We loved the creature comforts available at this condo! Smart TV and a full kitchen was excellent. Super clean and easy check in/out process. Host was quick to respond to any issues if we had any. Parking was a bit tight under the garage but easy to get in and out. Loved the central location making it easy to get to both sides of the island. Added bonus was the aquarium right next door! Would book this condo again! Pool was easily accessible and heated, making evening swims a pleasure.

This unit was perfectly situated next to the boat harbor with amazing views of the east mountains. We enjoyed the sunrises from our balcony. Loved hearing the waves roll in all day. The pool was nice and warm. The grounds were spotless and had beautiful flora and fauna. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Property was as listed. It was clean and well stocked. Manager responded to questions quickly. Definitely a good value. It could use a little TLC, front screen door needs adjustment, bedroom window needs repair, ice maker didn't seem to work. The grounds were well maintained.

The location is convenient and away from high traffic tourist areas. Located centrally to get to Kihei, Lahaina, Wailuku, and airport.
Condo was clean and well supplied. Owners offered efficient and timely communication as far as access, etc.
In the afternoon, walk out to the seawall and there are lots of sea turtles swimming around.
Highly recommend. This is not a new place, but it was clean and met our needs.

The property is quiet, affordable, has a great view of Maalea Bay, and can remain cool on a warm humid day both with air conditioning and open windows. The property is a bit dated but overall it was well worth the money.

This was our favorite condo that we stayed in during our visit to Hawaii! It is located in the center of everything and has all of the amenities you could want, including a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The host is very responsive and even gave us a little gift upon arrival. We would stay there again in a minute.

The condo itself was really nice. Comfortable and had every convenience we could want. Having our own parking space was wonderful--didn't need to worry about anyone taking our spot! The only down side would be the area. It was in a great location if you wanted to go up to Lahania or further or down thru Wailea or even back up towards the airport. BUT there really isn't much there. Tante's Fish Market is about the only restaurant there. While it is very good if you are there for several days it could get tiring. There are several cafe's but they all close at 5pm!!!

Cons- bathroom desperately needs a remodel- wall is peeling, things are cracked. The shower door was filled with grime. Not pleasant for the price you pay per night. Also this place has an ant problem. So no food can be kept on counter that is not sealed

We started our day sitting, drinking our tea/coffee, on the lanai watching the sun rise over Haleakala. With the ocean view, we did see a couple of whales, even being late March.
The condo was spacious and comfortable. It was within walking distance to Maui Ocean Center and restaurants. A little walk down the road to Haycraft Park and you can walk for miles on Sugar Beach! We enjoyed our stay at Milowai 203. Mahalo.

We ended our two week stay in Hawaii with 5 nights at this property. Our view was amazing, you could see turtles in the surf and all along be waterfront of neighbouring properties. Room was comfortable, no A/C in bedroom, but we didn’t mind. Well appointed kitchen, was nice to have washer and dryer. Little shopping area next to condo. Marina was also next door and we walked over to catch our snorkelling charter. We took the bus from there right down to Lahaina and ubered home so we could both enjoy some drinks with our meal.

The condo had a beautiful ocean view, but that was all it had. Dirty popcorn ceilings and the place probably hadn't been painted since it was built. Ice maker didn't work and although the owner tried to get it fixed, he basically gave up when he or someone else ordered the wrong part to make it work. Bed was very uncomfortable as well as the couch/sofa in the living area.
I've stayed at better condos in Maui and only once have we stayed at another condo that was worse than this one.

If we make it back to Maui, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Plenty of room for the two of us, and the view was even better than we expected from the listing. Close enough to Ma’alaea harbor that we could walk to our dinner and whale watching cruises, but the only sound at night was the surf. Kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed the pool and the bbq.

We had a great time in this location. It was central to the Ma'alaea harbor, where we kicked off a whale watching tour. We were also able to pop over to Laha'ina, Kihei and Kahului without much difficulty. Not much beach in front of the complex itself, but if you want to SUP or Kayak it's a great place to start off from. We did see some whale activity from the balcony, which was a very pleasant surprise.

My husband and I enjoyed our second floor ocean and pool view every morning and whenever here. Nice size one bedroom condo fully equipped. Handy walking access to Marina with several restaurants, shops, small grocery. Also a world class aquarium by the marina we are visiting our last afternoon.

My husband and I had a great experience staying at this property. We loved the views and getting to sit on the lanai. We also really enjoyed having access to a pool and lounge chairs. We enjoyed staying at this place in Maalea - the windiest harbor in the US! The pool was lovely, and it was really nice to have the ocean so close and in view from the lanai. The apartment was simple, but well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a couple days! This was a great, central place from which to do day trips in various directions; we went to both west Maui and south Maui from here.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy place. The condo is clean when we arrived, with a beautiful view of the ocean in the balcony as pictured. The host/owner Ron was very responsive and accommodating, he let us checked in early once their condo was ready for us. They even left us a basket of treat as their warm welcome, such a kind and thoughtful gift we didn’t expect.
The place is equipped with everything we need like in our house, we only buy our food. It is close to places so our adventure in Maui was easy and we had a fantastic time. Beautiful property and the gift basket with wine at check-in was great. Got to see sea turtles in the surf right outside the property. The amenities were perfect, we did a reef fishing trip and could grill the seafood on the outside grills. The neighbors were so sweet. We got married in Maui and everything was perfect!

Excellent area within 15-20 minutes of airport, very central to most of the island for exploring. Quieter area than better known areas of Maui, but we loved it. Condo was as presented online, had everything we needed in terms of dishes. Most impressive was the beautiful view from the balcony shaded in the afternoon and saw several whales during our stay--bring your binoculars to get a great view!. Only negatives I could say is that some of the trim in the bathroom looks a little rough and the shower never got more than lukewarm. There was a medium sized cooler available to use along with beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys. Although we didn't use it there was a nice pool on the property, well kept grounds and there is a really nice little beach at the end of the road that you could walk to or drive down...lots of shade or sun and the sand is like velvet in spots--wish we'd have discovered it a little sooner. If your ambitious it's a short walk to a couple of restaurants,, the aquarium and a nice little shopping center. Free parking is underground and it could be a little tight with a large vehicle--we had a Chevy Impala so no problem.
This is a great option for a quieter location with great water views but still easy to get to Kihei or Lahaina in less than 1/2 hour. We covered most of the island in our 9 days and usually back by 3 or 4 in the afternoon to enjoy the views from the balcony.

We loved this place! We stayed for ten days for our honeymoon and it was close to the harbor for activities but still felt very private and had everything we needed to relax. We really enjoyed Rons Condo. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer. The condo worked great for the two of us and I could also see it working out if we had one younger child too. I already miss the quiet, peaceful atmosphere and great evening breeze. Nearby beach is walkable as is a fun BBQ restaurant with live music, Beach Bums.

My wife and I spent two fantastic weeks at Ron's Milowai condo on Maui. The condo was evrything that was described. We have spent three other vacations on Maui and this was our best. The view from the condo was fantasic. We watched whales every day and saw beautiful sunrises each morning. The trade winds were very nice. The pool was a nice place to get in after spending time in the sun. The location of this condo made it easy to get to all locations on the island. The resturants close by had great food and service. Spent many "Happy Hours" at Beach Bums. Ron was very accomidating and helpful. We highly recommend his condo and look forward to going back!!!!!

I spent a month in this beautiful Condo at Maalaea Bay! It was very convenient to everything on the Island and while it has an air-conditioner, it isn't necessary because of the Trade Wind breezes cool the Condo all the time! Perfect place to relax, cook, grill out, swim, whale watch and enjoy your time in Maui. All amenities! I would definitely recommend this unit and will stay again when I return to Maui!

Its hard to list everything, but this unit was absolutely perfect for a vacationing couple:
- the unit was clean, and in great condition
- the appliances, electronics and furniture was all newer and in great condition
- the view from the balcony was unbeatable.
- the building was quiet, we never heard any noise from other units
- the shops at Maalaea have an excellent variety for places to eat, and is in walking distance. After a day of activity, its very nice to wlak somewhere close for an excellent meal
- although Sugar Beach is not really a swimming beach, there are some nice areas that you can go in the water. Otherwise it great for walking and relaxing
- beaches on all parts of the island are easy driving distance.
- The owner, Ron, was incredibly easy to deal with
If my wife and I come back, as a couple, we would go out of our way to book this unit again.

We tremendously enjoyed the condo during our stay. Although the waterfront is not best for swimming, it is centrally located a short car ride away from the best beaches described in "the book" as it is referred to here on the island. So definitely need to rent a car to fully enjoy this location. However, with a car, it is actually better than being on the sandy beach, as it is quiet and private in the evening and at night, offers amazing private dinner and breakfast opportunities right on the balcony. Ron is a great host and was helpful throughout the stay. Will absolutely return here.

Thank you Ron and Shirley for a wonderful place to stay. The renovated bathroom and kitchen were both lovely.The suite and grounds were immaculate. The view from the balcony is true to your photos -gorgeous view of the ocean & pool area. Overall, the condo is very quiet, making for a very relaxing, romantic experience. Nearby things to recommend for other vacationers:
1. Turtles! If you're an early riser (between 6-7am), you can watch about a dozen turtles feeding at high tide right from the balcony. We took our morning coffee down and watched them right off the grassy area in front of the pool.
2. More sea life? Visit the acquarium in Maalaea harbour. Wonderful 'underwater' tunnel you can sit or walk through while manta rays, tiger sharks, etc. swim by. Great for kids.
3. Pizza anyone? Try Porto's. Artisan pizza with fresh local Maui ingredients. And for 5-star romantic dinner, try Waterfront restaurant (both same complex as aquarium)
4. Beaches? the little beach by the marina is perfrect for swimming with little ones, no waves and Sugar beach is just down the road. Enjoy!

We loved our stay at this property. The unit was sparkling clean and oh, so comfortable. The view from the lanai was breathtaking at any time of day or night. Beach gear was available in the bedroom closet and on the lanai. There was a small beach only a few steps away. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities for cooking. The only down side for us was that there was no air conditioning in the bedroom, only a fan. We left the living room air on all day so that the cool air would reach into the bedroom by nighttime. In Maalaea, we loved the shaved ice at Hula Cookies. Be sure to have ice cream on the bottom! Sunrise at the Haleakala Crater was well worth getting up in the wee hours of the morning. Snorkeling at Honolua Bay is amazing! Don't miss the Iao Needle and a walk around the Maui Tropical Plantation. Traveling the road to Hana and the Seven Sacred Pools is an all-day adventure through the rainforest.
