Great info on where to park as the signage in the resort is not too clear. we were a bit concerned with a bottom unit but there was little walking traffic in front of us. we loved the place!

The view from this property was stunning clifftop property where we were able to watch the whales from the dining area. The property was well equipped with everything a family may need for their trip to Hawaii from snorkel gear, beach chairs & umbrellas, binoculars and more!. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need to entertain the family for a multi-week vacation. Just minutes away from one of the most picturesque towns in all of the Hawaiian island "Hanalei". Grocery store only minutes away as well. The only downside is if you plan to visit the entire island it is not centrally located. It's the perfect location if you plan to stay solely on the Northshore of the island. Very happy with our stay

This unit is spacious and very well laid out . The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen very well-stocked . There is no grill on property so cooking is limited to oven and cooktop , not ideal for summer meals . No review of this place could omit mentioning the gorgeous view and lovely setting . It felt very private . I would hesitate to bring small children due to the proximity to the steep cliffs . A little later checkout would be helpful as getting all the towels and linens washed by 10 was rushed and a bit stressful .

We loved our stay here. The apartment had great views and beach access. The pool was a plus for the kids. The location was ideal for exploring the North Shore. A short walk across the lawn and we could watch the sunset over Hanalei Bay. Well equipped with beach and snorkel gear. It would be hard to ask for more!

We love this unit!!!!! We have been there several times. We love the A.C. units, decor, cleanliness and location. The only thing I would suggest would be updating the mattresess in the 2nd bedroom.

This unit was exactly as described. It was clean, quiet, and very well appointed. The directions for check-in and check-out were very clear. We had a couple of minor issues, but Kristine, the property manager, was very communicative. We stayed over the holidays, which complicated things a bit in terms of maintenance, but Kristine was very apologetic and did her best to get the issues addressed and taken care of. We still had an awesome time!
Overall, this is a wonderful property and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Had a very enjoyable stay and enjoyed lots of time on the patio. Views are spectacular along with the tradewinds that come through daily. Only note that I would say is that you are in a bottom unit and you hear everything if someone is up above in the unit above you. to be expected and never was a problem while sleeping.

Beautiful and clean, this Princeville condo is situated on the cliffs of northern Kauai. Hideaways beach was a short walk away and Hanalei was a ten minute car ride. The condo was well supplied with kitchen and bathroom essentials and also included some beach accessories as well. Although A/C is provided, we did not need to use it. Overall, this condo is excellent and highly recommended.

This place was the perfect getaway for our family of 4 while we stayed for a week exploring the island! There was everything we needed from beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, fully equipped kitchen all the way to shampoo and conditioner in the showers! The sunset views from the yard were spectacular, it was a nightly routine for us to go watch the sunset! I really appreciated the great communication with the property manager, she was so easy to reach if needed which made the stay even better knowing she was only a phone call/text away! We will definitely spread the word on this hidden gem and our family will 100% book again when we return!

We absolutely loved our stay in Pali Ke Kua (133/134)! The location, views, proximity, cleanliness, and communication were top notch. The condo is in a fantastic spot on the North Shore and had everything we needed, even the things we didn’t know we needed! We could walk to a few beaches, easily drive to Hanalei or Kilauea, and Foodland was great for supplies. Thank you!

No need to even use an air condition, though she has them available if you need. I just got home and went to book for next year. Unfortunately the time I needed is booked - was very saddened. Condo was nice, air conditioner in bedrooms were a bonus for bed time, we didn't use the one in the living area as the natural air flow was just fine.
Manager was wonderful to respond/handle to two minor issues when we arrived- kitchen sink and microwave.
Hit or miss with neighbors, a day before leaving had loud upstairs neighbors, but not much control over that. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We honored the condo rules and tried to leave it better than we found it.

Fantastic location. Clean, comfortable, beautiful decor. We will definitely be back. The only thing that was missing was a lock on the sliding glass door SCREEN in the bedroom. Check the coffee pot innard parts to make sure they are clean before use. I would highly recommend this wonderful unit. It is first class and we loved it!

My husband, daughter and I had the privilege of staying at this gorgeous property for 2 weeks, from 2/11-2/25/2023. It was all we dreamed of and more! Everything we could imagine was provided for us. Literally all we would have had to have done was brought ourselves and a few clothes. The grounds are gorgeous and the condo has a wonderful view of the pacific ocean. We were blessed to see numerous whales from the breakfast area window while we were there. Princeville is a beautiful area, and we hope to visit again someday in the future. When we do, we'll definitely stay at this exact same condo!

I nice 2 bedroom ground level apartment over looking the ocean! The kitchen is nicely updated and has all the amenities/supplies you need. The beach toys, boogie boards and beach towels for use were also much appreciated! A 5-10 minute drive to beautiful Hanalei Bay beach where you can play in the waves. Overall a great spot to use as a base to explore the North/East coast of the island.

The property was right on the water, in greatcondition, and absolutely lovely. So easy and relaxing. Very close to golf, Hanalei Bay, and other spectacular North Shore features. My wife and I loved our room and my Mom had her very own suite! Waking up to the deep blue Pacific, the sound of the surf, the tropical air, and the local Nene family was spectacular. And the rental even had all the beach stuff we needed. So wonderful.

This property was perfect for our family of 4. We like to do most of our meals at home, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. All the snorkel and beach gear was great for our family, and the view was fantastic.
One note - there was no coffee to be found. This may be inconsequential to most people, but if you are a Seattleite like me, you may want to pick some up on your way ;)

This condo was perfect for our family of three adults. Both rooms were spacious and each had their own bathrooms. We didn’t want for anything because the condo was stocked with beach equipment, every kitchen appliance needed as well as pool and beach towels. I highly recommend this until in Princeville. The supermarket and restaurants are easily accessible.

This condo was built in 1992 and is, overall, quite nice. However, some of the jalousie windows won’t open which cuts down on the ventilation. That’s a problem at times because there is no air conditioning in Hawaii, for the most part. There is peeling paint on some walls as well, but overall, it’s a nice unit. A recommendation for the owners is that they include a one sheet flyer with instructions for how to use the TVs. The one is the second bedroom was particularly difficult to figure out and the people in our party are very adept at using technology. The Samsun in the living room also gave us some issues when we tried to use Netflix on it. Without explicit instructions (which weren’t found on the Internet), it took about 45 minutes to finally work it out. Quite a waste of time. Instructions for how to use various appliances and the overhead ceiling fan would’ve also been helpful. We didn’t find out until our last day that there was easy beach access just a few yards from our unit. So, overall, some type of orientation/instructions would have been greatly appreciated and helpful.

The condo was very clean and the views from inside and outside were magnificent! Our kids loved having their own bedroom and bathroom, and the A/C came in handy on a few hot afternoons. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. Having laundry in the unit was another great plus. We enjoyed using the boogie boards at nearby Hanalei Bay. The location was very convenient for all our activities on the north shore, and we took one long (but enjoyable!) trip around the island to visit Waimea Canyon and some sights on the south shore.

Honestly, we loved this home in Princeville...so much that we are considering returning to Kauai next year and staying here again! Everything about this home is perfect: location in Princeville is A+ (also dreamy views from the kitchen and main bedroom), gourmet kitchen, two spacious bedrooms, two full bathrooms, AC, laundry facilities, beach gear (chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards), and more. We stayed as a couple and loved the spacious layout with the family room/den separating the two bedrooms. (This is perfect for a family of four!)

The beach chairs and boogie boards came in handy for our outings, even a cooler is available for carrying drinks to the beach! As mentioned the beaches are quite a hike so we ended up hopping in the car and driving to some nearby easy access beaches such as Anini Beach the last couple of days. Gorgeous sunsets!

We went to Kauai for my son’s wedding. The location of the property is wonderful with views of Turtle Bay and the golf course.
The layout of the condo and two separate bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms provided privacy for 2 couples. The kitchen is well equipped. The patios were comfortable for sitting outside and enjoying coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. We are many meals in the condo because the view is amazing. I recommend this property.

Best of all, walk 20 feet out the back door and you are standing on a cliff overlooking the North Pacific. This place is the perfect little piece of heaven to come home to after a day out, or even to just stay in for the day...we did both. It feels so comfy and has just what you need in a little home away from home. All of the birds and the Nenes hanging around are just so peaceful to sit out on the back lanai and watch. The kitchen is well stocked if you prefer to stay in and cook, and we definitely recommend a pizza night from Hideaways Pizza Pub. It's a 2 minute walk to either dine in or bring back to the condo...very good! The AC was a wonderful addition to be able to use if needed, and the main bed was perfect. It's amazing how much of a difference a good night's sleep makes on a quality bed. They have all of the gear you could possibly need for a day on the beach as well, which is so helpful. The views, and my goodness the breezes...when you open the louvered windows in the front and back of the condo the tropical breezes literally flow through the entire place, it's honestly one of my most memorable moments of the stay. I would absolutely recommend Honu Hideaway to any couple or small family looking for a place that has more of that home away from home feeling with all the amenities that come with it.

Our family absolutely loved this condo and the whole Pali Ke Kua property. The place itself is fully equipped, clean and very homey. The ocean views and local birds and lizards were wonderful.
