We stayed in this Nihilani condo (32C) for 9 nights June 2023. It was well equipped and very clean. The location is great and close to several north shore beaches including Ke’e, Tunnels, Hideaway, Sealodge and Anini. The property manager Hawaii Life was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved the Place it is very spacious and is the bigger than the pictures give it credit for. The only down side is pulling into the Garage especially if you rent a bigger vehicle. It is doable but can take a bit.

We had the pleasure of staying here for 6 weeks. It is a very beautiful place that is beautifully decorated and set up. We loved being all upstairs with lots of natural light coming in the windows. We loved the pool area and the entire complex is beautifully landscaped. Immaculate clean and very tastefully decorated.

We have stayed in VRBO properties all over and many in the Princeville area before. This one was the best! Kitchen supplies, bedding, furniture, etc were all more than adequately supplied and high quality. We appreciated the extra puzzles and games that we used late in the evenings. This is a great location for all things needed on the north shore of Kauai.

This home is gorgeous and bright, so many windows! Spotless, and fully equipped with every possible thing! Beach gear, cleaning supplies, puzzles, books. Even little first aide and sewing kits. The pool area is gorgeous and so close. We would stay here again, absolutely.

Very clean and huge! also has all the things needed in the kitchen and even boogie boards, surfboards, beach chairs, beach coolers etc. We didnt need to use the air con. it was good with just the fans.

We loved staying at this beautiful condo. It was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen however was not as well-equipped for cooking meals... more cooking utensils needed (wooden). There were no coffee filters or a permanent filter to make coffee. We were only supplied one roll of paper towels for a 7-night stay. Two would have been nice. The dishwasher was broken, but we managed just fine. There was, however, a smell under the sink that was never resolved during our stay. We did find someone's leftover food container under the sink, but that was not the culprit. We also found dirty dishes (cups) in the cupboard - yuck! Aside from these little things which was no biggie in the scheme of things, we had a lovely time staying at this condo and we would definitely stay here again.

Our family had a wonderful stay in our condo which was beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. The kitchen was stocked well, allowing us to prepare our meals and use enjoy our dinners outside on the patio. The washer and dryer was a plus, the dishwasher wasn’t working, was the downside..but we managed. Overall, a great stay in Princeville. We can’t wait to return!

This is our new favorite place to stay on Kauai. The condo was well equipped, clean and so very comfortable for our family. We loved how light and airy the condo was and Ac was a plus. We enjoyed each morning on the lanai. Barbara was super responsive and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay in paradise!

This was our 2nd time staying at Hale Kula Kai we absolutely love this place! Right when you step into the door you feel like you are home. It’s so clean, it has everything you need to go to the beach right away. Our boys love the surf boards! We had the pleasure to meet the neighbor who lives below and he is just the sweetest guy! The house has everything you need to make a gourmet mealOr just a simple grilled cheese 😊 The best place we found to eat that was close to the condo was the North Shore grill it’s right there in Princeville they have the best Hamburger called the “Braddah Burger” so good! And great pizza! Hawaii life was so great to work with when we had to reschedule because Of COVID. They are the best company! We cannot wait to stay here again next year!!

The property itself was lovely, clean and well appointed. However the management was very difficult to deal with. So I would NOT recommend this property to anyone. My advice would be to find another property nearby and stay clear of this place. We had a toilet clog after using it normally and now have been accused of negligence. We are told that they will retain our deposit and we will not get it back. Unfortunately dealing with the management of the property has been unpleasant and difficult. Stay away!

I suspect that you could rent a lot of dumps in Kauai, but this is the opposite. There is no ocean view, but the price is right, the development is well done, the grounds are nice, and the unit is tastefully and thoroughly supplied. Spotlessly clean, from the linens to the floors, several local reference books, and even a printer for those boarding passes on the last day. The kitchen is well supplied, and the washer and dryer are good quality. Little (but significant) extras, like beach towels, bikes, surfboards, are all appreciated.
As to whether or not you stay in Princeville - well, there is no clear answer. P-ville is purely a residential community. There is nothing else there. Hanalei Bay is 5 minutes down the road, and it’s where you go to see this part of Kauai. The weather is far cloudier and wetter, but it’s Hanalei Bay, for Goodness sake, and that in itself is magical. Throw in the allure of a hike or sail on the Napali Coast, and there is reason enough to stay here. But if you want the sun and warmth, be ready to head south to Poipou. Count on 90 minutes - the traffic is quite bad. In fact, leave two hours to get to the airport - traffic is staggering.
We had lots of rain, but also sun. We’ll be back.
