We were in awe of the ocean views, especially at sunsets. The size of the condo was so perfect for us 4 adults. We will never go anywhere else but this. Thank-you so much to the owner for making our vacation so perfect!!!!

I write this review to say the location, property and unit were lovely. Our timing was terrible in that we arrived the day of the wildfires and tropical storm. There was no electricity, hot water, internet or reliable cell service on the whole west side of the island. The roads were closed and nothing was open so we were stranded here for a few days. That being said, my daughter enjoyed swimming in the ocean and playing on the beach. The access to the beach couldn’t have been easier. We obviously could not enjoy the amenities and our stay was cut short due to evacuation. But I would love to stay here again under better circumstance. The host was very responsive. During such tragic and unexpected times, the few staff and front desk ladies were so kind and helpful. As soon as the west side is ready for visitors, I would highly recommend this property. Our thoughts are with Maui and all who have lost so much🙏💔.

This condo was amazing. The third floor location right on the ocean gave us amazing views. It is updated inside and very well stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed the welcome basket too. My husband and I enjoyed waking up every morning and sitting out on the balcony. The beach access was perfect and we were able to go in whenever we wanted.

We had a wonderful stay. The location is fantastic with a wonderful beach front view. I never missed a day to have morning coffee and watch every sunset on the lanai. I stayed with my wife and two older kids (20 & 22). The unit was clean and comfortable. We had a busy week, this place was the perfect place to call home. We loved watching all of the turtles swimming by, that never got old. Renee was great to deal with, great communicator.

We would definitely stay here again. Condo decor is gorgeous and comfortable with everything you need to cook in or just lounge. My kid loved the pool, and the adults liked the lounge chairs and shade from the many umbrellas. Access to the beach was an easy climb over sand bags and I spent each morning with my toes in the sand watching the waves (beach access may be more challenging for those with mobility issues…no ramps or hand rails available). The view from the balcony lanai was amazing. It’s even better than the photos. We were a little late for whale season, but we did see some in the distance and some sea turtles up close. There are multiple good restaurants/take out available within a few minutes walk or drive. The master bedroom mattress was too firm for us, but we prefer a softer memory foam style. Despite that, we would absolutely rent again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The layout of the condo is perfect for a family with older children. The balcony provided an unprecedented view of both -- Lanai and Molokai. We loved watching the whales, too. The property was clean and had a well-stocked kitchen. The communication with the owner was seamless. We look forward to staying here again!

Incredible location. The wrap around lanai over the ocean and pool are the top selling points. Property is very clean and service is excellent. Interior decor if the unit is a bit dated, but we spent almost no time inside. Will stay here in the future.

This condo is extremely comfortable for four adults. Each couple had their own bathroom and a half bath to share. The kitchen is very well stocked with pot/pans, utensils. coffee filters, olive oil and spices. The absolute best aspect of this place is the amazing whale & sea turtle watching from the balcony. Really no beach right in front but can easily access a bit further on foot or drive to a near by one. A lovely welcome basket is provided which is a very nice touch.

Wonderful stay! The views from the deck were amazing. This place had everything we needed and more…. Sunscreen, beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, cooler, sand mats. In the kitchen there were spices, sugar, everything for delicious coffee in the morning. There was a welcome basket with local drinks, 2 boxes of macadamia nut chocolates and other drinks and goodies. This was so nice because we checked in late and had a little something to eat and drink before we made it to the supermarket. Everything was wonderful, thank you, thank you! Mahalo

Gorgeous Views, very awesome set up and welcome. The pool was warm, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked including things like cooking oil, spices, BBQ tools, etc. Close to everything you want to do. 10 minutes up North to watch the surfers hit the big stuff and 15 minutes to Lahaina proper. We really didnt want to leave.

We were very happy with our stay. We mainly picked the condo for the large living room area, and great views. We had plenty of room for all of us and it was great to come back to the condo after a long day at the beach and be able to sprawl out on the large sectional. The A/C worked well. The week we were there it was in the high 80’s with a lot of humidity. So we were happy we chose a place with A/C. The condo was clean and set up well. You have all you need for the beaches. We would definitely rebook again.

Good location, right on the beach, easy access to bars and restaurants. Cannot beat the beautiful views. Keep in mind it is an older building but well maintained and great staff on property. Saw at least a dozen turtles a day right in the ocean in front of resort. Pool was quiet, bbq pits were great and clean. The unit had all the stuff we needed for the pool and beach like snorkels, boogie boards, pool noodles and towels.

Fully enjoyed our stay at Royal Kahana. The condo unit has plenty of room, and great views of ocean (wrap around balcony since this is a 3rd floor corner unit). Be aware that this area in Maui has suffered beach erosion, so while beach is present, it's not as wide as it could be. That said, it' very swimmable, and sea turtles can be seen from the balcony. There is also a very nice pool available for swimming, as well as lawn chairs facing the pool & ocean. We enjoyed visiting both Black Rock and Kapalua beaches (and Kapalua beach trail), which are all nearby.

This property was in a great location. Right on the beachfront. We had several nights of great sunsets. We saw lots of turtles. Fell asleep to the sounds of the surf every night. Property came well equipped with everything needed to make meals and drinks. There were plenty of beach toys, snorkles, chairs, etc. No regrets with this stay.

Pictures don’t do justice! This condo was exactly as described! Beautiful! Location was perfect. Just about center to everything. You can snorkel and swim right outside this condo, or enjoy the pool, but with so much to do in Maui you will most likely head into town! Love this place! Will definitely rent this place again. Our family of four enjoyed the week together. View off the porch is amazing, plenty of space. Enjoyed watching turtles swim by and using the snorkel gear provided in the unit. We appreciated not having to pick beach towels, chairs, towels, umbrella. The gym, bags game, ping pong and grills were convenient when we weren’t out exploring.

We a family of 4 adults and 2 kids stayed at this property for 6 days ! The property is in a perfect location, very close to all the attractions. The condo itself is very well maintained and fully stocked . The check in process was very smooth and the host is great to work with. We had absolutely no issues during our stay. Our request to combine the beds in the second bedroom to make a king bed was promptly attended to and ready when we checked in. We enjoyed the sunset views from the condo itself. Will definitely recommend this beautiful house to everyone . Thanks a lot Renee for hosting us ! We will definitely come back and stay at your place during our next visit as well.

From the moment you open the doors, you are greeted with the Aloha spirit. Wrap around ocean views makes you feel like you are on a private yacht floating between Lanai and Molokai. This unit is stocked with everything you need on your Hawaiian getaway. From snorkels, beach chairs and boogie boards to a cooler and plenty of Tupperware for day excursions! There are games to play and binoculars to check out the sea life from the lanai. The host communicates all the necessary information in advance and has ample of wonderful suggestions on places to eat/tours to book and a guest book with prior visitors favorites.

We were a group of 4 ladies & we did find the condo comfortable & roomy. There were a few things that should have been repaired before our arrival. The lighting in both bedrooms was poor & the living area as well. We found the light bulbs & changed them but some needed 3way bulbs & there weren't any. The quest bedroom toilet paper holder was broken. The patio furniture there was only 3 chairs & there were 4 of us. The televisions we had difficulty turning on & could never get local channels. We contaccted Renee a couple times and it was 4 days before she replied that she thought it was taken care of & it wasn't. The next day we had a unexpected hard knock at the door to check on the television & he (Larry) attempted to get it working for us. Larry did mention that the wiring/hook up to the tv was bad & Renee needed to address that & get it fixed by a professional, not him. Larry & another guy attempted to fix the ceiling fans & lighting but also said that it was poorly installed & Renee needs to get a profesional to get the fans wired correctly. Those were the real issues but otherwise we were comfortable & enjoyed the property. We will definitely stayy at the Royal Kahana in the future. The wrap around deck & views were increditble.

Wow! That was what we said when we walked in and saw the view. This is a spectacular location, just as advertised.
Our only semi-complaint would be I wouldn’t call it air conditioned? There were signs indicating there were issues with the air conditioning so maybe it will get fixed. We only say semi-complaint because with doors and windows open it was a comfortable temperature.

Stayed with another couple and we had everything we could have needed. The condo was super clean and offered a view that can’t be beat. My wife loves watching the whales and they put on quite a show. All you needed to do was look for a bit to spot another one. We saw lots of babies too.

Excellent deck view for those Maui sunsets. Unit is conveniently located right outside of elevators and you never hear anything in the hallway. BBQ and pool area is very well maintained and probably the cleanest BBQ I have ever seen everyday. Parking was easy, check in and staff are delightful. Quick response by owner with all questions even during the stay. Beds are comfortable and linens provided. Will stay here again when we return to Maui. Malaho!

This pictures do not do the views justice. This location is on the third floor and just feet from the beachfront. It was great hearing and seeing the ocean.
We have a 2yo. and 4yo. and the blackout curtains made the second bedroom perfect for them! The room had all of the appliances, pots/pans, and accessories we needed!
There was also boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella, cooler, snorkeling gear, and other fun beach things that we made great use of while staying! We would definitely stay again!

We had a very enjoyable experience at Renee’s condo. The space was comfortable and had everything one would need for a short or long stay. The beach is fifteen yards away. The view from the balcony is perfect. Kahana is a fantastic location to be located. Renee is a great host too. When we had an issue she resolved the situation quickly. We highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

Great time for my wife and 9 year old son. We had a great time watching the turtles surface from the lanai, enjoying our morning coffee. We even saw a spinner dolphin pod off in the distance. The condo is large given the great location and is well stocked. We took advantage of the beach chairs, boogie boards, and snorkel gear on several occasions. The carts during check-in and check-out made the process so simple. Highly recommend this place!

This condo was everything we could want: perfect location ocean front, fully equipped kitchen, nice amenities and comfortable interior. Beach chairs, umbrellas, etc were also stocked. Near brewery, market, Chinese take-out. Good beaches were only a few minute walk away. Renee is a very responsive host. We had a question about the air conditioning and she responded immediately. Highly recommend this property.

This is by far the nicest condo we have ever rented over the years! Pictures do not do it justice! The ocean is literally steps away! The condo was absolutely beautiful! Ample parking, many shops and within walking distance! Close to the beach! Renee was always available and ready to help with any questions! We are definitely planning on coming back next year!
