Hali' i Kai is a 30 acre gated oceanfront complex on the Big Island of Hawaii with numerous luxurious resort like amenities. It is about a 20 minute drive from Kailua-Kona airport. Our condo, #23D is a spacious second floor end unit without anyone above you. It is a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo furnished with Hawaiian decor and has a large lanai. Very modern unit with open floor concept with crisp ocean breeze flowing from the lanai through the front door.

The Hali'i Kai Ocean Club Bar and Grill with a magnificent crystal clear salt water pool with gentle waterfalls in a lagoon like setting and a sandy bottom jacuzzi is only a 5 minute walk away. It overlooks the ocean and without a doubt you will see humpback whales during season (November to March). The open cabana poolside bar and grill serves tropical cocktails and delicious menus. You will see the most magnificent sunsets from here. Sunset times are the most jaw dropping times you will have on your visit to Hali'i Kai.

The open fitness center is adjacent to the pool giving you a panoramic view of the ocean and the tropical breeze will keep you cool. On occasion you will see schools of dolphins passing by displaying their gymnastic majesty. A tennis court and a half basketball court is a 2 minute walk away. There are four tennis rackets and tennis balls available. We also have a basketball for you to shoot some hoops. Beach toys for the kids are available.
A brand new Putting Green (2021) has been placed close to the tennis courts for your leisure time with your friends and family.

The master bedroom has a King size bed and a 55' TV, a large master bath with his and hers sink. The large second bedroom has 2 Queen size beds and an adjacent large bath with 2 sinks. It has a 48' TV. There is a fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The living room includes a sleeper sofa. There is a 55' wall mounted TV. The Ultimate Cable package with numerous movie channels is available. Pay Per View channels will be the responsible of the guest. High speed internet access ( WiFi ) is available. The condo has central air and full sized washer/dryer. A lanai to enjoy your morning coffee is right off the living room. Central air automatically shuts off when either the lanai or the front door is opened. Play n pack is available for your toddler.

The condo is located near the Coconut Grove BBQ area where several high end grills are available in a classic quiet and private island setting where you could grill your fresh catch of the day. Beautiful large hammocks tied between coconut tress are there as well to take your nap after a nice meal. The only sound you will hear are those of the tropical birds and the coconut fronds in the gentle breeze.

The famous and historical Anaeho' omalu white sand beach and the Lavalava beach club with its exquisite on the beach casual dining is a five minute drive. Excursions for whale watching, snorkeling, sunset dining depart from here. Hapuna and Maunakea beach and 69 mile beach are nearby as well approximately 15-20 minute drive. Numerous activities including deep sea fishing, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, wind surfing, zip lining, helicopter tours, volcano tours, whale tours, swimming with the dolphins, swimming with giant and gentle stingrays and many many more.
Kona is about a 30 minute drive away. Visit the historical district and an awesome farmers market to get all your tropical fruits and Hawaiian artifacts. The waterfront is lined with numerous magnificent restaurants. Enjoy the harbor where you will see traditional canoe races.
Numerous hotels have nightly luaus with sumptuous island food and mesmerizing traditional dances including hula and knife and fire dancing.

There are two world famous golf courses in Waikoloa literally minutes away. The 18 hole Robert Jones designed Beach course or the King's course designed by Tom Weiskopf.

Queen's Marketplace less than five minutes away offers great shopping and will provide you with everything you would need for your stay. The Waikoloa Luxury Cinema at the Queens Marketplace with in theatre dining is a great experience. Starbucks to get you started is conveniently located here. Large stores such as Costco and Walmart are near the Kailua-Kona airport.

The Kings' Shops located less than five minutes driving distance offers a wide variety of shopping and has several restaurants. Located close to the historic Kings Trails featuring ancient petroglyphs. If you are interested in a night of high end dining visit Roy’s and you won’t be disappointed.

This condo has the larger floor plan ( 1459 sq ft with the lanai) and is an end unit with lots of Windows on the second floor which is the top most floor.
The entire floor was recently replaced with high end durable vinyl planks simulating drift wood. There are no carpets. Tile backsplash depicting beautiful tropical sea colors was also recently installed.

Check in at 3 PM check out is at 10 AM.

There is a daily $20 resort fee payable to the resort at check in. Beginning April 1st 2023 the resort fee will be increasing to $25. The resort fee is for the entire group at the condo. The resort fee is for the use of the oceanfront Ocean Club which has the swimming pool and spa, restaurant and bar and the fitness center. On paying the fee the fobs/keys will be handed to you to access the pool and entry through the front gates. The guest is responsible for the resort fee and the amount is set by Haliikai management.

Short Term Vacation Rental ( STVR) Registration Number : STVR -19-367113.

The following are the rules set forth by the County of Hawaii Planning Department:

A) Quiet hours shall be from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., during which time the noise from the STVR shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors.

B) Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area.

C) Guest vehicle’s shall be parked in the the designated onsite parking area.

D) The STVR shall not be used for commercial purposes.
