The condo was beautiful. Exactly as described. Nice quiet street near other condo buildings. There are a few restaurants, bar and attractions within walking distance near the marina. We saw whales from the patio while having our morning coffee and enjoying the morning sunrise. Beautiful walk along the ocean in front of the building. Kei answered any questions we had quickly. Condo is exactly as described. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend.

The location is perfect for connecting to all parts of Maui. The view of whales in the bay every day - amazing! There are turtles who swim right at the beach in front of the condo. Swimming beach, short walk away. Excellent location for tours from the harbour as well.

When we stepped inside this condo unit we quickly realized what a "gem" it really is....the condo and resort property are exceptionally managed, quiet & peaceful. The view over the bay second to none!!!

We stayed in this property for 2 weeks and were very happy with it. The location is excellent for exploring the island, which we definitely did. The complex is well kept and quiet. Pool was always clean and never crowded. The grills were clean and easy to use. Loved the view from the lanai. The unit is quite comfortable. We tend to cook a lot so the well equipped kitchen was appreciated. The pineapple corer was a highlight of the kitchen gadgets! Made it so easy to cut the pineapple. There were a few small things that were concerns when we arrived, but the owner and property manager were very responsive. Some were corrected very quickly and others which were not as critical are set to be addressed going forward. Note to future guests - until it is fixed, be very careful with the door of the dishwasher. It needs a new spring so you need to hold it all the way up and down and make sure it latches. The only beach chair there was broken, which was a disappointment as we like to take them in the car as we are exploring, but that is a minor thing. Overall great stay and we would not hesitate to return to this unit.

When we tried to get to the condo shortly before 3pm check in the only road into the condo was closed due to a brush fire. It was closed for hours so we had to get a hotel room for the night atxconsiderable expense to us.

Previous reviews are accurate, both positive and negative. One thing to add is that the bed is a queen (not a king) and if you have back issues it may not work for you as it is not firm. Some of the discrepancies that have been identified in previous reviews have been addressed, but not all.

We are seasoned Maui visitors and this was our first stay in this unit. Everything about our stay was as nice , or better, than expected with only two exceptions.
The unit does have A/C but NOT in the only bedroom. It was too warm for sleeping (for us) on 2 of the nights of our stay. We camped in the living room. The second thing is the washer/dryer combined unit. It does not get the clothes dry and takes hours (over 3) to deliver damp clothes. We would recommend taking enough to get through or slip over to a local laundromat.
The unit has a nice view, is very quiet, a small but ample pool, grills just steps away. It is perfect for a couple.
We did contact the property manager and received a very prompt and polite response.
We would not hesitate to stay here again.

I took my sister to Hawaii for her very first time. She has cancer and I wanted to make her dream trip come true. She uses a wheelchair because her cancer has progress. This condo as well as the parking were very handicap friendly. Condo was clean and location was perfect. Between Lahaina, Kihei and Kahului made it quick and easy to visit many locations easily. Would recommend it 100 percent!!

We really enjoyed this condo: relaxed atmosphere, well-kept grounds, pleasant neighbors, super-clean pool, great ocean view. The owner was very responsive to our questions and needs. A couple of notes: The single-unit washer/dryer is a challenge. Works fine but takes hours (literally, five hours for one load of cottons). Also, the airlines fly right over Ma'alaea which we didn't mind but some people may find irritating.
Ma'alaea itself is centrally located and it was easy to get to the airport and the beaches west and south of us. And the whales! Easily viewed from our lanai (binoculars help). Don't miss the Maui Ocean Center and whale-watching tour opportunities in the harbor shops nearby. And have lunch or dinner at Tante's -- really good.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Kei & Miki's condo. The location was perfect and we felt right at home. It was great to be able to walk to the harbor, shops, Tante's Restaurant (which has wonderful food), and the Maui Ocean Center nearby. It would have been great if there was access to the pool and shoreline from the lanai of the condo, but you have to go out the front, down the hall, and through the mailroom to get there. We were disappointed that the outdoor furniture pictured/described in the listing had been replaced with lower sitting wicker-type table and chairs but that did not interfere with our enjoyment of the lanai. In addition to the outdoor furniture, the barstools, sofa and chair pictured have been replaced with a very comfortable couch and loveseat - they just need to update the pictures in the listing. The bathroom could use a little TLC as it is showing signs of decay by the shower but we would definitely stay here again. Also, the owners were kind enough to work with us when we had to reschedule our reservation to earlier in December. The weather was not ideal for our first Hawaiian vacation and we weren't able to take advantage of the pool or use the available golf clubs, beach equipment, boogie boards or snorkel equipment. We were able to do all the sightseeing we wanted as the location of the condo is in the middle of everything. Highly recommend.

Location is perfect for the airport. We stayed one night and were so disappointed. Condo is old. We stayed in several different condos and locations in Maui over the years. This was not a place we would ever return to. We rented at much lower rates, in better locations, and with far more amenities and overall cleanliness. There’s a lot of mold in the bathroom walls, shower, and floor. This should be unacceptable for VRBO. The washer/dryer was stuck with an error code for over two hours after check in so we had no time to use it. It was overstuffed with laundry from prior tenants. The front door handle is broken and we were locked in until a neighbor could assist us because you’re fenced in from the back and the door won’t open from the inside without knowing that you have to use a broken handle to operate it. There is no easy access to pool. The microwave had black marks inside. I thought it was bugs crawling but they appear to be stains. The bedroom is facing the parking lot and you can hear everything. The bedroom and living room are so bright. It’s hard to sleep and the sheets are made of a material that make you feel hot. Maybe flannel or polyester. The floors are extremely dirty throughout. The pictures are not current. We checked in around 5:30 p.m. and were out by 8:30 a.m. We felt dirty and couldn’t wait to take a shower in a clean bathroom. We would have been better off camping in our truck for the night. Waste of money.

Communication with owner was consistently quick and helpful. Condition of the condo was a little misleading. Nothing major, but there are repairs that need to be made (bathroom mold and rust, deterioration, patio screen door, front door screen handle) and some deep cleaning (dirty baseboards, dirty curtains) needs to be done. We have stayed in this complex before so we knew the complex itself and the location were excellent.

From the first moment I booked our family trip Kei had exceptional communication. The trip was a total success. The only part we didn't enjoy so much is Ma'alaea is on the windyiest part of the island and we'd wished for a bit less wind. This we didn't know when we booked. We enjoyed this property immensely during our Maui stay. Though the days were a little warm, the AC really kept things reasonably cool and comfortable indoors, compared to some other accommodations we stayed in on the island. There were very thoughtful inclusions like pool gear and beach chairs as well! I would recommend this place to any couple or couple with small child/children. It’s a great place for a consistently great view of the water and easy access to multiple parts of the island.

After months of planning this trip, we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The only problem was the ongoing reconstruction of the sea wall which is right next to the pool. An issue with water dripping from the ceiling was quickly resolved by maintenance. Everything we needed was provided and the complex is very quiet. Looking forward to our return trip!

From the moment we got to the condo to the time we left was nothing but perfect. The location of the condo is very private yet close to Every thing you need. The grocery store is just 10 minutes away . I was so happy with the kitchen that was nicely stocked with spices and basic cooking supplies. Every afternoon the turtles would come up right in front of the condo and the pool on the property was nicely kept and never crowded. I can't wait to come back to Maui and stay in this little piece of paradise. Thank you for sharing your wonderful place

very quiet. parking is tight. no Koki frogs sadly. close to everything. Experienced little hot water, the owners were out of country yet fixed it immediately and were email responsive during our stay. Great first timer condo. I am anti condo though 15 of us vacationed this trip and I have to say it was comfie for a condo. all brand new.

My husband and I had a very enjoyable time on this lovely condo. The unit was very clean, was very well appointed (the kitchen had everything we needed and having the washer and dryer in the unit was great,) The view from the Lanai where we ate every day was wonderful. Walking into the condo was a real Ahhh moment when the front door and the slider opened to hear the waves and feel the tropical breeze, yes, instant "Island Vibe".
The condo has everything you need for the perfect stay, nothing was missing. I have rented vacation condos before and some items were always missing like enough clothes hangers. So go ahead book this unit and you will not be sorry!!! Oh, and did I mention CLEAN, well it is spotless.

We stayed for 10 days with our 2 boys. We have timeshares and have stayed at many hotels.
This condo was better than them all. We cooked most of our meals in the condo except for those "special" meals at a restaurant. I would stand at the barbecue most nights, overlooking the ocean. The best cooking I have ever done! There were always more than a dozen turtles swimming right in front of the barbecue. I watched them every night.
The swimming pool was clean, cool and a welcome everyday we got back from all the island activities in the ocean.
We slept well each night with the best ocean breeze coming through the condo. True paradise!
There are books available in a small "library" area. I haven't ready a book in many years, but I managed to read through 2 on this trip!
We will be working on plans to come back. The owner, Colleen, came by and brought us a bottle of Maui Wine. Thank you!!
I can't say enough about our stay. I rate it a perfect 10!!!
