We loved the location and view! Everything was close and could walk to nearby places if you wanted to stay nearby and just relax. Beach was gorgeous. I won’t call this a complaint because we loved the condo but a couple of the nights it could have used air conditioning but absolutely nothing that would keep us from staying again! Love it and it was very hard to leave !!

This is a great condo with a to-die-for view of the ocean that we enjoyed every morning from the lanai with our coffee viewing the sunrise and every evening looking at the stars. Craig and Shari (the hosts) were excellent in all respects. The unit was impeccably clean and it was like coming home the first time we entered the condo. The resort itself was well-maintained and peaceful. Lae Nani's location in Wailua was perfect to see all of the major sights in Kauai with only an hour's drive to even the furthest points on the island, and it was walking distance to local shops and restaurants. This was the best vacation my wife and I ever had and the most wonderful way to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary.

Good unit in an outstanding complex with beautiful landscaping and a great beach. Spotty wifi and the advertised lack of AC were minor inconveniences though overall we were quite pleased.

Lae Nani 524 is just as described. The best part was sleeping with the sound of the ocean each night. The trade winds kept the condo cool. Early mornings and evenings were beautifully quiet and peaceful on the property. Great coffee and organic banana bread within walking distance at Imua. Our morning treat on the condo lanai. Aloha!

Perfect place on the water. Kitchen has everything you need to make dinner at home. Boogie board, chairs, everything for the beach you need. Our daughter was very comfortable in the murphy bed. Highly recommend.

We loved this property! The space around the property is so lush, and there is a lovely view of the ocean from the spacious lanai. Our kids really enjoyed the pool and beach, especially the protected swimming area. I am very picky about beds, and the main bed was extremely comfortable; kids slept really well on the Murphy bed too. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance (although plan to make reservations well in advance!). One small way to improve property- add hooks on sides of lanai for drying towels and swim suits. We are sad to leave this piece of paradise! Thanks!

First, we do love the Lae Nani complex. And second, this condo was just lovely. Craig and Shari were wonderful to work with throughout the whole process and quick to respond to questions. The condo was beautiful, tastefully decorated and quite comfortable. I loved the bathroom decor! The kitchen was well stocked with quality pots and pans and dishes. The bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable, but we still couldn't resist pulling down the murphy bed to experience sleeping next to the ocean for a couple of nights. And for a pull-down bed, it was amazingly comfortable too. The lanai furniture was very nice, and we spent hours out there just taking in the beauty. Fluffy beach towels, chairs and a cooler were great to have when we could pull ourselves away from the condo for the day. The lack of AC was a non-issue for us. The beautiful ceiling fans and the breezes kept us "island comfortable." If we have occasion to spend time in the Kapa'a/Wailua area on a future trip, we would love to stay here again. Can't say enough how we enjoyed our stay.

The view of the ocean as you walk into the condo is amazing. This location can’t be beat. Stores and places to eat within walking distance. Swim, snorkel and sit in the sun right in front of your condo, literally so close by. Condo was clean and we were happy we chose to stay here. Even with no AC the cross wind kept us comfortable. Bedroom was even cooler so would stay here again!

We recently stayed for 11 nights in this condo. We have stayed at Lae Nani many times, but this was our first stay in 524. It was definitely the best stay we’ve had. The condo was spotless, the view was amazing, and we had everything we needed. We spent time at the pool and the beach and enjoyed both. We definitely hope to stay here again soon

Had no idea where to go in Kauai since it was our first time here. The beach, sunrise views were so spectacular. We even saw a monk seal come up the first morning. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. We loved this place. Will definitely be back.

Thanks to Craig and Shari for allowing us to spend time in their awesome condo in Kapaa. The unit was very cozy and inviting décor to set an atmosphere for the vacation stay. You couldn't beat the view on Lae Nani beach in the whole resort. The central access to all areas of the island is great. Great walking distance to beach, Coconut Marketplace and other great eateries and amenities. Very close to the Wailua river for excursions, such as kayaking and hiking to Uluwehi Falls (Secret Falls) as well as a short drive to Wailua falls, or to the Smith's Tropical Paradise. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay as this was our second Condo during our trip to experience two sides of the island. It can get a little stuffy in the condo when the ocean breeze isn't blowing much, but the fan's provided help immensely. Thanks again!

Everything about this place is positive. Right on a great beach. Walking distance to several things to do. The nicest resort that we saw while we were on the island. Inside is updated, clean and comfortable. The owners were easy to communicate with, and there was a nice note and gifts for our anniversary waiting on the counter when we arrived. This will be the first place we look next time we travel to Kauai.

The location, view, amenities were great. Parking was tight but rental car was huge, Ford Expedition. The listing says ceiling fans which is 100% correct. What is omitted and severely needed is any air conditioning. We were very uncomfortable. Air temperatures are not high but humidity is extremely high. No dry fabrics, no dry skin. I literally broke out form it. The only relief is find AC in the car or other places.
Suggest to Owner put a little AC unit in the bedroom.
We had a great vacation but if I ever return it will have AC.

The rental was exactly as described…even better. The grounds/landscaping made it idyllic and the fact that a really nice beach is just few steps from the condo was a real treat. As other guests have observed, you will find yourselves spending much of your time just relaxing, sitting and dining on the lanai.

The owner emailed all information early and even text to make sure I got it. The condo was so beautiful. So well decorated and the views were amazing. From the moment we walked in the view off the balcony took our breath away. We sat out on the balcony and enjoyed the view many times. It was our first trip to Kauai and our family loved every minute. We are already talking about going back. Wife said when we come back we have to stay here. Thank you for an excellent experience.

Wonderful location - you definitely know you next the ocean. Oceanfront views were amazing. The large lanai was fantastic. We were able to eat dinner and enjoy morning coffee on the lanai.
The unit does not have A/C but all the ceiling fans allowed for great airflow. Murphy bed pullout was fine. You still had plenty of space with bed pulled down.
The beach in front of the condo is a bit rocky but there is a small tide pool on the left side that will allow you just ‘chill’.

The location is great. It’s pretty central to the area. There’s no need to look for another beach when there’s a beautiful one right outside the condo. Walk to restaurants and shopping. The place is amazing.

So relaxing with everything we need. The personal decor touches are high quality! Kitchen had everything we needed. The master bath was dramatic and enchanting. Property manager was very timely. We will be back! How will be go to sleep without the sound of the waves and wake up without the roosters crowing? By the way, Coconut Fish Cafe about a mile away has incredible food for takeout!

Unit 524 has a perfect location in the Lae Nani complex. The view is lovely, and in April, there is isn’t any late day sun on the balcony which makes sitting there any time of the day very enjoyable. Shari and Craig were very helpful in responding quickly to any questions we had. The unit is nicely updated and well equipped. We did find the pillows too firm for us as we prefer pillows that we can shape. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

To get started we are very picky about accommodations in general and always paranoid about the property matching up to its online description. But this property pretty much lived up beyond our expectations. The whole condo was very clean when we arrived and exactly matched the online description. The ocean front lanai is exactly what we were looking for and we spent many hours just looking at the ocean! Kitchen was well stocked w utensils & appliances. Bathroom was super clean w plenty of towels and even had few beach towels! There was a separate closet with many beach & picnic accessories like boogey boards, snorkel kits & coolers! location was just fantastic with easy access to both west & north shores. Above all the hosts Shari & Craig were just incredible. they were super responsive to our needs and made sure we had a pleasant stay, which we did. This condo made our Kauai vacation a memorable one. We strongly recommend to families & small groups.

The condo was a perfect size, there were just two us us but there was also a pullout bed in the living room. Great views from the balcony and very little noise from the upstairs neighbors. Parking is a 30 second walk and plenty of spots available. Great location on the island where you can go either north or south and not be in the car all day. Would stay here again.

Wonderful view, beautifully landscaped property. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops and very close to Safeway and Longs (< 1 mile). Good central location for exploring in all three directions. Takes a while to get use to the loudness of the waves but you will. Only area of improvement would be quality of the sheets. We were spoiled by previous properties.

We couldn’t have been happier with our condo rental for our 2-week stay. The unit was very nice , bed comfortable, kitchen well equipped, laundry facility nice, lanai lovely, parking convenient, and the view, pool, beach and grounds were nothing short of spectacular. The property manager was very attentive and helpful when we discovered the iron would not work at all (we needed it as we brought all our clothes unironed). She borrowed one from someone in the complex and had them leave it for us within a short time. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.
PS: Our only complaint was having only one dishcloth provided. 🤣

This was a perfect location with many options to dine. The pool was great and never overcrowded, the beach was a little busier but not bad. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We spent a good amount of time on the lanai and really enjoyed listening to the ocean. The condo was spacious with a great layout for 3 adults. Anytime I had a questions the owners were fast to respond.

Absolutely perfect location if you plan to travel thoughout the island as we did. Everything in the condo is quality. It might have been best if the listing had indicated no A/C (of if it did I didn't see it), but it really wasn't that bad.

This property is awesome!!! We arrived just in time to register the car before the office closed. Easy! Then dropped bags & changed for a luau. Property is centrally located so going either direction is quick. My teenage granddaughter was blown away by the decor of the condo and especially the kitchen which has EVERYTHING you need for a budding chef. It is better outfitted than my kitchen at home!
The double shower is amazing, as you feel you are in the forest under the banyan tree.
The girls loved the Murphy bed, very comfortable. And the sounds of the waves at night with the breezes off the ocean kept everyone comfortable.
The grounds are well kept and quite beautiful!
The first morning there was a refreshing shower that ended with a rainbow!!! We wish we could have stayed longer.

This was our first experience using a VRBO property-- and it exceeded all our expectations! The speed and accuracy of communication was very helpful-- and the beauty of the property surpasses even the photos. The location is ideal, and close to anything you will need-- yet feels remote and private. The decor is beautiful, and there are many thoughtful touches.
If you are debating about booking here--- grab it quickly! You will not be disappointed.
