The condo is conveniently located close to a tennis court, a pool and gas grills. Few mins drive to shops, a-bay and also next to the beautiful kings trail. Communication with the host is very good. The unit is clean and overall has everything a family with children can reasonably expect. We enjoyed our stay there.

Our booking at this property was last minute and I’m so glad we found this unit! The location is absolutely perfect both within the development (very close to the pool) and the development’s location within Waikoloa near the Queens Marketplace and Kings shops. Beautiful golf course surrounds the area and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Love this unit and would absolutely book here again!

We loved the two-story air conditioned 2 bed 2 full bath condo. Clean fully equipped with beach chairs sand toys towels etc. It was nice having paper products available when we arrived and many well thought out extra amenities in the kitchen as well. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. Perfect for staying all day. Nice restaurants, great shopping options and a beautiful pool with nice clean BBQs for grilling. We had shaved ice many times and loved having fresh fish and chips at the King shops. Our kids loved the Island Gourmet for many reasons. Shopping, cute gifts and pretty good food. We went to the observatory at Maunakea as the kids were not old enough to go to the summit. We enjoyed the most beautiful sunset there as well as many night swims at the Abay beach nearby. The place is quiet and comfortable and met all of our needs. We would love to return. Thank you for making this an affordable option for our family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was very clean and accommodating. We appreciated the use of the beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and the washer and dryer since we spent much of our time at the beautiful beaches. Be aware that if you arrive after dark, Hawaii island is under dark night compliance and it is challenging to find the place in low light. But we still managed by making use of our flash lights! The lock box with key was difficult to open at first, but be persistent. The owner gives very good directions. There is a pool with hot tub just one building over and it is very nice as well. There are outside grills you can use. Great place and we had a wonderful week!

This condo is great for many reasons. If you’re looking for a quiet neighborhood with an awesome pool and convenient location for beaches/snorkeling, this is it! Jim was very responsive, and although the condo itself is showing minor signs of slight aging, it’s very well appointed. There is vinyl tile flooring throughout which doesn’t show in the pictures on the listing, and that makes it easy to sweep/clean. We also appreciated the appliances and the beach accessories. Check in and out were both a breeze. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay at this property because the location made it so easy to visit all of our favorite beaches. Clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything from bedding, towels, beach gear and kitchen items right down to all the spices for grilling up the island meats and fish. We would definitely love to book this place again in the future.

We enjoyed our 3 month stay in this villa. It is in a great location in the Colony Villas complex, close to the pool, easy distance to shopping and dining etc. Our only recommendation would be to do some of the simple maintenance needed to make the unit tip top.

Lovely spacious condo close to pool and tennis court. It was wonderful to have most staples in the condo (e.g. spices, aluminum foil, etc.) Excellent supply of dishes, beach toys, towels. Nice area to walk in but restaurants and groceries are incredibly expensive in the resort. Highly recommend getting groceries in Kona or Waikoloa Village.

It was a very positive experience. The condo and complex were very conveniently located and impeccably maintained. We were very comfortable and able to explore the Island with ease. This particular condo was in a wonderful location with in the complex with regard to getting to the pool and tennis courts. We would love to book this unit again in the future.

This was perfect for our stay. We brought my elderly father so the downstairs bedroom and bathroom close by were perfect as he uses a walker to get around. We had our own private room and bath on the second floor. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was very quiet and peaceful. We visited the resort where my daughter was staying, and appreciated our rental even more! We live on island and this was an affordable and wonderful staycation. I would definitely stay here again!

A nice condo in a well maintained strata. Condo is well equipped and everything worked well. Wi-Fi at sufficient speeds for zoom meetings . Detailed check in provided and accurate. Condo bears usual Wear and tear of an almost 20 year old building but clearly well cared for over the years

We had such great family time at this beautiful and clean townhome! Great location within 3 minutes to the beach and has beautiful tropical grounds. We loved the pool and hot tub. This was a great place for a family of 5, it had everything we needed including beach gear and ice chest that came in handy. We hope to return again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Waikoloa. It is a little less hectic than in town but is still within easy reach of attractions, golf courses, and great restaurants. The only downside was parking. My group had to use two cars this trip, and it was sometimes quite a walk from an available guest spot to the villa. The reserved spot was a snap, being right next to the front door. The villa itself was great!! It was clean and comfortable as our own home. They had all the beach toys and equipment anyone would need. Again, we really enjoyed our visit and would return to this property in an instant if it were possible.

My sisters and I took our mom to Hawaii, and we had a great time. The condo is nice, in a great location, and has decent amenities. The condo is close to the pool, but without all the noise. Any issues were handled promptly by the owner. Would definitely recommend the condo. Also, you can’t go wrong with Waikoloa resort.

Loved your condo. About 20 min north of airport. Had one minor maintenance issue. Not a big deal. Well stocked kitchen. Pretty lawns and property. Terrible working dishwasher. Comfy beds and furniture. Will be back.

The space is fine akd the neighborhood is quiet and has a nice pool. However, the owner treated us terribly and it was the lowest point of our vacation. He called to tell us that he accidentally double-booked and that we had an hour to vacate. In our party were two small kids and a sick 70 year old. It was extremely distressing. He offered no alternative to us and reminded me constantly that, due to the relatively low price of the booking, he couldn't really be concerned to help us find new lodging or subsidize the extremely expensive lodging in the area. He called us at 4 pm; we'd just bought groceries for dinner and the kids' bedtime was approaching. He said if we didn't vacate in the hour he'd have the cleaner put our bags on the curb. It was truly awful and the worst treatment we've received, ever, from a home-owner. He was finally able to move the second party elsewhere but the distress stayed with my family and me. Thinking about it now, I am stressed just remembering the nasty treatment, which lacked empathy totally.

This was a great experience all around. The communication with the property owner, Jim, was excellent. We had the reservation firmed up within hours of our first inquiry and Jim checked in to make sure we arrived alright and a couple of more times during our holiday to make sure everything was going well. The condo was very clean and well laid out for my family of 4. The children slept in the main floor bedroom where they had their own bathroom. The master bedroom upstairs is nice with a large ensuite. The kitchen was super functional and well stocked with items that you might not expect (like spices, oil) - check before you go out and buy a bunch of stuff. There were Tommy Bahama beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, snorkel equipment, tennis racquets - everything you need. One day my daughter got a nasty sunburn and we were surprised to find aloe after burn ointment in one of the cabinets. The condo is about 50 feet away from the tennis courts and very short distance from the pool and barbecues. We played tennis nearly every evening. The grounds are really lovely. It is short drive to several nice beaches. The kids really liked Hapuna for boogie boarding. A Bay is nice and very close. We explored and found a few, more isolated beaches that weren't busy and were beautiful. The condo is perfectly situated to access Saddle Road to cross to Hilo and Volcano National Park (this is a definite must see). We travelled south to the black sand beach. We spent a day at beaches around Kona. They generally have rockier entries, but there is some good snorkelling and boarding. The Queen's and King's shops that are close to condo are handy to pick up some groceries or treats. The California Roll Poke at the Big Island Gourmet is amazing. We did not eat out a lot because we enjoyed just chilling and having supper on the lanai at the condo. We really had a great time on the Big Island and would definitely go back!

We loved our stay at this property. The only downside to this resort is that there isn’t beach access close by for everyone. A bay is great but necessary to drive to it.

We had a wonderful time in Hawaii during our stay. The owner of this property was very attentive. The place was very nice. We especially enjoyed having access to beach chairs and snorkel equipment. It seemed that our every need was met. Thanks!!

This condo and the location worked extremely well for our family for a stay on the Kona side of the island. We wanted to be near the Hapuna Beach area and this was a perfect fit. We were about 35 minutes away from Kona and about 20-25 from the airport. We decided to go Horseback riding, which I highly recommend, and that was about 40 minutes away. (The Big Island is BIG). We found the condo to be very comfortable and well equipped with nice amenities (pool, tennis court, etc). We really enjoyed our stay!

Our stay was April 1-12, 2017. We were four adults and one almost 2 year old. The condo was in great shape and had just about everything which we needed, including beach gear (towels, snorkels/masks, coolers, boogie boards, grass mats and kiddie sand toys) and a washer/dryer. Everything worked fine, and we were happy campers. The condo also has guidebooks for the island and an extensive guide to the local marine life which were helpful. The complex is relatively quiet and very well maintained with a couple of gorgeous pools (one of which has a kiddie section only 18 inches deep) and a tennis court (rackets and balls also in the condo). The location is in the coastal mega resort area of Waikoloa, which is located about 20-30 minutes drive north of the Kona airport. You'll need a car to get anywhere else on the island. We found ourselves going inland to Waikoloa Village (about 7 miles away) for groceries and to eat out. There's also an Island Gourmet Market in the resort, which has (pricey) groceries and a Deli. There are many stunning beaches with lots of fish and turtles within a 20 minute drive of the condo (both north and south). We'd happily stay in this condo again if we were planning another trip to the Kona side of the Big Island. If you do stay here, bring a flashlight/headlamp to enable yourself to see the code on the front door lockbox at night.

We were very appreciative of staying here and hope the opportunity presents us again - we would definitely do this again. Thank you.

January 2017
My sister and I stayed in Waikoloa, truly enjoying our time at this comfortable town home. We were there to spend Thanksgiving with family who live in Waikoloa Village. While we could have chosen to stay in the Village (approximately 5 miles up the hill from Waikoloa). We prefer being closer to beach, hotels and shops. In the past we have stayed in hotels, this time we chose to stay at Waikoloa Colony, a decision we were very happy with. Everything thing we needed for our 2 1/2 week vacation was provided for our comfort. We definitely look forward to returning and will hope to stay in this very same condo.

Nice villa, spacious, kitchen as all of the supplies you would need. Beach chairs are super convenient to have. Towels need to be updated, they look like rugs. Otherwise satisfied with ur stay.

September 2016
This is a beautiful and comfortable place to call home during your vacation on the Big Island. Two bedrooms and bathrooms on two levels offer you a lot of privacy whether you are travelling with family or friends. The home is well taken care of - sparkling clean and everything is in perfect working order. The owner gives you detailed and very clear instructions on how to use everything in the house. It helps a lot. The house is well stocked with a lot of things you might need for your vacation on the beach - beach towels, beach chairs, boards, toys, tennis rackets and more. The house is located in a beautiful Waikoloa village, near the best beaches on the big island and the closest beach, just a few minutes drive was my favorite because it is protected by the reef and the water stays very calm all the time. The house is also well located within the complex - close to the gates and very close to a beautiful pool. The pool was never crowded. If you like shopping, the shopping village with many well-known retailers and a grocery store is also within a few minutes by car. You could actually walk there but we didn't since the weather was too hot to walk. You can visit the nearby Hilton resort and walk on their grounds and look at the dolphins there. There are many things you can do on the big island but if the beach is your preferred destination you cannot find a better place than Waikoloa village and his beautiful home.

Thank you for making our vacation on the Big Island just perfect. We loved the Villa/Condo. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed, plus a super efficient oven, quiet dishwasher and all the dishes, glass ware you could need. The AC worked really well, when we needed it too. Master Bedroom and bathroom was very spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Our two teenage boys had no complaints about their room 😃. It was great to have the snorkelling gear, boogie boards just waiting for us. The BBQ's by the pool worked fabulously. You definitely need a car to get around. The island is big, just like the name suggests! Went on a great Snorkelling Cruise with Fair Winds down to the Captain Cook Monument. Snorkelling was just awesome there.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful condo. There was plenty of room to stretch out and to not get into each other's way. The kitchen had everything you could need. Check out the cabinets before you go grocery shopping because they are full of seasonings and oils that you might use in cooking. If you go shopping go north to Mauna Lani and go to Foodland the prices are much cheaper than anything you will find at King's or Queen's. There were plenty of beach toys and sports equipment for us to use. We also made use of the washer and dryer but plan on it taking close to 1 1/2 hours to wash a load of clothes. Over all we had a great time and would recommend the condo to anyone wanting a very nice place to stay.
