We've been in this condo for 10 days in August, the place is beautiful, at walking distance to the Turtle Bay Resort and at 10-20 minutes drive from many other nice beaches of the north shore.
Condo is large enough for 4 people and has a nice view on the Golf course. The reserved parking and the gated entrance to the resort is a good plus, the space for our car was just in front of the unit.
Unit itself is comfortable with enough space for 4 people and a well equipped kitchen, only problem we found is that the microwave was often making the circuit braker trip, just drop the Microwave power to 80% or less to avoid this issue.
Another little problem was the sliding door to the lanai, it is not closing perfectly and hard to move, should be fixed.
The resort has three swimming pools, very convenient for a short refresh when you're back from the beach, a pity that they close early at 9pm in the evening.
Another good plus is the sun-umbrellas (we left one more) and the beach chairs available in the condo, you can go to the Turtle Bay Beach with those and avoid paying silly rates for renting them.
The resort is on the tip of the North shore, at about 90 min drive from Honolulu and the airport, just consider this in case you want to go for excursions on the south part of Oahu.
It is actually very close to the Polynesian Cultural center, and the ticket is valid for three days, book your Lu'au package early, it gets busy soon!

This is on property @ Turtle Bay on North Shore. Very quiet area and great to get away from the crowds of Waikiki. Be aware it is 90 min drive from airport & any excursions in Waikiki but we did most of our excursions on North Shore. The kitchen is stocked with what u need to cook & grocery store is within 6 minutes

We loved the location of the condo within walking distance of the Turtle Bay Resort. We enjoyed cooking meals in the modern kitchen, and we recommend updating the both bathrooms for future guests.

Pros: Absolutely an ideal location! Beautiful surrounds. Close to many popular destination spots. Comfortable and quiet. Lovely place to stay overall. Property manager was always accessible and friendly. Instructions were easy to follow for checkin/checkout. Great condo for layout and comfort.
Cons: in a word, BUGS. All over the place there were these small bugs. I addressed this with the property manager from the first. I sent her pictures of them. Her response was that it’s a part of visiting the tropics and perhaps buy some vinegar to kill them! She did email the bug company to come and spray on our 6th day there, but they never showed up! We had bought groceries, but frankly, we were hesitant to use the kitchen for food prep. Next, the dead bolt on the front door can NOT be locked from the outside due to the fact that it is old and rusty. The patio door takes some muscle to open and you run a risk of break nails trying. There was no wine bottle opener. So the wine we bought never was enjoyed. The property manager did say if we went a bought one, she would reimburse us. My thoughts on that are..there should be a check list done before and after anyone stays there to ensure it’s fully stocked when the next guest arrives. That’s what we pay for! Lastly, every time we ran a hair dryer the power breaker would trip, and we’d lose power. The first time this happened, we tried to reset the breaker (all of them) to no avail. The property manager told us the “trick” to resetting the breaker! We did this at least 6 times during our stay. My advice for the owner. Put a little money into your place! A new dead bolt, a patio door that opens easily, for grief sakes, spray regularly for bugs! Ensure that it is actually a fully stocked kitchen before and after each stay!!
Overall, if no bugs, I would stay here again.

I gave it a 4 star rating because the sliding door really needs to be fixed. There is a really nice patio looking over the golf course and hills, but we didn't enjoy it as much as we would have liked because it was so hard to get the sliding door opened or closed!
Great location for us as we enjoyed activities like beaches, hiking, zip lining and the PCC which were closer to us here. It was a beautiful drive from the airport even though it was over an hour away. Google Maps took us right there! Directions on VRBO led us into the parking area, very easy to find!
Sandra did have beach towels, 2 beach chairs (2 more would be nice), 2 boogie boards and some snorkeling gear. The pool was very nice! We could walk to the wonderful Beach House restaurant for lunch or dinner (reservations suggested).
Sandra responded very quickly when we discovered a couple of items missing...like a bottle corkscrew. You do need to be careful about running hair dryers with the microwave as it will trip the circuit breaker, but the box was in the kitchen and easy to find!
The upstairs bedroom was a little warm even with the A/C, but we are New Englanders so prefer it a little cooler.
Instructions for our stay were easy to find on VRBO.

The condo was exactly what it looked like from the pictures on the website. Very nice, spacious and fully equipped. There was an issue with the connection for the TV, but the property owner, Sandy, was easy to get a hold of and very responsive to getting the cable serviced in a timely manner. The balcony (lanai) was a perfect place to sit for meals and enjoy the beautiful view of the golf course. All in all, our ohana thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo. We definitely will be back...hoping for the same unit. Mahalo Plenty!

Wonderful condo and grounds. Condo was very well equipped with anything you’d need to cook except a gas grill but there was charcoal one by the pool which was fine. Close to great beaches with a short hike . We saw several turtles, fish and a monk seal. Nice and quiet. I would definitely stay here again!! Owner was very helpful. Loved our stay!!!!

Reviews are useful if they inform the owners and renters both. Its hard to put one number as overall review when some parts are great and others need improvement. The location is excellent, the kitchen was very nice. Much of the condo needs some updating. The bathroom is old and has a terrible showerhead, the lanai overlooking the golf course is wonderful but the sliding glass door does not slide or lock. Wifi and Tv were great, some better beach chairs would be nice. The beds were OK, and had lots of towels. We enjoyed our stay but wanted to point out some room for improvement.

We had a fantastic time at Turtle Bay, we were easily able to access the resort beach, bars and restaurants. Loved the snorkeling gear provided. Great base for food trucks, zip lining and renown beaches. Highly recommend.

Our family had a great experience at this condo—it was lovely, very comfortable and well-located in Turtle Bay. We had everything we needed to prepare meals and go to the beach, and it was just a short drive to so many towns, restaurants and fun experiences. Our host was helpful and also available to answer any questions we had. We really enjoyed our visit and we look forward to returning.

Great value for the Turtle Bay area!
Check-in is a little extra only due to the condo being in a gated area, but communicating with Sandra is easy.
Very clean! Condo could use some updating and more labeling of light switches, but for the price a very good value. Pool area is pretty basic, no hot tub, but the beach is just down the road! (easy free parking next to the Turtle Bay resort)
Sandra was very responsive to text messages.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and true to the description. We have experience with Turtle Bay Condos since we used to own one and prior to that would rent them. This was a nice stay. Clean, air conditioned, quiet and convenient.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The room and loft set up perfectly mer our needs. The kitchen was well stocked. There were plenty of towels and even beach toys. The unit was clean and comfortable. The location was great being so close to wonderful beaches, food and BYUH and the Polynesian Cultural Center. We also enjoyed the pool and pickle ball courts and close proximity to Turtle Bay Resort. . It was a great place to stay. The only thing that would have made it better was if the unit had two full bathrooms with showers rather than the one. Full abt and one half bath.

For the most part we enjoyed our stay at Sandra's condo. It started out rocky as we were tired from the day of traveling and got to the condo late and didn't follow the instructions as written out to call at the gate using the key pad --not your phone and retrieving the key from the keylock on the door knob not the master lock on the wall. But Sandra was forgiving and we so appreciated that. I cleaned cabins so I am probably more OCD on cleaning. The kitchen was not organized well and the cupboard liners were all crumpled up and not neatly straightened, nor was the utensils and supplies. But everything we needed was there, we just had to search for it. We were happy to have found coffee in the morning! We loved having breakfast out on the deck viewing the golf course. The pool was closed during our stay and at the end of our last day we couldn't use the parking lot as it was being resurfaced. The beds were ok and I found 1 pillow that I liked. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the condo and the Turtle Bay Resort is beautiful.

The property is in Turtle Bay… so close to the beaches! Easy access to everything on the North side of the island. If you don’t want to swim in the ocean, the condo pools were perfect!… and there are three of them available.

This rental served as a convenient and comfortable launching pad for several days of North Shore activities. We spent a fair amount of time on the Turtle Bay resort itself, walking the trails, on the beach, and at the Beach House restaurant, and all of that was within 10 minutes of this location. Sandra was in early contact to ensure our check in went smoothly.

The townhome/condo was in excellent condition- clean, with a spacious family room for relaxing, and comfortable beds. We were so busy sightseeing and snorkeling that we did not use the pool or tennis courts but they were very close by.

This was a nice place to stay for our party of 5. It was very clean and had everything we needed (like beach toys for our 3 year old to play with). We loved staying on the North Shore as compared to staying in Honolulu! We were close to many nice beaches and we also enjoyed the pool nearby.
We noticed a few minor issues during our stay (broken screen door, leaky sink), but Sandra was very quick to respond to these messages, as well as any questions we had about where to find things!

Our condo Kawela Bay worked out perfectly. Location was perfect. The living room, kitchen , and balcony deck was functional. I liked the couch and the kitchen was stocked and you could cook a meal there. We were there to play golf, surf, and look at property on the North Shore. My only recommendation to our host: buy all new pillows and spend a little money on some new sheets.

We had a wonderful stay in this condo. Has everything you need in a fabulous location in the north shore. A fully equipped kitchen and bbq's at the pool area were perfect. Air conditioning works great and also nice breezes if you open windows and the patio sliding doors. We would stay here again.

The condo was very clean and had everything one could think of. Sandra was kind and worked with us during check in, as our flight was extremely delayed arriving from the Northeast. The location was close to the Turtle Bay Resort and a easy walk to the beach. The only suggestion would be to replace the beach chairs, and have a "thermal" picnic cooler to bring cold drinks etc. to the beach.

Absolutely great option if you'd like to be near Turtle Bay at a more affordable rate! We were in Oahu for a wedding and for of us very comfortably stayed in the condo. It's a short walk to the Turtle Bay restaurants and beach (we did it multiple times each day, maybe less than ten minutes), and on a long trip having the convenience of a kitchen and washer/dryer was a big plus. The condo is clean and accommodating, and Sandra was super quick to respond to any question!
