying for that meant LOTS of walking & hoping for street parking.
The actual place was clean & check in was easy enough. The laundry facility in the building was nice to have access to. Great food options nearby.

We stayed 2 weeks in this unit and would stay again. The location and value was perfect for our budget. The unit was exactly as described. We utilized the kitchen and BBQ area on a daily basis. It is a nice 7 minute walk to the best (less busy) end of Waikiki beach. The unit was well stocked (for our full duration) with paper towel and toilet paper. Ash was a great host, checking in with us on our stay and letting us know that he is there if we need anything. The building was also very quiet during the night and they have a lot of security. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. I would highly recommend contacting Ash and renting this unit for your stay.

Great location. We utilized the awesome public transport system to explore the island, and walked to various stores and beaches all easily accessible from this location. Room was clean, pool and spa were nice ways to end the day. Definitely would stay here again.

We were excited to stay here because of the great reviews. Upon arrival after a 12-hour flight, our shower doesn’t work. No water whatsoever. I notified our property management, Ash, after we got our stuff settled. They sent the house keeper at like 9pm finally. She said the shower previously had issues and had been fixed before. They had Home Depot come fix it at noon the next day. One of the stools in the photos is also broken so we couldn’t enjoy breakfast at the table and there’s no where else to sit besides the bed. I texted the property management on our last day to inquire about a potential reimbursement for the slight inconveniences. They said no and they are going to charge us for the repair and are accusing us of permanently damaging the shower when it was broken upon arrival. The housekeeper also lied and said that our towels were wet and that we must have showered and broke the shower which was an absolute lie. This entire situation seems like a setup and a scam. Please save yourself the hassle and DONT STAY HERE.

The studio is relatively small but space is well-used. Communication from Ash throughout is fantastic and the location is ideal being slightly out of town but still within walking distance. However, if security is a concern it is worth noting that though the lifts and pool access are meant to be by swipe card only, none of these systems are in use. During our 3 day stay there was one very volatile argument/fight in the corridor outside our room at 2.30am that lasted well over an hour - of course we don't know if this would have been prevented had the security actually been in place at the building.

Ash was amazingly responsive and his attention to detail re check in and transportation issues was wonderful. The apartment was small but fine for the two of us. Comfortable bed. Nice view of the canal. Fairly close to the beaches. Parking was quite expensive! Follow the directions Ash provides, otherwise the elevators get a bit confusing. :-) Wonderful coffee shop/bakery right downstairs.

He provided pictures to make everything simple as can be with checking in and getting the key. We only stayed one night so we just showered and slept there. Within walking distance to the beach and some places to eat.
Tried out the coffee shop around the corner and ate at the place on the corner across from the hotel for lunch.

This home away from home has everything you’d need! I loved the kitchen amenities, the bed was very comfortable, and it’s so nice to have a clean bathroom! But OH MANNN THAT VIEW! We could have stayed in especially with the A/C and stared out our window all day! Thank you so much for the great communication, Ash! The parking is convenient! Don’t forget to pay cash for the parking! There’s an attendant in his parking booth near the lobby, you can’t miss it!

The property was fine. Great location, has a pretty well stocked gym, and there are some convenient coffee shops and restaurants downstairs. The room worked great for the weekend, but the best part was having an amazing and responsive host. Ash had the best communication and was extremely responsive. He went above and beyond. I would confidently stay in any property he had listed.

We were able to walk to downtown Honolulu which is around two miles away. Nice, clean efficiency with a nice view to the east to see the mountains and still see Honolulu.
Waikiki beach is around a mile away and if you’re into high society shopping, it’s just down the road.
We had to pay for parking which was $35 cash a night but parking is at a premium in this area.
Things went smooth which made our stay much more enjoyable.

This is a studio that is perfect only for a couple. Parking is hard on first day but when you get to know the area it will be easy. Plenty of metered parking that is free from 10-6am. Owner has open communication for a worry free staycation. Would recommend this studio and will definitely stay here again.

If you’re not planning to spend much time in your room, this is a great place. Waikiki Beach, shops and fun restaurants are all within walking distance. Nice view of the canal and the mountains too.

Our stay at Ash’s rental went really well! The entire check in process was a breeze and he does a great job emailing a step by step procedure on how to check in. The place is as described. The kitchenette is a plus. The location is close to the beach and other attractions that are walking distance. The only thing is parking is $35 a day but in and out privileges are allowed. Overall our stay was amazing and we hope to return in the future.

Great value, close to beach and city center. Very nice that they had boogie boards and chairs available. Glad that I read other reviews, or I might have been surprised at the size of the room. We spent most of our time exploring, not in the room so the size wasn’t an issue for us. The owner was very responsive, gave detailed instructions on check in so that was very simple. They even helped me get an apple ear bud I lost in the room. Very helpful

This apartment was located downtown right by most everything you need, it also was centrally located for our drives to both sides of the island. It was clean and recently updated. Ash had everything we needed other than you do need to bring your own shampoo and body wash due to covid, he does give you a small supply to get you by until you can grab some at the nearby ABC store. Ash was hands down one of the best VRBO hosts we have ever dealt with from the beginning of the booking through the last day of checkout. Thanks Ash.

We really enjoyed staying in this apartment. The space was clean and ready for our arrival. It was great having the view from the 29th floor. Ash was a great host and answered any questions we had promptly. We payed $10 for security to hold our bags while we went to lunch and until we were able to check in. The building is visibly older, don’t let this be a deterrent. The apartment is updated and everything functioned properly. The bedding was nice and comfortable.
The neighborhood was close to beaches and restaurants, about a 15 minute walk. Having parking in the building was very convenient.

Overall, our stay was walking distance from everything that we wanted to go to. Although the elevator (which isn’t anyone’s fault) was a bit frustrating to figure out, everything else worked out very well. Sleeping with an air conditioner was a plus too! We would stay here again if we ever come back!

This was the first stop on our honeymoon. Check-in was easy thanks to the detailed instructions. The fact you had to use a key for the elevator and room made the building feel secure and safe. Parking on-site was a plus ($35/day) and the room had a great view of the mountains. It was a bit of a walk to the beach, but Waikiki was so crowded we found other beaches on the island to enjoy. Our only “issue” was that the room is a tad small w/o a space to put bags & clothes, but it wasn’t a big issue as our stay was only a few days. Would stay again!

First off - Ash is a great communicator and has done a great job setting up a pdf to walk through ‘how to’s’ for the property. 29th floor view of the mountains/river/ballpark below is great. Carpark (35/night) on site so no issues there even with Honolulu break in pronlems. Highly recommended. Chris/MA

We had a wonderful stay here. The owner was so helpful as this was our first time to Hawaii. One day we took a $15 cab ride to Diamondhead. We walked up it and then walked back to the condo- all in three hours time. This included a stop for shopping. Our tour to Pearl Harbor also picked us up at the condo. Great location. Easy walk to the beach and high end shopping. It felt safe and was very clean. We had a fantastic stay!

The owner, Ash is totally professional and makes sure that you have all the info you need before, during and after arrival.
The apartment is small, but has everything you need. We loved the added extras of beach towels, toiletries, cleaning products and tea and coffee.
The location is great and everything is within walking distance.
On a sunny day we also liked to use the pool and hot tub.
