Very impressed with the fantastic, walkable location and amazing views from the balcony. The condo was equipped with everything we needed. Byron, the property manager answered all our questions promptly and was very helpful. Valet parking and all staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Loved the security of the building. Only disappointed was that the pool was closed due to a leak but happy that we were compensated for that inconvenience.

The views in this condo are unbelievable. The place is very nice with a large lanai to enjoy. The location is great unless you don't like being in the heart of busy Waikiki. We thought it was fun with lots of activity and great people watching. That said, the condo and lanai are very private.

From start to finish, the entire rental experience was excellent. Easy to communicate with the management company. Unit was exactly as described. We found it well stocked with items we needed, including beach chairs. Very very clean and well maintained. The location was perfect. Right on the beach and a McDonald's at the corner (cheap coffee and breakfast). Bonus surprise was the outdoor kitchen/grilling area. Super clean. We made our reservation and the staff was there lighting the grill and making sure we were all set. Use of the area included the outdoor fridge, tables counter/bar area. We LOVED it. Unit came with valet parking (never waited more than 1 min for car). I would 100% stay here again.

The location is amazing. 4-7 mins after leaving your room you can be floating in the ocean.
The view is amazing and unobstructed. If your looking for chill afternoons or early morning coffee with a view this property won't disappoint. The patio has shade 90% of the time other than an hour or 2 before sunset.
If location and view are top priorities this is a must book property.
This is what I call a for profit rental. This isn't someones personal condo they are renting out. There are no personal touches, no spices, sugar/coffee. It's a hotel room with a full kitchen.
The building is very old (20+ years?). The unit has many minor issues with broken knobs, switches, chairs on the patio are pretty sun damaged and stretched. It really shows it age. The AC Is fantastic but very noisy(fan is unbalanced). Nothing overly serious is wrong and everything works but there are many little issues.
Likely no one wants to report things (as who wants repair peoples in your rental on vacation).
The 2nd bedroom has a window onto an open air hallway (2 other rooms) which was the only surprise. It makes the bedroom a bit of a cave if you want privacy. Not a big deal as its likely a kid's room

This high unit with exceptional views is the perfect location if you prefer an active street in front. The condo building a set back from the main drag with a covered awning with auto access on the side street. When you step out of the covered walk, you're directly on Kalakaua Ave, which is the primary beachfront street down Waikiki. Kalakaua is lined with shops, restaurants and hotels, so if you're looking for a quiet hideaway, this isn't it! (Don't worry - visitors must pass through the staffed lobby and must use a key to access the upper floors so there's no risk of anyone other than guests accessing the units). The public beach access is directly across the street, probably less than 100' from the front of the covered awning, so beach access is splendid.The unit has everything you need - beach chairs, umbrella, full kitchen, wifi, valet parking - you name it. The condition of the unit was excellent. (The only minor complaint was a lack of available electrical outlets to charge our phones). This is a perfect unit for a typical family of four, with the two bedrooms (master with private bath) and second bedroom with the hall bath. Overall, this is nearly the perfect unit - again, so long as you're comfortable among the more urban beachy part of Honolulu.

We rented this condo with another couple and it was great! Plenty of room for all of us. The view is amazing from the balcony and master bedroom. The only recommendations are it would be nice to have a big salad bowl and servers and a salad spinner, and a big platter. There were no spices (not even Salt & pepper) or foil or saran wrap or baggies. That would have been nice to have also. All in all, loved our stay there and would come back! Great location too!

Beautiful A hassle free stay with property manager Byron taking care of everything. One short phone phone to him and problem is solved. Apt is in great condition. So near to shopping restaurants plus free parking. Walking distance to most everything we needed. Can’t ask for more.

The condo was exactly as depicted in the photos. Everything was clean and comfortable. The views are absolutely stunning and watching the sunrise from bed was really cool. There were a few issues but those were quickly resolved by the management. The location is absolutely perfect and the valet parking was the easiest I have ever encountered. I would highly recommend this condo and will try to book it next time we come to Oahu. Mahalo!

I just love Waikiki Beach Tower I always wish I could stay longer. The condo was nice, the view was Spectacular. Our room was very nice had all the supplies we needed. The only thing that needs to be fixed is the cabinets are falling off the hinges and TV in second Bedroon did not work, but overall I can't wait to stay there again.

The unit is more or less as described, but the unit has not had any meaningful updating except for the kitchen. The kitchen is nice, but the refrigerator leaked when we used the ice maker, so we had to turn it off. The coffeemaker is literally a $20 blue-light special. There are very few glasses and tumblers, so we had to keep hand washing them throughout our stay. The sliding door in the master bathroom was broken, and we almost got trapped in there. The code for the front door did not work, and we had to wait for the manager, who was thankfully on site, to come open the door. The carpet was very old. The sleeper sofa had extensive food crumbs all over the place especially around the mattress, which was gross. The sheets and pillows for the sleeper are our most frugal relative’s clearance picks. We moved the love seat to have more room for the sleeper sofa, and there was trash underneath. The concierges ended the beach towel service. There’s no self park, just valet. Overall, disappointed and the unit isn’t worth it’s astronomical price.

We had a great time and could not get enough of the amazing view from the balcony. We enjoyed it from sun up to sun down. The check in process was a little confusing, but not a big deal once we got everything sorted out.
We will definitely consider staying here again the next time we are in Honolulu.

This was a great overall experience. We came to Hawaii to visit our son who is stationed there in the Navy. The check in process was very easy, and clean on arrival. We use the valet service while we were there they were very nice and prompt every time we needed our car. The view was wonderful we enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the evenings and watching the sunset. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

The unit is in an excellent location with a terrific view and large lanai. The master bedroom is very comfortable with a great view. My sons thought the twin beds were a bit too "springy". The unit shows some wear and tear, but we didn't really care about that. We had some trouble with the door lock because we hadn't been given the code. There was also some trouble with the garbage disposal, but the property manager talked us through that. The valet service was excellent. We never had to wait to get our car. I would definitely recommend this unit.

If you're going for the view--it's spectacular. However, check-in was a nightmare. One deck chair was ripped, Wi-fi available, but slow (compared to what I'm used to). Plenty of pots and pans but no spices or condiments, so don't plan on making any meals there. No written info on how things work, wi-fi, shower, etc. You need to call after traveling most of the day to get there and then take dictation! There was a garbage can full of garbage under the sink. And then when I had to call the property manager on how to use the TV, and suggested that they provide some written instructions, he hung up on me. I didn't bother him after that, I guess that was the point.

Apartment was well-located, clean and had a great layout. Views were spectacular. I won't complain about traffic noise because it's almost impossible to avoid in Waikiki -- it's the price you pay if you want lots of restaurants, bars and shopping within walking distance. (If you want quiet, go to the north shore or another island.) The pool-deck and grilling areas are excellent and well-maintained. Our WIFI and TV did not work for first 48 hours because fiberoptic line was cut outside of unit. Byron provided a hotspot within 24 hours and the cable company repaired full functionality the day after that. (Repair was delayed because we arrived on Saturday - I'm sure you what it's like to deal with cable companies...) When we return to Waikiki, we'll definitely try to rent this unit.

This is the 3rd time I rented an apartment at the Waikiki Beach Tower but this one tops all others by a wide margin. Clean, new, perfect layout, and absolutely stunning views. Plus the perfect location right at Waikiki’s best surf spots. Can’t experience paradise any better. Brian was responsive, efficient and made checking in a breeze.

This is a great place to stay on Waikiki Beach. The view is unparalleled and the unit well appointed. The unit is clean and very safe. Highly recommend. The only recommendation I would have would be a better explanation of how to use the door key pad in relation to the elevator fob. It was the only hiccup and very small one. The Property Manager was really receptive to our suggestions, Again a super choice for Waikiki.

We were very happy with this spacious condo with a spectacular view of Waikiki. We enjoyed the lanai so much that we brought most of our meals back to the condo to eat there.
The place was very clean and convenient for our activities. The only item I would note is that some of the appliances are
very old and perhaps should be replaced. The dishwasher in particular was in need of replacement. The top rack had prongs that were burnt away and we only ran it once as it emitted a burning smell. Other than that, I would say the condo is perfect!

This was another wonderful stay thanks to Captain Cook RE. We love staying at the Waikiki Beach Tower because of its location, updated units and views. This unit was perfect for our family - comfortable, clean, expansive views. Although not recently renovated, the unit was still in great condition and everything was is good working order. The building staff are friendly and always happy to help. They make it especially easy to arrive early and store luggage; and Captain Cook was great at keeping us appraised of when our unit would be ready (it was ready early). The other building amenities (gym, pool, lounge, locker room, etc.), are great (were fully remodeled a few years ago).
