My wife and I came here on our 10-year anniversary and it did not disappoint! The neighborhood was generally very quiet throughout the day and night, and filled with the chickens that roam the island. We enjoyed just sitting on the balcony and soaking in the beautiful views of the golf course and ocean.
The house is perfectly furnished for a relaxing time, and the beach accessories made available by Pamela were incredibly helpful and appreciated! When the windows and glass doors were open, the breeze throughout the building felt great and cooled down very quickly.
The general location of the home is perfect for going anywhere on the island and we were able to see much of what the island has to offer.
Overall, it was a great stay and we would highly recommend it to any low maintenance couples out there!

My wife and I celebrated our twenty year anniversary at this beautiful condo! As advertised- it was right on the golf course with a stunning view of the ocean. It was tucked away about 5 minutes into the Princeville area. Easy access to the local town shopping center (walkable- but would take about 15 minutes). They had all the beach amenities to use, kitchen well stocked with cooking supplies along with washer/ dryer if needing to do a load of laundry. Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment is in a great neighborhood and a beautiful view and location. The owner is amazing very flexible, allowing us to switch the dates of our stay. She responded very promptly and was so kind to send over some recommendations as well. The house itself is a bit run down, and there was a left over dishes, laundry, items in the fridge left from previous guests which was less than ideal. There also was an ant problem which I could tell is probably common in the area especially with the whether and there was traps set up to help.

Property is beautiful - a great location within minutes of the ocean with a scenic overlook!
A couple of things to note -
The front door did not fully lock. There are "2" doors locking this property - a metal framed exterior door and an interior conventional wooden door. The interior wooden door did not lock but had a note from housekeeping denoting that homeowner was made aware of this. This would have been good to know prior to our arrival. Never felt unsafe or caused issue, but given a locking front door is a key safety feature this would have been nice to know.
Additionally, all of the curtains in this condo are sheer, and therefore it is not the most private. It has no secondary window treatments to cover over the sheer so keep this in mind when considering this property as well.
Smaller things like fans not working were not big issues, but when we intentionally chose this property without air conditioning it would have been nice to have all fans working - especially in the bedroom.
Overall it was a great launchpad for all of our island activities.

We truly had everything we needed to feel at home. The place was also so much nicer and more spacious than we expected. Beautiful view of the water from the bedroom/living room and located in a quiet neighborhood. The place is only a few minutes drive to the Princeville Center which has a Foodland for groceries and a couple of great food options such as B’s Restaurant for a nice dinner/drinks and The Spot for breakfast/fresh aca’i bowls. Only 15 minute drive to Hanalei which was our favorite part of the island with lots of cute food trucks, shops and a chill beach to spend all day swimming & relaxing. Would definitely return and stay again if available. Thanks for such lovely hospitality!

If I could give this condo 100 stars, I would. It was absolutely perfect! Well stocked, so much attention to detail. We were originally going to stay at a resort across the golf course and SO glad we cancelled. We had the most fabulous view, and the owners have put so much thought and detail into their home. The bed was comfy, never was uncomfortable with the fans and trade winds. The floorplan is outstanding; just views after views!!!! Mahalo and until we meet again!!!

We loved this place. It was pretty roomy, it's actually a bit bigger than it looked in the pictures to us. I hated being on a golf course because I hate golf but my wife didn't mind. We didn't have problems with the golfers or anything though. And being able to see the ocean from the back patio was just awesome!
Kitchen was well stocked with equipment but not so much supplies, we had to buy a number of basics. But we had all the cookware/tableware/etc. we needed.
Other reviews have noted that the bedroom can be a little stuffy and they're right. We had to sleep on the couch on muggier nights.
There was a good supply of beach stuff, just be sure to check it before you count on using it: for example, one of the chairs was broken, and none of the snorkel gear was large enough to fit me. So we just rented that stuff, and there was other beach stuff that we did get good use out of, including an umbrella, one (not broken) chair, a nice big cooler bag, and a few other things.
Anyway, I just wanted to point out the issues other people might want to know about. Overall the place was great!
Last thought: if you stay here, and if you're up for walking the path down to SeaLodge Beach, don't miss it! It's secluded and lovely.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pamela’s condo! This was our third time visiting Kauai and this was our best rental experience yet. Location is perfect, views of the water from literally every room, and sunrise from bed! Nearby beaches in Princeville were a walk or bike ride away, and Hanalei is only 10 mins drive. The pictures did not do this place justice! The kitchen had more than we needed to cook a number of our meals at home. Nice flooring through the condo. The breezes through the condo kept us cool and comfy. The golf-side lanai was a perfect place for relaxing and napping during the hottest hours of the day. The place was clean and bright- the first time we haven’t had to deal with ants on this island! Pamela was easy to get in touch with when we had some initial internet issues and was gracious in helping us with a later check out than we originally planned. Can’t say enough good things about this place! We will definitely be back! Mahalo Pamela!

Cute little place but no air conditioning and it was super humid while we were there. 5 fans in the place but it was still like a sauna. Will not be coming back to Kauai in September. 2 of the 3 beach chairs were broken as was the umbrella so we could not use them when going to the beach. The bed was very comfortable but we had a hard time sleeping because the guy above us was super noisy. Would wake us up at all hours. If you can come to Kauai when it’s not so humid this would be a nice place to stay. It rained almost everyday we were here. We loved going to Hanalei and driving around the beautiful island in our air conditioned car. We have been to Kauai many times and this was the most humid and rainy time ever. This is not the fault of the property owner just the time of year.

This was a thoughtfully decorated home in Princeville with plenty of seating space, towels, comfortable linens, and kitchen supplies. It looks out to a golf course that drops off a cliff for nice ocean views but no beach views or view of the larger mountain range of the Napali coast. The first day I saw a moderate sized cockroach on the bathroom sink beside my toothbrush but the host was nice enough to have someone come out and seal the piping in the bathroom. There was already a roach trap in the bathroom so there may be one there every once in a while. Overall could use a deeper clean. There’s a in unit washer/dryer, beach supplies, and 5 min from local restaurants and 30 min from start of Napali coast trail.

This place had great high ceilings and windows for multiple views of the ocean. You can see sunrises and sunsets from just outside the property. You can also see the big waterfall off the back of the lani looking back at the mountains. Pamela has everything you need to venture to beaches and she was very quick at getting anything we needed, I.e replacing previously damaged umbrella with a new one for our stay. It’s good to set up the fans in front of the bed and the screen doors at night, while leaving the front door open and locking the screen so a good breeze flows through the whole condo. The wifi was good the entire time except for one day. Location is great for getting to restaurants and beaches. The only problem we ran into were the bugs in the condo, it’s an island and you’re on the first floor so you’re going to have that sometimes.

Princeville was recommended to me by my brother as the most beautiful spot on the island to stay and he was not kidding. We drove the whole island and Princeville was truly the most lush and beautiful. This rental was perfect with ocean views and had everything we needed. Pamela was very easy to get a hold of and was very quick to respond. Every morning we woke up and walked out the back patio we were greeted with beautiful ocean view and all sorts of bird visitors. It was very quit and peaceful and clean. We cannot wait to go back.

I would have given all 5 stars but we arrived late and our unit hadn’t been cleaned! That being said the cleaning person got her dates mixed and the owner was helpful and reimbursed us one night and the cleaning fees the next day. Also, the person showed up the next morning “Mother’s Day” to clean. Very nice location and enjoyable stay!

We loved staying here. There's something to be said for having an entire condo to yourself (vs a hotel room). The location was perfect in quiet Princeville - a quick drive to small surrounding towns. This condo was absolutely perfect for our first trip to Hawaii. It has everything you could possibly need and more! We arrived in the dark and when we woke up, we couldn't believe we were staring at the ocean and the sunrise from our bed. We made it a point to watch the sunrise every morning which was one of the highlights of our trip. Also, we would highly recommend the Makai Sunset Golf Cart Cruise, right on the same course. We learned so much and had a great time doing it. All in all, this condo is a great deal at a great price. You can't go wrong!

Our first time on Kauai and this was the place to be! Great communication with the host, the place is clean and is a perfect location for north side exploration. We appreciated the amenities, beach chairs, towels, Ice packs and coolers. Very helpful so travelers don’t have to pack or buy. Lots of geckos, inside and out. Don’t be alarmed if you hear them or occasionally find droppings. Sealodge beach is a short walk and amazing snorkeling. Tunnels beach was also a gem, note road construction and closures to Hanalei due to a landslide. We are looking forward to our next trip already!

No access to the beach right in the backyard but spectacular views and several adventures within the neighborhood including queens bath and beach access only 5 minutes away. Fantastic condo! Has everything you need for a carefree holiday: kitchen with every appliance/dish/utensil you might need, closet filled with beach items (chairs, umbrella, cooler), easy parking and access, and the best sunrise view from the bed. The cross breeze was so refreshing at night, and it was convenient having a washer/dryer in the condo. Quick drive to the north shore, and the walking path is perfect for a morning run or visit to Queen’s Bath. We can’t wait to come back again!

Our Princeville home was the perfect vacation spot for us! We loved the wonderful view of the golf course with the ocean just beyond. The home had a beautiful panoramic view from almost every room!
From this location we were able to take our daily walks, make quick runs to the grocery store and even spent time at the beach!
We stay at many homes throughout the year, and we were so impressed and pleased how well the home had everything you needed, especially in the kitchen for food preparation (we really appreciated having the rice cooker!).
We look forward to staying again!

My husband and I stayed for a little over a week and loved it. The place was clean and had everything we needed including everything for the beach! The bed was comfortable and it was great to wake up to the sunrise every morning. Sitting on the patio and watching the golfers was great. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it!

My sisters (3) and I all 4 of us stayed at the condo, and it was perfect! We thought it may be a bit cramped, but no issues at all. . Can't beat the location, very comfortable, and equiped with all that is needed for a delightful stay. We cooked and used the kitchen daily! and there was nothing we needed. We chose this condo for our honeymoon on Kauai.
Pros:
- Kitchen & beach amenities. We loved having all the beach towels, chairs, and cooler that we'd pack up everyday. The kitchen was well stocked, except most of the tupperware containers did not have matching lids. We loved the wine glasses to enjoy a glass of wine on the lanai at night.
- How quiet the property was in the morning and evening.
- The beautiful sunrises
- The large, sliding glass doors were nice to get a breeze into the house on hot days because the condo doesn't have A/C. Also was nice to have extra fans for this same reason.
- Washer & Dryer!!
- The Kauai guidebook that is available is such an awesome resource to use! It was so helpful in picking out beaches to go to or places to see.
"Cons":
- The shower seemed a little dated/dingy/old. Could use a serious deep clean or remodeling.
- A bigger bed. We have a queen sized bed at home and this condo advertises having a queen bed but it seemed more like a double size.
- Location did not end up being the best for us. We spent most of our time on the south shore or west shore due to it being very rainy in Princeville during our stay. Not on the fault of the Owner or rental at all. Just something we experienced.
- As much as we loved the beach amenities, the towels could be replaced as they are getting old, hole-y, thin.
The owner had great communication from day 1! We really appreciated it with it being our honeymoon and first time to Kauai. I would recommend this condo for a couple looking to escape busy life and wanting to relax.

If there was an option to give more than 5 stars, we gladly would! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pamela's GORGEOUS condo. The location was wonderful. It is right on a golf course. There is such natural wildlife milling around. It was awesome to see all the different kinds of birds right out back while sitting on the lanai. The condo was clean, large and perfect for a quiet getaway to end our Hawaiian adventure. The kitchen was incredibly spacious and had everything (down to the CUTEST little wooden coffee scooper!). We ended up getting groceries from the Foodland Grocery store (3 minutes away) and cooking a lot of our meals in the condo. Having a private BBQ was also a plus. We ate several meals at the table on the back lanai while watching sky change colors as the sun set. We ended up using lots of the beach equipment and took it with us to discover new beaches on the island. It was so nice to have the beach chairs, an umbrella, snorkeling stuff and boogey boards. Although most of the activities we did were located more toward the south of the island, and required some long drives, we wouldn't trade our stay in Princeville for anything. Pamela was awesome to work with. She was easy to contact and answered all of our questions. I loved the color scheme of the condo so much, she even got me the names of the different paint colors she used. I may try to recreate it in our home! We cannot thank you enough for such a wonderful stay, Pamela. We hope that we can return to Kauai in the future and stay at your lovely place!

As a belated 40th anniversary gift, my husband and I decided to travel to the beautiful Hawaiian island of Kaua'i. We are RCI members and thought we would book through them. FORTUNATELY for us, there was very little available so we checked out the Homeaway website and found Pamela's wonderful condo in Princeville. Even with the exchange rate this was much better value than any timeshare we've stayed in. Not only did the condo provide everything we needed for our week's stay (wifi, large screen TV, barbecue, cork screw ;) etc.- as Canadians our only request would be a kettle for our morning tea), BUT the location on the 15th fairway overlooking the ocean was beyond anything we could have ever imagined.. The pictures really didn't do it justice. Everything was perfect! First of all, we couldn't believe how quiet it was! All we could ever hear was the lovely sound of the waves crashing on the shores below and the sweet notes of songbirds in the trees around us (Before we left, I videotaped the sights and these sounds as a wonderful memory of our vacation.) That first night, sitting on the lanai, looking out at the beautiful view, we toasted ourselves on our great choice. The lovely community of Princeville, situated between the mountains and ocean, where the condo is located, offers so many amenities in addition to shaded treed walkways and the golf course. There is also a small shopping plaza within walking distance to get groceries and an ice cream treat. The small town of Hanalei is only a 10 minute scenic drive away and has great places to eat as well as several specialty gift and craft stores. The local market on Tuesdays provides lots of homegrown produce and homemade foods for lunches and suppers at the condo. AND OF COURSE, there are the many magnificent and very natural beaches located in every direction around Princeville that you can visit every day for sunbathing, swimming or surfing. Our week went very fast but we will DEFINITELY book Pamela's condo again. It felt like home! It was a pleasure to deal with Pamela before and after our trip. She was always quick to respond to any of our requests and queries. Thank you, Pamela, for sharing your Hawaiian paradise with us!

I looked for 3 weeks on which city to stay in before I finally booked the trip. Thank God that we chose this condo and the location. I almost booked in Kapaa which had many homeless people on the beach path. Princeville was VERY nice and the location and the view are outstanding. The condo had everything that we needed and more. It was easy to drive the entire island, but the north was the most relaxing area on the island and had the best beaches. There is a grocery store within 3 minutes from the condo. We stopped at Costco when we flew in and the prices were very good. The views of the ocean, the flowers, and the birds around the unit were very nice. The unit is in a very clean safe area and was easy to find. My wife and I like to travel and have never returned to the same location. This was such a nice location and island we may return in the future. Working with Pamela to book the condo was easy and we got our deposit back in about a week. There is a reason that this locations has such great reviews. Just book it!

I spent 5 amazing days at Pamela’s beautiful condo it has an amazing view of the ocean and it sits by the 15th fairway of the Princeville Hanalei Makai golf course (a beyond beautiful community) so well manicured. The condo has everything you could possibly need there including all you need to have fun outdoors exploring this beautiful island.
I went alone and this was my first time in Kauai and Pamela was always available to me, she was like my virtual tour guide. I saw some of the most amazing sunrise’s right there at her condo having my tea planning my day of adventure. This condo is so beautifully decorated it has vaulted ceilings with all glass floor to ceiling on the back yard side right on the golf course & ocean view side of the house. It’s located on one of the most beautiful communities in Kauai the grounds are so clean and so well manicured. This place is beyond beautiful so close to the best beaches, the caves all the places you need to see and experience when you come to this tropical paradise. I highly recommend this condo, I can’t wait till I can come back, will stay here again for sure! Thank you Pamela for making this vacation a dream come true experience for me!
