We had a great vacation in Maui. The condo was fantastic, beautiful furnishings with a Hawiian theme. There were plenty of dishes, pots, pans, cutlery and more. As soon as the groceries were put away, it felt like we were home.

We really enjoyed the location. Easy to walk to the beaches, overall very quiet and unit being on the main level makes it so easy to load and unload from the day. Also everything we needed and appreciated the extra supplies.

Me and my husband came for our honeymoon. The space we rented from Gwen and Dennis was so lovely. the check in process was easy. Just a quick walk to the beach, whether to hang out there for the day or just to see the sunset. The pool is very close to the room and it was amazing having a first floor unit. Gwen and Dennis were so nice to deal with and left a few goodies as a welcome gift! They have most of the amenities you will need for the week! The only recommendation I have is if possible stop by the condo before going grocery shopping to ensure you don’t have to go back out again, or buy stuff that they already have!

We were traveling with family for this visit and had family members staying in several condos in building 5. We loved this location (both in Kihei and in the complex). Being on the ground floor makes coming and going particularly easy, while the condo itself was a great place to relax and meet with other family members during our trip.
We spent much of the time on the lanai, as it was very comfortable to sit and chat or just watch the sun go down. The trade winds cooled the condo nicely, though the AC also helped take the heat out of the air at times.
Communication with Gwen was AMAZING. She was really on top of things and provided great information before and during our trip. Of the three condos our family stayed in during this trip, Gwen was the first to inform us of some planned, complex-wide, work that was going to have to be done while we were there and checked on us to make sure that all was well.
This condo was well stocked with everything we needed and then some.
This was a great condo and we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to all.

Easy communication with owner, unit was conveniently by the back gate to easily get out to the highway, and also close to the pool but without the pool noise.

This condo is perfect for a couple, or 2 couples. very well supplied kitchen, everything a person would ever need. Amazing bed, slept like a log!!!!!!

The property was just as described and was stocked with everything we needed to feel at home with during our family vacay! We were pleasantly surprised to arrive to a thank you note and welcome gifts. Our friends were staying in other units in bldg 9 and there’s weren’t nearly as nice as this one. The location of our unit had a beautiful morning view and a huge grass lawn steps away from the pool. We didn’t use the kitchen much, but the cabinets were loaded with enough stuff to host a party. I was initially concerned about not having central air (just a wall unit in the family room) but between the ceiling fans and the wall unit it was surprisingly comfortable. Would recommend this property and plan to return in the future!

We love this place. Everything was perfect. Very clean, and the kitchen was very well stocked. Everything we needed was there. The unit was beautifully remodeled with attention to detail and had nice furniture. We enjoyed the patio with a peekaboo view of the ocean. The condominium complex is well managed, and their swimming pool was nice. The complex is located across the street from a beach. We could walk to the beach in 5-10 min. We enjoyed our stay so much. Thank you!

I booked this 1-br condo at the last-minute for my daughter, her fiancé, and 15-month old grandson.
We loved the fact that it is a floor-level condo in Building 5, allowing my grandson to play in the grassy area. It is also steps to the swimming pool and one of the BBQ areas.
The only thing that was unsatisfactory for my daughter’s stay was the washer. There was a sign posted on the washer indicating that they fixed it to the best of their ability. Still, it was an extremely frustrating process for her to be able to wash clothes efficiently. Other than that, they enjoyed their stay in the condo and would rent again.

This is an excellent place to stay! Check in process was made simple by the owner. She answered all of my questions, including questions I didn't know I had. I would stay here again. Beach in front of the condo was wonderful. You can walk to plenty of places to eat. Just overall, a wonderful and clean place to stay.

We are so happy that we changed our plans from staying at the local popular hotel to this apartment. We had more room and flexibility with meals for half the cost. Very nice resort with restaurants and beaches within walking distance. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

The place was what I expected. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. It had all the amenities and then some. I would definitely rent this unit again. One item of note. The front door did not close to lock on its own. I had to pull it shut to lock. I only had to pull it like an eighth of an inch. Thank you for helping get settled in. Loved the place and my experience.

The accommodations at the property were fantastic! The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Gwen was very helpful whenever we had a question. The location was 5 minutes from the beach. You can see the water from the condo patio. The condo resort also had a pool, hot tubs, grills, and they kept them clean every day. The pool also has live music on Wednesdays. Kihei was the best location on Maui, in my opinion. It was the least commercial area of Maui for tourists looking for a beach. There were so many nice local shops, restaurants and businesses. Our whole experience was great. The unit has everything you need for an awesome stay. The grounds are very well maintained and clean. The pool area was relaxing to spend time at when not at the beach. The property is located right accross the street from the beach and a short walk to restaurants and shopping. We will definately stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The first floor provided easy access both for walking and arriving and leaving the property. The kitchen was very well stocked making it easy for us to prepare quick meals. Overall super nice and comfortable and we would definitely stay there again.

The unit was as advertised! Beautiful and centrally located which made it very convenient. Friends who stayed in other units were very impressed with this unit! Had everything we needed! Location is really great to get around the Kihei area, yet close enough to the main highway to travel to other locations.

Gwen’s condo was the perfect spot for our week on Maui. We loved the mornings and evenings on the lanai —a perfectly shaded spot, great for sunset views. Kamaole Sands overall is a lovely, lush property with excellent beach access and just a quick stroll to reliable food options. Grab sandwiches from 808 deli or fish tacos from Coconut’s Fish Cafe (these were a total hit with our group!) and head over to the beach for a perfect day!
