If you’re idea of paradise is sleeping to sound of waves and long walks on quiet beach, this is it! The condo is quiet, clean, comfortable, and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Location is fantastic with easy driving access to anywhere you wish to go and a bake shop, farmers market, shaved ice and ABC market directly across the street. Everything we tried at the bake shop was delicious; the mango cheesecake was sublime. Our visit was less than two weeks after the devastating fires in Lahaina and the owners were so helpful and gracious in sharing what they knew about the situation and offered flexibility should we need to change plans. That was greatly appreciated and we are so glad we came. While West Maui remains closed, the rest of Maui is indeed open and visitors both welcome and needed to support the local economy.

What an amazing place to experience all that Maui has to offer. The view from the balcony was simply stunning and Maui delivers a wonder around every corner. Bonus there is a delicious bakery across the street. The serenade of ocean waves was a consistent reminder of the perfect paradise that surrounds you. Highly recommend this spot!

This condo is beautifully situated on a bay where you see Haleakala mountain on one side and the Maui west mountains on the other side! The beach is fabulous close to an ABC store, a bakery , fresh market, restaurants and an outrigger club. Unit 310 is a corner unit allowing great views of the ocean. The inside of this condo is the best we have ever seen. The owners have nicely furnished this two bedroom two bathroom unit paying great attention to every detail to make our stay the best. We very much appreciated the soft bathroom towels, nice bed sheets, all the utensils you would need, this unit is so well equipped and so nicely decorated that if I had a rental property, I would do it exactly the same.

This was the perfect place to stay on Maui. The views from the balcony were breath-taking and we ate many meals listening to the waves and watching the sunset. The beds were comfortable and we loved all the provided beach gear and snorkeling equipment. Would definitely stay here again in my next trip!!!

We loved our stay—so much so that I’m already dreaming of buying a unit in the building (I’ll keep dreaming)! It was perfectly situated by the beach, and having the ABC, shave ice place, bakery, and farmer’s market right across the street was a great bonus. The condo was clean, well appointed, and it had all the extras we needed like boogie boards, beach chairs, and snorkels. We’d love to stay again!

This 2 bedroom condo was perfect with a great layout and fantastic views of the whales in action from the balcony. Our teenage daughter had her own room giving everyone space to relax. The location was great especially with the market and shaved ice across the street. It was an easy drive to other parts of the island to visit for part of the day and then we spent our afternoons enjoying the views from the condo or on the beach right in front. We had everything we needed at the condo!! Thank you for letting us enjoy your home, we certainly did and would rent this lovely condo again in a heartbeat.

This was our third stay at Susan and Tiva’s beach condo – and hopefully it won’t be our last. Views are unreal. Condo is adorable. Beach is amazing – the surf is quiet and easily swimmable! The condo leaves you wanting nothing – everything is there for you. Towels, beach equipment, coolers, shopping bags…no details left behind!
Being across from the ABC store is priceless – save your receipts for free gifts! The farmers market is great too! Great dips and salsas and lots of fresh fruits and veggies! As for activities…Check out ULTIMATE Whale Watch. This was our third trip out with them and it was by far the best one! Saw so many whales. We also did a luau in Lahaina. Feast at Lele. Amazing show and great venue. We also did a day trip to snorkel Molokini on the Maui Magic. Great trip – great staff! Also…a visit on the ferry to Lanai to the Lanai Cat Sanctuary is always a must for us. So. Many. Kitties.

What a fantastic vacation. Susan and Tiva were the perfect hosts. The condo is fully stocked with everything we could have needed. We cooked in most nights and had everything we needed. The views from the ocean front deck were unbelievable. Watching canoers in the morning to phenomenal sunsets in the evening were some of our favorites. The condo and grounds were clean and so inviting, can't wait to go back!! Thanks Susan and Tiva!!

2nd time staying in this complex and absolutely loved this unit. Feels like you are right on the water. Beautiful unit with gorgeous views and relaxing ocean sounds. Communication was amazing and an overall wonderful experience. Unit had everything we needed as a family of 4. Very centralized, so easy to explore different areas of Maui if desired. Would love to return.

Cliff Notes:
-Stunning view of the ocean (virtually impossible to get closer)
-Kind and responsive owners
-Clean condo
-Close to the airport and central to most of Maui
-Very quiet condo/pool/beach (lots of room for privacy)
-Sugar Beach Bake Shop (right across the street) is amazing & people are lovely
-ABC store is handy (across street)
-Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice (also across the street) has to be the world's best...
Side Notes:
We cooked most evening meals & took advantage of Whole Foods pre-order/pick up for groceries. Instacart was great for any additional food/supplies. Fresh sea food, as it turns out, usually goes straight to the restaurants. (It's hard to buy local fresh fish in the grocery stores.) So, we tried fresh-fish-maui (online) and ordered fish as it was being caught off the boat... and then delivered to the condo next day!
Since it's a tropical environment we took out the garbage once in the morning and once in the evening. So the only little friends we saw were the occasional chickens and roosters outside (announcing the morning).
We checked out the condo's suggested activities on the island and hopped on the PACWHALE Eco-Adventure: Dolphin Watch Deluxe.... We saw 100 dolphins, two sea turtles & flying fish! Well worth checking out. The staff was amazing as well.

My Family and I had the pleasure of spending 10 days in this beautiful Condo.It was everything we could of hoped for. It had all the needed amenities and was super clean. The view from the patio and master bedroom are truly amazing! It was also nice that everything was provided for the days at the beach. I highly recommend this property for your next stay in Kihei.

This unit is in a good location for exploring the island. It is also close to all the restaurants in Kihei. The surf break is pretty strong on the beach outside the condo, so I wouldn’t say it is a swimming beach, at least not in July when we were there. The beds are comfortable and the AC worked great. The unit does not have a smart tv so you may want to bring your own streaming device.

Beautiful place with great views of the ocean in a perfect location in the center of everything. We went everywhere (West, Central, and South Maui ) and it was a great place to come home to every evening. Loved the sound of the ocean while sleeping at night and watching the canoes go out everyday. So many chicken and roosters everywhere. They do start to announce the day around 430am but we loved it since I grew up with them it reminded me of childhood! Wonderful and kind people taking care of the grounds and security was excellent.
The building had an issue with the air conditioning but the owners and the rental agents did everything they could to make it better. We appreciated that they were so responsive and showed caring and understanding while finding solutions. We definitely hope to come back to their wonderful place again. Thank you Tiva and Susan for letting us enjoy your piece of paradise.
Also, the best shaved ice, hot malasadas, mangos, and Maui gold pineapples right across the street. Yes it is worth the wait for that delicious shaved ice!!! We had to have it 5 times out of the 10 days we were there. Mahalo

The lanai and master bedroom both overlook the ocean which made the stay very relaxing.
The location of the building, roughly equidistant from Lahaina, the airport, and Wailea made for a good base camp for travels. Prices at the ABC across the street are higher than at Target (10 min drive). Would recommend stocking up on toiletries (shampoo etc) at Target on your way in from the airport.
The second bedroom gives on the main road, which made for a somewhat less relaxing sleep for my daughters than mine (which was to the sound of the waves).
The hosts were very responsive on communications.

This condo is the best in Kihei for our type of vacation. Location is perfect with the main junctions going to Lahaina or Kahului just a minute from the condo. The best part is having the farmers market and the Sugar beach Bakery + Ululani's shave ice right in front of the property! We made daily visits to these shops for fresh vegetables, fresh Malassadas and of course th best shave ice on the island. The condo is excellent and well stocked and maintained. We just had to bring our clothes and swimwear! Watching the sunsets from the balcony every evening was amazing. Being the corner unit, provides maximum privacy and more windows. Watching the canoes launch by the Maui Canoe club each morning was a treat. This will be our go to condo for any future visits! Mahalo to Susan and Tiva for sharing their beautiful condo.

Encountered a major rain storm that caused major flooding, mud accumulation, erosion of the beach and loss of power. The swimming pool was filled with mud. Owners and property manager were not very responsive or helpful. We got trapped in the condo for a few days because of the knee deep mud and water in the parking lot. Our vacation was a mess and the owners and property manager were poor and acted like "you are on your own, good luck!" The unit was well equipped and decorated. Cannot recommend based on lack of emergency response to the storm.

If you’re looking for a relaxing stay right on a sandy swimming beach, away from mega resorts and busy towns, you can’t do better than Sugar Beach. This condo is clean, cute & comfortable with awesome views of the ocean and sunsets, plus the added perk of a bakery (also serving excellent flavored coffees!) a farmers market, ABC Store and shave ice literally across the road. Each bedroom having an en suite bathroom was nicer than anticipated. The complex is clean, quiet, has a nice pool and plenty of parking. Owners were easy to communicate with & checked in when we arrived to make sure all was good. Would happily stay here again on our next visit to Maui.

Absolutely beautiful property, right on the water with fantastic views. Extremely well-stocked with anything you might need during your stay (which, based on our stays at other properties, is highly unusual). The condo was very clean, decorated nicely, great to come home to after a day running around the island. We will absolutely stay at this property again in the future if given the opportunity.

Our group of four loved staying here for our week in Maui. The ocean view and beach/pool access could not possibly be better. It was great to be able to just head outside anytime one of us felt like taking a dip. FANTASTIC shave ice and a convenient ABC store literally across the street. And we really appreciated having beach chairs/umbrella/snorkeling equipment provided. A great experience all around!

We have stayed in a lot of VRBO's and I will say this is one of our favorites. the layout and furniture are really nice and comfortable. We felt at home instantly. Lots of extras in the kitchen too so before you go to the grocery store make sure to see what is already there. There were lots of snorkeling equip, beach chairs and boogie boards which were used a lot with our family. Owners were great to deal with as well. We had the best time and if we ever come back to Maui we will definitely be staying here. I had the best time blowing the conch horn at sunset...or at least trying to. =)Thanks for a great stay!!

We have stayed at VRBO properties for many years and this was one of the best. Great views, clean, updated, and well stocked. They already have beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, snorkel gear, and beach towels. My 2 teenagers, wife, and I had a great time here. You will too!

Our second time staying in this unit. Love how it's decorated, kitchen is well stocked, and the beds are very comfortable. You can't go wrong staying in this location. Easy access to all other areas of the island and a bonus with a farmers market, bakery, ABC store, and shaved ice shop across the street. We loved everything about this condo. The location on Maui was perfect for the things we had planned during our week on the island, though it was hard to peel ourselves away from the view from the lanai! The beach just outside was so nice for long walks, sunset, and swimming and even some snorkeling. We had fun watching the canoe club activities as well. If we ever return to Maui we would definitely want to stay here again.

The condo was immaculate and better than advertised. We were pleasantly surprised by the view once we opened the door. Seeing the lanai and the ocean once we opened the door reassured us that we made the right choice. The condo was positioned well to enjoy the sunsets every day from the lanai and even go for morning and evening walks on the beach. The added benefit was the view of the canoe club that was just down the beach. Waking up and enjoying coffee and watching the canoe club launch became our morning ritual. The farmers market and bakery across the street were major bonuses, we could enjoy fresh fruit and baked goods everyday! We just wish we could have stayed longer!
