The unit was the perfect location for our girls to play and explore while we relaxed on the lanai. It was a short stroll to the pool and close to a BBQ area, but also felt private and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware, so meals were easy to prepare. The grounds are beautiful, and well maintained and we loved that it was a 1 minute walk to the beach across the street. Booking and check in were smooth, and we had no issues with our stay. We would definitely recommend Kamaole Sands! This was our second time to the property and I would stay there again.

We loved our stay at Kamaole Sands 2-103. The lanai was private but had a wonderful expansive view of the grounds and provided a great meeting place for all of our family of 10. The unit was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. We would definitely return if we are able!

This was the second time we have stayed in this unit for the month of November. Although it is a little dated, it was very clean and suited our needs just fine. We enjoyed being on the ground floor close to the BBQ. A few things that were missing or needed replaced were taken care of immediately by Matt and Tonya. We have already booked again for next year!

The location of the unit is great. Our kids loved the large grass area that borders the lanai. Since its on the ground floor, no need to use the elevator, which is a huge plus. The unit itself is rather dated. There are large gaps underneath the cabinets (unfinished) which seem to be a perfect home for critters/bugs. Over our 10 day stay, we killed two large cockroaches. Maybe that is common for ground floor units (not sure)? There is a sign by the front door asking you to remove your shoes, which we did at first, but quickly noticed that the bottoms of our feet were black from the dirty floors (visually the floors appeared clean of debris, sand, and dirt, but clearly they were due for a deep scrub/cleaning). We wore our flip flops inside for the remainder of our stay. The most disappointing part of the unit is the furniture in the living area (would have given a 4 star rating otherwise). They couch and chair are soiled with nasty body odor, dirt and oils. The couch is so bad that we had to remove all of the cushions and pillows and tuck them away in a corner to try to mask with the horrible smell (note: the pull out bed mattress portion was the only part of the couch that seemed to be clean/stink free). I would not recommend booking this unit UNLESS new living area furniture is obtained.

Three weeks in paradise ! everything we needed and wanted in this unit. clean and welcoming. Well-appointed in the complex. The Easy access and short walks to the three local beaches. And amenities.Grounds were wonderfully manicured. Pool areas very clean. There seemed to be an issue on the weekends with some people who were not staying at the complex somehow knowing the code and accessing the pool area for use.There is a small gym, although some of the equipment was either not working or needed some form of maintenance. All in all, a wonderful stay. We would definitely stay again.

This apartment is exactly as described. No surprises, well, only pleasant ones. It’s a home away from home in a peaceful garden setting, with the pool complex close by. I was without a car, but that didn’t matter, with the beach across the road, a bus stop minutes away, even a grocery store ten minutes walk away. The property itself was very well equipped.I had one small issue, I contacted the management company, they were instantly responsive, turned out not to be an issue at all, just a misunderstanding on my end, but the response time was impressive. Overall, I’d happily stay here again and would recommend others to do so.

Our family rented three seperate condos in the Kamaole Sands resort - and this was by far the best of the three. It has easy access from the front (parking lot) as well as the back (lanai/patio). The lanai is huge and accommodated our group of 12 for dinners and drinks multiple times. All of the amenities are in perfect working order and nearly everything you could need is provided - including some spices, sauces, ice machine, etc. The only things I would suggest you bring are your own water bottles for bringing to the beach, and maybe some tea towels for cleaning up spills. Other than that, beach chairs, boogie boards and coolers were made available for the beach. Cooking utensils are stocked and BBQs are open to the public (12 of them). Its a short walk to the beach, and only steps away from the pools and hot tub. Definitely worth being on the ground floor. 10/10 would stay again.

I have been very please with PMI. Our original reservation was April 2020, PMI was very generous in the timeline we had to use our credit. Check in and check out was easy, I liked that we got to pick our own down code. We had some questions about the property and PMI was very responsive. Kam Sands has a great resort feel, centrally located in Kihei and close to the best beaches.

the property was great, with some minor things that weren’t so great. the bed had sand in it, the back door was stuck and wouldn’t open, and there were bugs everywhere on the floor on the kitchen and living room. other than those things, the property was nice and everything around in the area was easily accessible to walk to.

We loved our stay, the apartment was clean and so close to beach, just a couple of mins walk. The kitchen was well equipped and plenty of clean towels and sheets. Very happy with our stay!

Our vacation was wonderful. The Kamaole Sands condo was excellent. There were a couple items in the condo with dead batteries etc. but these were righted immediately the same day we contacted the property managers. The beach is awesome across from the condo (Beach #3) and the grounds were gorgeous.

We found the condo to be very clean and there was lots of extra bath towels, sheets etc. Beautiful location between the pool and the ocean. Very well equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture, bed and temperature in condo maintained with air conditioning and ceiling fans. We've stayed at Kamaole Sands before but this condo was so far the best we've stayed at. Really enjoyed ourselves and the beach (Kamaole #3) is just across the street.

All in all very good......location was excellent.......condo was fine....although you should have an electrician check the potlights in the kitchen.....2 of them flash on and off.....could be an issue........and you should leave instructions for the tv ....to get to regular cable....you press tv..power....then cable..power....easy when you know but a pain when you don't.......

We stayed on this ground floor location in July and it was absolutely perfect. We have a 2.5 year old and she moved to run on the lawn and chase the birds. The view was great. The beach is across the street so we would go back and forth to the beach several times a day. The pools weren’t too busy and the kids pool was always quiet so our daughter loved spending hours in there. The unit was clean for the most part but the floor was dirty when we arrived and we let the owner know and he sent someone to clean it right away. It was just dirtier than usual because of the fires in Kihei. Other than that, the unit was well equipped and we couldn’t have asked for more.
We would definitely come back and even come back with our family and friends.
