I almost hate to give a good review cause I'd love to keep this place all to myself. This was our 3rd stay and we will be back.. The owner is very quick to respond and the condo is clean with the most amazing view of Molokai. The little cove is perfect for snorkeling and is filled with amazing sea turtles. Thanks Again Craig for sharing your condo with us.

Everything we needed was there. Snorkeling could not be better and getting in and out for snorkeling was superb. We spent a lot of time just hanging out on the lanai, listening to the waves, watching the turtles, and spotting a few whales. Highly recommend this spot!!

This is the second time we have stayed in this condo (December and June). It is the best place to stay!! The price is reasonable and the views are spectacular. This is the best snorkeling bay on the island if you would like an up close and person experience with the turtles. At any given moment we could see about 20 turtles in the bay and also sunning on the rocks. The pool is refreshing and the property is well taken care of. We are already planning our next trip! 🐢

This is our second time at this property. The grounds are stunning as is the view. It is a quick drive for morning snorkeling at Honolulu Bay if you get tired of all the turtles here! We appreciated the new shower. While the queen bed may have a new mattress, one person rolls to the middle and the other is left sleeping on a slant. Because of this, we will book a different unit next time. This unit also lacks a few things - a large cutting board, quality knives, and basic spices are needed for a five star rating!

Nothing better than quick access to the water for snorkeling. Condo was acceptable - utensils, appliances and pots/pan could use some new items. But that did not keep us from enjoying our time at the cove.

All went well the first day, but we couldd not find the switch to turn the fan on in the bedroom. As it turned out, the housekeepers placed beach towels in the dresser, hiding the switch that activateds the fan. We finally moved the towels to place a small fan that we found in the closet, discovering the switch.
Recommendation: Advise the housekeeping crew to place towels elsewhere
Ran out of toilet paper on day 5. Recommend placing at least an extra roll in the bathroom.
No snorkeling equipment as advertised. Recommend eliminating this expectant equipment from the website if you cannot assure the equipment will be there. Renting gooles and fins runs $12 per day at the frog rental place, a unexpected expense we incurred as we left our equipment at home.
All else was great for our 2nd visit to this facility in the past 10 years.

My partner and I have stayed in the Napili area many times of the years but this property offered the best location so far. It is located in a condo complex that is right next to an excellent snorkeling and swimming cove and has amazing sunsets. The condo was very clean and had essential cooking supplies. It is also located near the Napili Market and several rental shops that rent beach supplies. Easy walk to local beaches too if you do not want to deal with finding parking.

This is the type of place to return to every year. It’s a lovely oasis in a crowded, hectic world. The condo is comfortable and has everything you need. The market and local restaurants up the street make eating a joy.
What makes this place is the location. The view from the patio of the cove, ocean and Molokai is always delightful. The grounds have the softest grass I ever felt. The cozy seclusion of the beautiful grounds begs you to relax in one of the many spots. You can stay on your patio, hang out by the pretty pool, lounge under the palm trees or sit at the sea wall watching turtles. Snorkeling in the protected cove is excellent. We saw turtles every time.
It’s an quiet, older, small condo complex with a great manager who keeps the grounds immaculate. We enjoyed the happy, kind older folks who tend to rent there.

The turtles stole the show! The property was amazing and very well kept. The amenities were great and we really enjoyed the outdoor movie night on the lawn. Minutes walk to Napili Beach and a quick drive to Kapalua Beach as well as Lahaina. Would highly recommend staying here!

The location of this unit is top notch. The small complex is well maintained. The small cove is ideal for snorkeling. It is PERFECT. We have stayed at other units in this complex, but decided on this unit, this time, because of the lower cost. MISTAKE.
I hate to give a poor review, but I must. I wish I can post photos. Not an option. It would show how very dirty the place was. Corners of baseboaards were filthy. Lots of mold in the shower grout. The bed dust ruffle and living room drapes are in extreme need of proper cleaning. The mattress needs replacement, as it has a giant sag in the middle. The very long term owners clearly have nostalgia for the place. They have as least six very old, dirty guest books in the place; that just don't belong. The place needs to be cleared out & completely cleaned & refreshed with higher end appliances for a proper rental. No toaster? Really? The very old toaster oven takes ten minutes to toast a piece of bread. The beach umbrellas were unusable. I had to go out & buy new ones, which the owner did refund me for.
Did I contact the owners regarding this?
NO, because I did not want a cleaning crew coming in while I was on holiday. I did not want to have the situation ruin my time. We just decided to live with it for our ten days & go with a "you get what you payfor attitude, lesson learned". The dishwasher broke down while we were there. I did contact the owners (mother & son). Communication was good. They tried to replace it, but took longer to find a dishwasher & someone to do the install. By the time we left it was not replaced. The owner refunded one night of lodging for the inconvience. I believed that they tried their best. The stink from the dirty water sitting at the bottom of the dishwasher was overwhelming. Also: the water temperature at the sink & shower was lukewarm; This may mean that the dishes are not washed at a high enough temperature. Faucet doesn't swivel. Stopper in bathroom sink is broken. Towel rack is broken.
Would I stay here again? If all of these items were properly addressed & resolved; yes I would. However, these similar issues where brought up by another review (I should have taken them more seriously). The owner (mother) told me that she will address issues when she visits the condo in July!
Owners: I had to be honest. The place needs serious cleaning NOW. I want to send you photos. to VRBO also.

The unit hasn't been well cleaned in a long time. Heavy dust & dirt accumulations on the baseboards, window sills, and other horizontal surfaces (even the picture frames), dust bunnies in the corners, and the grout lines on the kitchen counters and in the bathroom are filthy. Nor has the unit been maintained - the toilet runs and barely flushes (it always takes 2 attempts) and there's not hot water - lukewarm at best. Poor quality mattress and bedding. Finally, there wasn't a key in the keybox, and apparently there is no onsite manager - the owner, when contacted, first said to contact the manager in unit 110, who let us know that he doesn't manage our unit. Then we were told to talk to someone else onsite, who also told us that they have nothing to do with our unit. Finally, they relented and let us in after an hour of scrambling (after 12 hours of travel), but made it clear that the owners of our unit take advantage of the onsite management. In short, this unit has no business being offered for rent.

Loved this property! The view and quiet relaxation was exactly what we were seeking for this leg of our trip. The accommodations were simple and very clean. You will spend most of your time on the lanai or in the water anyway. We have already decided we will definitely go back. However, with washers and dryers on site next time we will pack less clothing and more dry goods; spices, oatmeal, ready made sides etc to reduce the high cost of groceries in Hawaii.

The location is stunning with a cove full of turtles just yards from the back patio. The snorkeling is some of the best on the island. Property manager is very responsive. The unit is dated and the shower needs a deep cleaning. Some issues were a musty smell to the whole unit and quite a few small ants in kitchen and bathroom. A little warm as well since no AC in the unit.

The snorkeling is fabulous- fish and turtles! We were impressed by the beautiful grounds and the daily cleaning of the pool, BBQ’s, and all common areas. We especially enjoyed the lighting of torches each evening! Our unit had a lovely living room, well appointed kitchen, and a comfy bed. However, the bedroom decor Is disappointing- tired sheets, an over sized blanket hanging on the floor instead of a cute coverlet, a broken picture frame. The bathroom toilet doesn’t flush well. The towels are old. The towel bars are hung so that towels hang on top of each other and don’t dry. The rainshower head was great but the shower and sink fixtures are old and the sink doesn’t drain well. This is a well loved unit in need of some updating.That being said , the location was so nice , the people we met so friendly, the view from the lanai so spectacular, we plan to come back. We loved the quiet low key vibe for couples, retired folks and young families. It is not a party place.

We love this part of Maui with close access to amazing beaches and snorkeling. The Napili Market is a short distance away to stock up on food and beverages. The unit has an amazing view from the lanai and the property is impeccably maintained. Inside the unit, while dated in decor, is comfortable and clean. We would absolutely stay again.

We have stayed in this unit several times. The condo has all the basics and is a good value for the area. The owner does a great job of communicating with you. The view is AMAZING and the snorkeling in the cove is always fun. The lanai walks right out to the common area which has a great small pool and grilling area. There are lots of chase loungers to enjoy the sea views. Honokeana Cove is a special place that feels like its own little community. The complex is very popular with families. It's also right on the main road so there can be some noise.

We've stayed here twice now. Not a big place and don't even have to leave because the snorkeling is GREAT! Lots of turtles! Very clean! We stayed with 2 other couples and all having our own condos. We shared meals on each others lanais being within walking distance. Just PARIDISE there!

We enjoyed 8 nights of vacation in this unit. Honokeana Bay is incredible. We loved the view, , the lanai, the lawn for our 2--7 year olds to play on, the never ending watching of sea turtles along the beach or in the water, the small pool, and BBQ'ing. My kids loved snorkeling in the calm bay and could easily spot 12+ turtles in less than 20 minutes. We also enjoyed the Hawaiian Fish books in the unit to help us know what we saw snorkeling. The condo is a great rate for it's condition. It could use some updates in the kitchen but alas we didn't spend much time inside. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Would 100% return to this little gem of paradise! Everyone was so friendly and we met families that return to Honokeana Cove year after year!

We've wanted to stay at the Cove for quite some time, the location, size of complex and turtles were the draw. We loved bbqing in the evening and meeting other folks staying on the Island. We liked the location to other snorkel bays nearby. A very nice experience in all.

hi guys. pros....pretty location. old school condo. if you take it for what is it. a great stay. cons. well, no air conditioning, to make it worse amigos/ owner, the ice machine was not working , I had to go buy ice from the store, no beuno. the bbqs are nice, butthey dont get real hot and do not have flames , totally ruined my rib eye . middle of the road. locking gates out front made it difficult to come and go, perhaps you think that adds to the security of the place. really, its maui. it was more of a inconvenience as I was not even given the correct gate code. if you can deal with all that go for it.
