Damage & House Rules Policy / Guest Responsibilities.
We inspect every condo at every check out. We again inspect every condo before every Guest Arrival.
We have documentation for each condo to assure the condo is good condition and working order before your arrival.
1) Guest is responsible to pay for any missing/broken/damaged items, extra check out cleaning & for a drain or toilet that requires clearing due to Guest clogging the drain or toilet. Every condo has a plunger for the toilet. If you clog the toilet, please use the plunger provided. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 2) Do not use the Kitchen Sink Garbage disposal for potato peels, fruit rinds, banana peels, pineapples, egg shells, noodles, rice etc. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 3) Sand: Please rinse off all sand (self and gear) before entering the hotel/condo (there are rinsing stations at the beach) to avoid extra cleaning fee and clogging the shower drains. 4) Lanai: Please do not hang towels or other items from the lanai. Please do not feed the birds. 5) No smoking in condo, on lanai or in common areas. Guest charged to have upholstery, drapes and linens cleaned, deodorized. 6) Guest responsible to pay for locksmith if they lock themselves out the of the bathrooms or damage a lock.
CANCELLATIONS:
1) Reservation deposit is non-refundable. 2) Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the check in date can have the deposit applied to another stay at the same condo within one year of the original check in date. 3) Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit. 4) Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit and rental balance payment. 5) We encourage you to get travel insurance so a cancellation can be recovered.
Rentals are not transferable to another party. No Smoking Condo. No Pets

This property looked like it had been decorated in 1980, and no repairs or updating had been done since. The hanging blinds were broken, and the repairman said he had worked on them before, but parts were broken, and he could only set them in closed position. They needed to be replaced. Living room floor also had water damage, and slats had buckled, causing people to trip when they walked in that area. Living room light fixture was very dim, and there were no comfortable chairs at all, except for the patio chairs, which we could bring in.
On the other hand, the view and location were excellent. And management did bring over a broom, dustpan, and enough toilet paper for 4 people when asked.

We enjoyed staying here! Excellent view from the lanai of the ocean and sunset. It is close to many activities. We had trouble getting ahold of anyone from property management when we needed something. Voicemail was full and slow response to email. They were very nice when we finally got ahold of someone. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

The room was overall nice and everything was in working order, the air conditioner worked well but is very loud. No real personal touches, but it worked for what we needed. Elevators were pretty slow and the restaurant shut down during our stay, but the ice cream shop at the Ilikai was excellent!

This place is conveniently located to shops, parks and the beach. Beds were comfortable, the space was clean and it was fairly quiet. The air conditioner was quite loud. It was too hot to sleep without it but too noisy to sleep with it. Overall it was a great place and I would recommend it.

We had a lovely stay in room 1826 for 7 nights (2 adults, 2 kids). The room was clean and fresh and had beautiful views of the marina which was particularly amazing for watching sunsets. The kitchen was well stocked and the beach chairs and beach bag were useful additions. It did get a bit cramped after 7 days, especially with no daily service. The hotel facilities are great and it is about a 15 min drive walk to the main area of Waikiki and a 10min walk to Ala Moana shops.

The Ilikai hotel itself is undergoing some renovations but it is an iconic hotel with lovely landscaping. The condo is exactly as the pictures portray and we were well pleased. The third member of our party did not make the trip and she was to have slept on the futon couch, so I cannot report whether it is comfortable or not. The two beds were comfy. Having a full kitchen was helpful in keeping food costs down. It was well stocked with pots/pans/plates etc. The only condiments were salt/pepper. There is a nice grocery store called Food Pantry a few blocks away.
There is a lagoon attached to the Ilikai, but I much preferred walking over to “magic island”. The condo also came equipped with beach towels, chairs, umbrella, cooler, and boogie boards.
All in all, we had a great time in a very nice condo and I would definitely stay here again!

Great apartment in a fantastic location. Everything was as stated in the listing. Extensively furnished kitchen. Boogie boards, beach umbrella & beach towels provided were much appreciated. Amazing views - fantastic being on the sunset side of the building. Staying here was a highlight of our time in Hawaii and we would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.
