We have stayed at the Palms many times. This was a very good unit. Property manager is doing an excellent job. Location is great. Short distance to the beach. Chairs, towels, etc were appreciated
Few minor repairs needed. Front screen door piston. It slams and the door stop on the front door.
Overall, another wonderful stay.

The location of the rental was great, however the photos were misleading. It was really only one bedroom with a den they put folding doors over to call it a second bedroom. The lighting was terrible and we couldn’t even see to get ready in the morning. The kitchen has everything but the knives were so dull it made the cooking very difficult. The front light was burned out and the faucets leaked and toilets were running when we arrived. It feels as if the place hadn’t been cared for in a very long time. We would not recommend it.

Loved the oversized beach towels and beach chairs. My only negative is the water heater is meant for a small group, not 6 people. There was only hot water for the one who showered first, the rest had cold showers.
Other than that, we had a great time and loved the beautiful sunsets and stars from the deck.

This is the second time we stayed at the Palms and the first time at this unit.The AC in the master bedroom had mechanical issues before our arrival and CBIP installed a temporary ac unit in the bedroom, Thank you. The unit is nicely furnished and well equipped. We would defiantly stay here again.

All went well after air conditioning was fixed and new towels and a beach chair were replaced by management. Had to have bbq serviced…stove top issues were addressed. Unit only gave us a couple rolls of toilet paper which has always been plenty on other places we’ve stayed…
Lastly there isn’t enough spoons which is easily fixable…may want to pay attention to some cooking utensils which are few.
All in all a comfortable unit that was in good location.

Overall the condo was a great fit for us. The location and layout were great. Unit was clean and check-in and check-out were easy. We did have issues with the Wi-Fi. We followed all the trouble shooting steps with no relief, and when we texted property management for assistance they never got back to us.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was clean and was fully A/C which is not automatic in Hawaii. The patio area was really big. We especially appreciated all the beach equipment and the hose on the patio to get rid of sand. It's a decent walk to the beach but doable.

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Palms at Wailea. The unit was clean and appointed well for our stay. We enjoyed the beach chairs and cooler provided. Directions given were easy to follow. We did experience a plumbing issue, but the management team responded quickly and were working through the issue. It did not get resolved while we were there, but they made every effort to problem solve the source.

We had a great stay in beautiful Maui. The condo was very clean and well equipped. CBIP Vacations LLC were amazing to deal with and always responded promptly and courteously. The condo location is fantastic & the grounds are very well taken care of. I will definitely go back. The only downfall are the strict swimming pool rules - no playing games like Marco Polo and/or pool floaties or ball throwing/catching games allowed. Also no music speakers allowed , only earbuds...we opted for the beach as that is where we would rather be anyway so this was a very small inconvenience for us. We loved the food truck food, especially Outrigger Pizza - amazing and Kobe Japanese Steakhouse is a must! Our favourite beach was Keawakapu Beach which is just down the road, unreal !! Our stay was a 10 out of 10!!

The Palms of Wailea is a beautiful resort that is now 30 years old. And while this unit is top floor, no where in the listing does it mention there are 36 steps down and then up, to get into this unit! By ADA standards I find this appalling not be mentioned in the VRBO listing. I was 10-weeks recovering from knee replacement surgery and my spouse is blind. Had we known this we never would have booked this unit.
The headline “Beautifully upgraded” obviously has been used since the original listing, decades ago.. The condo is very tired and needs updating (despite the lovely looking photos). While spacious and accommodating, the furniture was old, the bedspreads threadbare from washing, and in the kitchen, gross utensils, few plates and silverware, and overwashed plastic cups, in addition to no food storage.
The owner would also benefit from cleaning out the smelly outdoor chair storage unit, half of which are broken, and enough old sandbox toys for an army our children. Which reminds me of the bloody-screaming toddler that lives in the unit downstairs; Not the quiet happy hour I imagined on the lanai.
That said, on short notice it allowed us to stay an additional 3 days, after 10-days at a beautiful oceanfront Kaanapali resort. I have visited Maui for 40 years and lived there for 5 plus before returning to the mainland. I know property maintenance and weekly turnover is hard on any property. But a few updates would have made our stay more pleasant.
My recommendation is that the representing party clarify the listing as to not disappoint future tenants, as I will certainly never rent this condo again.

We enjoyed our time in 2016 and spent quite a bit of time enjoying the Lanai which is good sized. We were thankful for the beach chairs and cooler and used them every day. This is a good condo for either two couples or a small family. The heated pool is really nice (and warm!) and the pictures do not do it justice. However I would warn that it is a bit of a hike up the hill from the condo which was fine for those of us wanting a bit of extra exercise but not so great for the 77 year old in our group. There are also a lot of steps to get to the condo which is just good to know about in advance. We are all over-packers with huge suitcases so keep that in mind. There are two really nice beaches that you can walk to (uphill on the return) but also have parking lots and we did not have any issues finding parking spots. Mahalo!

We rented two units, 2106 and 2104, in July 2021, and paid for both in January 2022. Two weeks before we were due to arrive,(which was Easter break) Coldwell Banker informed us that they had sold 2104 and were making arrangements for another condo at Ekahi, unit 25A. My son, daughter in law and two grandchildren stayed there instead of next door to us in 2106. This necessitated getting another automobile for them, additional groceries and the inconvenience to having to go to another complex to see each other. I met the new brother of the new owner of 2104. His brother bought the place and remodeled it, well before the two week notice that we received. Had we received timely notice, we might have found something more convenient for our two families. Coldwell Banker was negligent in their responsibilities to us, especially since we had a reservation and had paid for the properties. We are not to happy with Coldwell Banker.

In all, our stay in The Palms at Wailea was very relaxing. It offers more space than a typical hotel room, with the option of being able to cook your own meals if you want to. Although the master bedroom needed some upgrading, it was very comfortable. Our only major problem was a power outage while plugging in a provided night light, which couldn’t be fixed until the following morning. I would also suggest the master bedroom carpet be professionally cleaned, or replaced. There were wear spots and obvious places where something had been spilled, which was our only major complaint with the property.

All was as expected. Nice sunsets from the terrace. The layout is very spacious with lovely views from every window. The pool is nice but very few lounge chairs. The complex is in a good location but not as walkable as we'd like. Unfortunately, the AC kept going out due to all 3 wall units being run at the same time. The maintenance office closes at 5:00 with no technicians available till mornings which made it unbearable at night. Nice, helpful people each time we called. Overall I would recommend

This property was beautiful and we would stay here again. The unit was clean and well appointed. We loved having our own bbq on our private balcony. During our second week, construction started on a unit beside us and it was very noisy. The property manager dealt with it satisfactorily and fairly quickly
At times, it was frustrating to get a hold of the property manager as it always went to voice mail during regular office hours and we had to wait for a call back.

Perfect condo for our family of 5. Our two boys (15yo and 8yo) shared the queen bed and my husband, baby girl , and I slept in the master. The condo was so spacious and clean.. Having a washer and dryer available to use was a life saver! The lanai was so peaceful to relax in. The condo is very close to the beach, shops, restaurants etc. Oh and the pool was great ! It was a short walk up the grassy hill. The hours were reduced and closed earlier than we had thought (6pm) . The management team called and texted to make sure we were okay and answered my text within a short time frame when I had a question. Would definitely stay again !
