Lovely gardens, unit provided all necessities-especially necessary and easy to carry beach supplies such as backpack chairs, umbrella, cooler and snorkeling gear.
Nice beach is a 5 minute walk
Unit clean with all cooking equipment. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Fans and air conditioning if desired.
Plastic plants are not needed

We stayed in this wonderful condo in Kehei at Kamole Sands. The pictures were awesome so I had high expectations which were met if not exceeded. The condo has so many great amenities, beautiful pool, close to beaches and restaurants. The condo itself was well equipped and very clean. Extra spacious and the second bathroom was so nice to have. Would recommend and stay here again.

We had a great stay here. Location was fantastic.- close to the pool and the beach with ground floor being so convenient for the kids to play on the grass. PMI was very helpful as they provided a few items to help our stay be more comfortable as well as coming to check out an issue we had with the sliding door. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay and they had beach chairs/cooler/umbrella/boogie board/beach toys. Have stayed at this resort many times and this was one of our favourite rooms!

This was a very well equipped and maintained unit that was very convenient and comfortable. Location is great for walking to restaurants, shops, day trips, and snorkel adventures. It has great beach items available and the kitchen is very well equipped with cooking items and utensils. PMI Maui does a great job with booking adn registration - it was seamless and they took care of a minor issue immediately. Highly recommend this unit and PMI for all Maui rentals.

So overall I loved this condo. Spacious, clean, neat. Air conditioners a bit loud but have one for the main area and a separate for bedroom which was awesome. Ground level unit with fabulous view of the immaculate grounds and wonderful view of the fountains and ocean. Really well stocked with best beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards etc. We used the tennis courts a lot and they were fantastic. Kitchen nice sized and perfectly stocked (except no ice cream scoop). Door really slams hard so have to hold it as it bangs really loudly. Pretty minor. Pool area was very nice. Grounds were amazing. Loved watching sunset out on patio!!The one thing I did not like was the beach. Small beach across the street and public. Not a very deep beach and gets really crowded. We actually went to my brother's condo ( we met here for a joint trip with our wives). They had a ground unit quite close to ours that opened out to a nice lawn, palm trees, and then a nice uncrowded, much bigger beach. We played tennis etc here, then spent late mornings and afternoons there generally, then spent the evenings playing games in our condo. Another brother visited too for the day with 3 others and we had plenty of room for all and had a nice luncheon at our spacious condo. If you just want a great holiday relaxing on a beach, not the best place. Other places better for that. Everything else however was top notch. Loved it. We had the best of both worlds as we loved tennis, and loved their beach. Hard to find both in Maui. I would have liked less drab bedroom bedding but that is exceptionally minor. Furniture was all excellent and very comfortable. Super easy check in and the staff there are awesome! The hosts were fabulous and great communication. Super easy checkout, no demands for washing sheets etc. I highly recommend this unit. It was superb.

We had a wonderful time at this condo situated halfway between the pool and the beach. Everything you need for the beach, towels, chairs, cooler. Condo was perfect. PMI very helpful with a couple of minor requests. The peek a boo view of the ocean from the lanai was an added bonus, and the sunsets spectacular. Would highly recommend this property

We have stayed at Kamaole Sands many times over the years and we like the resort a lot. We have been disappointed with the condition of some of the units but not since we started renting through PMI Maui. They maintain their units meticulously and fix any minor problems instantly. One problem in 2022, the Wednesday Mai Tai party did not have Mai Tais. Come on Kamaole Sands Resort, step up!

This was our second time booking a large family getaway at Kameola Sands, Kihei. Property was located on ground floor building 1. Beautiful views of overall property, easy access to pool, BBQ pits, and beach. Also within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Property well maintained with beautifully manicured lawns and gardens. Our particular unit was clean, air conditioned, and well equipped with beach chairs, beach umbrella, sand/beach toys (boogie boards) and coolers. It was well stocked in regards to small kitchen appliances and cooking items. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Kihei, who wanted hassle free accommodations. The property management company for this unit were very good to deal with and prompt to respond.

This is our second visit to Kamaole Sands. We love the property and it’s location. We stayed in building 3 back in 2018 and this time went for building 1, ground level. Overall the condo is nice with a nice ocean view but the condo itself is a bit dated and could benefit from some upgrades. The sliding door and screen are in need of maintenance. The location to beach 3 can’t be beat and it is nice that beach gear is provided.

The only down fall is the WiFi is really bad. Sometimes it wouldn’t even let my phone get calls. Other then that a perfect stay.

We stayed July 22 to 30, 2022. The one bedroom with a pullout in the living room was perfect for our needs. Our two teenage sons stayed in the living room on the pullout. The kitchen was nicely stocked with newer appliances and all the cutlery and other cooking tools that we needed.. Our PMI contact, Matthew, was responsive and promptly replaced items as needed (damaged kitchen knives and boogie board). The TVs worked well for downtime, having one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The air conditioning units worked good for combating hot days. In short, we liked the location, three minute walk to a beach, immaculate grounds, unbelievably clean barbeque facilities, tennis courts, and swimming pool with lots of seating. The view from the lanai was gorgeous! A must to have your early morning coffee and soak up the immaculate grounds. If we had to find something to comment on, the decor could possibly be updated, but this would not take away from the awesome experience.

All was great. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working, but we decided it would be nice to disconnect for a week and truly relax. I have no doubt it would have been fixed should we have inquired. We had two “littles” and both the grounds crew and neighbors were very gracious of all that comes with that. Plenty seating and options for pool fun, which is often where these type of properties can disappoint.We will stay here again.

We loved our stay! We went back and forth on paying a bit more for a view and it was worth it. It was so nice to sit every morning and evening on the patio and our little girl could run around in the grass. Bbqs and pool were 2 mins away. The place was fully stocked with beach chairs, cooler anything you needed. It was right across from Kam..park 3. And a short walk to commerce. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The experience and condo location were excellent. Highly recommend the ground level experience as well. Walk out close proximity to the beach, pool and BBQ a bonus. Thanks for that. Condo was clean but ensuite bathroom is in need of an upgrade. Some Items within the condo need upgrading. Re Beach toys. The umbrella cannot withstand the beach winds and needs an upgrade. Small kids beach toys and balls are in poor shape. Beach chairs are ok. The old larger chair was excellent and appreciated. Check in/out was easy and appreciated. Lived the security of the place with the security folks making one feel comfortable. The grounds are so very well maintained, many thanks to the grounds workers.

Somewhat expensive for what you get. Easy fixes would be a thorough cleaning and fresher towels / bedding / toiletries. Bedroom location in the back is private but very dark. Bathrooms are small but updated.
Nice to have washer and dryer in unit. Kitchen well stocked.
Lanai opens onto beautiful manicured grounds. Distant ocean view. 2 minute walk to Kam 3 beach with nice crosswalk to cross the road. Very close to Wailea. Walkable to local restaurants.

Loved lounging on the lanai (we could see the ocean while drinking our morning coffee). Having a washer and dryer in the unit was super handy. Loved the short easy walk down to the beach to watch the sunsets. Had a great stay!
