This beautiful, nonsmoking, newly furnished unit sleeps 4 and offers 600 square feet of roomy living space. The sofa in living room doubles as queen sleeper with memory foam mattress.

We take personal pride in keeping our home clean and well maintained. As it is also our home away from home, we update and replace things regularly. We believe in supporting local businesses and local people. All upgrades to our home are purchased at local non-chain businesses whenever possible. Our cleaning and maintenance team are local independent owner operated businesses and we have met with the owners personally.

This ocean view condo is located on 13 acres of green, lush, manicured grounds with a thoroughly Hawaiian atmosphere. The only resort with two ocean front pools, two spas and two 12 hole putting greens. There are lighted tennis courts and two ocean side shuffle board courts. Relax in two beach cabanas, visit the koi ponds and BBQ on any one of the 12 gas BBQ grills. Yoga classes and weekly Mai Tai parties too!
Papakea is conveniently located between the Kaanapali and Kapalua world class golf resorts, just minutes away from shops, restaurants and galleries in nearby Lahaina and Whaler’s Village. You are just a short walk to famous Kaanapali Beach and the boardwalk which stretches all the way south to Black Rock and beyond. You are steps from a terrific snorkeling reef, where you can swim with the gorgeous fish and sea turtles. You are within walking distance of casual dining, a coffee shop, farmer’s market, grocery and convenience stores.

The fine print (LOL):
Papakea Resort charges a facility use fee of $17/day for the first 10 days of every 30 day stay, up to a maximum of $170 for any 30-consecutive day rental period. This fee is collected by the front desk and covers such resort amenities as parking, pools and spas, tennis courts, putting greens and shuffleboard and resort wide free internet. We pay that when we stay as well:)

We do not have a rental 'contract' nor require a security deposit. We ask only one thing: Please treat our home with love. It’s not a hotel. It is our home away from home. Pretend we are staying in your home as guests while you are staying in our home. Sondra's unit was great. My wife, four year old, and myself really enjoyed our stay there. The unit is well equipped with just about everything you need. Its been updated and everything is new and in good condition. The property is very well maintained. The unit is steps to the beach, pool, bbq grills, putting green, shuffle board, etc. There are two pools at the property so the closest pool was never too crowded. We highly recommend this unit to anyone interested.

The unit was very clean and well-equipped, loved that they provided beach toys, towels, chairs etc. The appliances were all well maintained and high end. The location of the resort is very convenient to access a lot of nearby beaches, restaurants, shopping etc and this particular unit had a lovely view from the patio. We absolutely loved Sondra's condo at Papakea. This is our first time at Papakea and we loved it more than anyplace we've stayed before. The condo was very clean, well stocked, comfortable, beautifully decorated. The kitchen was super stocked with spices and things needed to cook a meal. Our daughter said the pull out was quite comfortable. The complex is so nicely landscaped, there were always pool chairs available, the putting course was nice, people were always playing shuffleboard and cornhole, the vibe was just very nice, lively but not too loud. Parking was easy, it was so nice to be connected via the parking lot to the ABC store. I will say the bed is a bit on the firm side but I got used to it, and the dryer and AC are a bit tricky to figure out but we got them figured out. We would absolutely recommend Sondra's condo!

We had a great stay at Papakea! The condo was just as described, stocked with everything you will need. Great location, close to wonderful walking paths and the bus line. We didn’t rent a car and had no trouble walking or taking the bus from this location. The property was very clean and it is obvious how much care is taken in making it comfortable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Sondra has totally thought of everything you will need to feel most at home here! The condo was super clean, comfortable, and had an amazing view. The property itself was spectacular, but her condo made it feel like we were truly in vacation. She had all the beach supplies you could think of, the kitchen was well equipped, the bedroom was spacious and relaxing, and the living room/lanai was the perfect gathering space. We look forward to coming back to Maui and staying here. It was truly our favorite place thus far.

Stayed at this condo to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. This condo is fully equipped.
