Lovely villa with a great location, over looking the pool and ocean views. Villa is beautifully decorated and had every thing sufficient for our needs. Unit sleeps 8 (1 king, 2 queens, 1 sofa bed) plus 2 ports cribs available.

Place is as described in the listing. Jan was easy to work with in getting the details worked out,
Very nice location and comfortable living arrangements. Balcony/lanai was a great place to start and end the day for our family. Whether you want to relax or be active during your stay, Turtle Bay is a great resort!
Below are a few of notes we can share:
The good:
* Comfortable bedrooms!
* Plenty of towels and good washer/dryer which meant clean towels all week!
* Nice beach umbrellas / lots of snorkle equipment available.
And, the less than perfect:
* While listing says it sleeps 8, in our opinion, the Villa is ideally suited for 6 (e.g. 3 bedrooms; family room/deck seating for 6; 6 coffee cups, 6 plates -- although there are plenty of glasses, bowls and silverware for a few more).
* Sleeper sofa was not comfortable for our college age son (might be more conducive to small children, however). Generally, we know sleeper sofas are not terribly comfortable so we/he knew it might not be perfect. But the gel mattress was very thin and worn out. After a couple of days it was bad enough that we looked around to see if we could find a rental bed. We failed so he did not get much sleep all week.
* One bar of soap and small one-ounce bottles of shampoo and conditioner are provided in each bathroom. If you're planning a longer stay you'll probably want to bring your own (we're glad we did!).
Imperfections aside, this was an excellent location for our family vacation!

this location and condo are both fantastic. the nearby beach and the pool were both big hits with my family and the overall area was relaxing. lots of good space and a nice table on the lanai where we ate all our meals when we weren't out

Jan was so hospitable and responded right away if I had questions. Before we checked in, we received all the information for the Villa. The Villa was stocked with EVERYTHING we needed. It was a great location with beautiful views, beach & pool around the corner. You won’t be disappointed!!

The villa is beautiful and well appointed. The property is lovely. Beach is clean and easily accessible. Pools are also well kept. We had a couple of delicious dinners at the on-site restaurants & snacks at the pool bar.

I rented two condos for a family trip. Both were beautiful and clean, but this one had a much better equipped kitchen, and gave us access to beach chairs, snorkel equipment, umbrellas and more. Communication with owner was excellent.

Turtle Bay is a dream. You can see the sunrise from one side of the condo and sunset from the patio. It's a gorgeous property. We enjoyed walking on the trails and the beaches. We couldn't have dreamed up a more beautiful place.

Jan’s place in Turtle Bay is Amazing! Her Condo is so nice and all the extra available amenities like beach chairs, snorkeling gear, etc. in the beach locker was really convenient since we didn’t have to rent it or bring it with us. If/when we return to Hawaii, we will definitely keep Jens place in mind to stay at again. Mahalo!

Jan's villa was perfect for our family. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the nearby beach - and beach umbrellas, chairs, boards, snorkel gear, and toys were all provided. The property itself had everything we needed (for meals, relaxing, bathing, lounging). I slept really well on the super comfortable beds...actually so did everyone. We were also able to walk over to the hotel to grab a bite to eat, or walk around the beautiful property whenever we felt like it. It was an amazing place to stay and we hope to return.

We really enjoyed our stay. My brother-in-law came to surf the area and he found plenty of waves. My 90 year old mother was completing the visit of her 50th state. We all enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely and fully stocked. And the owner is a wonderful artist who had some lovely paintings hanging on the wall! Great Beach and wonderful sunsets!

Jan's villa was beautiful! We enjoyed the views, the comfortable bedding, the onsite laundry, and the nice decor. The beach chairs, boogie boards, and snorkel gear in the storage unit were very much appreciated. Access to the Turtle Bay hotel, restaurants, shopping, and surf school was an extra bonus. Highly recommended!

My multi-generational family had a great stay, and this was our favorite part of our vacation in Oahu. Jan sent very helpful communication in advance of our arrival, and her beautiful condo was clean, well-kept, and well-stocked. We cooked many of our meals and also ate at some of the restaurants at Turtle Bay (Roy's Beach House is just steps away) and drove to nearby shrimp trucks. We enjoyed the villa's pool, and the close beach is visible from the lanai. We also made use of the beach toys, umbrellas, and chairs. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had family with grandparents and grandchildren stay here. It was the best time ever. The condo is clean and very nice. The view from the balcony is awesome! We loved the beach and exploring the island. But Turtle Bay Resort was just phenomenal. The food, service, and ambiance all excellent! We don’t want to leave! Jan was a great host and the beach chairs and boogie boards were nice to have to use! We will be back!

Great rental for the North Shore! Overall this is an awesome property. On the beach and in a perfect location within turtle Bay resort. Only minor setback was that I was confused that we would have access to the resorts pools, But our own pool was perfect for iur group and not crowded. This place was an amazing stay! Very high end finishes, comfy beds, and so very clean. This place housed our family of 6 adults very comfortably. The pool and beach were so close, we spent the majority of our time there. Wifi was good enough to work from condo. The resort grounds and amenities were really amazing, but I wasn't totally prepared for the restaurant prices on the resort. There was really no place to get a reasonably priced meal unless you have a car. Definitely come prepared with more groceries or spend a lot at the restaurants! The listing was a little confusing it describes an "infinity edge" pool which was the basis for my misunderstanding that we had access to the resort pool and activities. The "infinity edge" pool as described in the listing is actually a zero edge pool for villa guests only and is lovely and wonderful and was never busy the whole time we were there. The "infinity pool," which is what confused me, is at the resort and available to villa guests for a fee. I see other Turtle Bay Villa listings on VRBO make this separation more clear. Overall a fantastic and comfortable stay!!!

The location is beautiful and we enjoyed ourselves at Turtle Bay. The apartment is fine but after 30 years as a rental is definitely starting to show its age. Serviceable. not fancy. Furniture etc. could use a refresh. That being said, beds are comfortable and the kitchen and laundry facilities a plus when with kids. Unfortunately my husband washed jeans with some towels so we replaced them. Good news- towels are new now! The proximity to the newly renovated hotel, the ocean and all of the activities and amenities is absolutely the best part.

We like the villas at Turtle Bay resort and have stayed at the location before in other properties. We had some issues with the air conditioning which really impacted our stay. The owner while nice enough was not able to get the AC serviced so the unit was hot most of the time. She told us to open the windows to let in the ocean breezes - but that also let in the daylight at 6 am and the noise from the pool being cleaned and leaves blown at 7 am. Our son and pregnant daughter-in-law did not want to open their window because it faced the walkway. By opening their curtain to expose the screen would also allow folks on the walkway to look in. The property manager came in and agreed the AC was not functioning correctly and said it need to be serviced. The owner was not able to find anyone to come in and service it during our stay. I gave up complaining about it because it was making it unpleasant and there was nothing we could do but “suck it up.” I do think the owner should have offered us some sort of compensation for it. Also, the unit is starting to show signs of wear - The oven works but the bottom is damaged, the dishwasher top rack is broken on one side and needs to be fixed. The microwave sparks on some of the settings. The glass stovetop is worn, as is the table top where some renters obviously didn’t use coasters and the finish is worn off. I like to cook so we did use the kitchen and I found the supplies in the kitchen are just barely adequate. If you prefer to eat out - it won’t be an issue. It was great to spend some time with our son and daughter-in-law so that sort of offset some of the challenges with the unit.

We LOVED our time at Turtle Bay! Jan was so kind and helpful with check-in. We got there late, it was dark and rainy and we had a hard time finding the gate with the construction going on. She was so quick to call and and guide us through! The rooms were perfect. The view from the balcony was PERFECT. Everything was as described and easy to use.
