Kolea is a luxury condo complex located in the prime spot of Waikoloa Beach Resort on the sunny Kohala coast of the Big Island of Hawaii; between Marriott and Hilton hotels. This is the only condo resort in Waikoloa that has a direct access to the beach. This is considered the sunniest spot of the entire Hawaii Islands and the weather here is nice a year round!

This 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom ground floor condo situated in a great location: there is no building directly in front of the master bedroom and lanai so you enjoy an improved privacy.
You have a large and safe (no traffic around) grassy area (one of the largest in Kolea): your kids will love it!
The condo is in building 15 which is very close to both: Anaehoomalu beach and shopping centers: King and Queen.

We have all beach gear you might want: beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, beach towels, cooler and an umbrella.

The second bedroom has a queen size bed with Island Dreams mattress with luxurious, plush feel.
A portable 'pack-n-play' baby crib is also provided.
Enjoy fully equipped gourmet kitchen, which includes toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender, tri-ply clad cookware and upscale appliances.

New (fall 2021) 65" Roku TV in the living room; 40" Roku TVs in both bedrooms with free Netflix; Spectrum cable TV and many more free channels.

In-suite laundry: new washer and dryer (see picture).

NO carpet floors in the condo- carpet is never clean, no matter how well you try to clean it. It just accumulates dust... So we got rid of the carpet in bedrooms in September 2019. It is much nicer now :-) We do have a very nice area rug in the living room though.

Check-in and out is very easy, no matter how late you arrive: the entrance door is equipped with a key-less lock: enter the numbers combination that we would provide on the keypad, and that's it - you are in! No need to go somewhere to pickup a key and then to return it after check-out.

Parking is FREE. You will NOT pay any additional fees upon arriving, such as resort fees; parking fees and so on.

Minimum temperature A/C setting is 70 degrees. The A/C works @ all windows, entrance door and lanai door closed. This ensures a comfortable sleep for overwhelming majority of people (please read reviews!) while being energy efficient.

Only 250 yards walking distance from our villa to the Beach Club, featuring an infinity pool, sandy pool with waterfall for kids, lava rock Jacuzzi and a fitness room. From there, there is another 180 yards to A-bay beach, where you can swim and snorkel in calm water, go kayaking, water biking, surfing, take a glass-bottom boat tour or just relax on the beach enjoying the sun. Kolea is located in the most sunny area of the Big Island! A-Bay is also a great place for watching sea turtles. Oh, do not miss sunsets on the A-bay, they are gorgeous!
