"The Big Pono Aloha" has everything you need for the perfect stay. Aloha!. :) - This is Joel and Tamara and we are brand new owners of this wonderful condo which we have decided to call "The Big Pono Aloha".
A few years ago we stayed in this condo for a month and fell in love and as fate would have it we bought it! :)
Now we get to share our home with you! This has been an active vacation rental for years and now is under new ownership. So even though the VRBO listing is new, hundreds of satisfied guests have enjoyed their stay at "The Big Pono Aloha".
In May of 2019 we did a major renovation to the condo including new flooring, fixtures, paint, AC and so much more.
Complete Amenities: Full kitchen, dining room, living room, private lanai, 2 large bedrooms, 2 large bathrooms with private entries, pool, hot tub, spa, tennis, exercise room, volleyball, BBQ grills, FREE WiFi, 3-mile bike path along the ocean and FREE PARKING!

"The Big Pono Aloha" is well BIG! Most people say it's located in the best spot at the Pono Kai.
You are on the second floor so you get AMAZING views and nobody above you plus there are elevators for easy access.
This condo comfortably sleeps 2-6 people in the beds! No inconvenient living room hide-a-bed. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and private bathroom/vanity (sleeps 2).
The second bedroom has a queen bed PLUS a twin bunk bed (sleeps 4 easily), TV, and private access to the 2nd bathroom. A coin-operated laundry room is just down the hall, steps away for easy access.
Elevator access makes for easy coming and going. Walk seventy-five feet to a sandy beach, pool, hot tub, beautifully manicured gardens, tennis courts, a croquet court, barbecue/picnic areas, volleyball, fitness center, and shuffleboard. Take a short walk from the resort for great island boutique shopping, food, and recreation in historic Kapaa.
There are three portable AC units for your convenience in the bedrooms and kitchen however most guests don't need them due to the refreshing ocean breezes.
Ceiling fans in Kitchen, Living Room, and both Bedrooms for additional air circulation. Authentic Hawaiian Oceanfront living.

*Please note that this is a privately owned condo inside of the Pono Kai Resort. You have full access to all of the amenities at the property however the Pono Kai resort does not manage the condo. It is privately managed so any requests for maintenance, cleaning or help during your stay need to be communicated directly with our management company and us and not the front desk at the Pono Kai.
We always recommend that our guests obtain travel or vacation insurance for their stay in case your plans change as we strictly follow our cancelation and refund policy as outlined in our listing.
Also for your information, our front door has a Ring Video Doorbell for extra security of the outside entrance.
