We had a great week in Kaanapali staying in this condo. The place looks just like the pictures and is spacious with plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen had everything we needed to make dinners a few nights. The location is great, right on the beach and the walking path that goes up and down Kaanapali so you can easily walk to other restaurants or take the trolly. We liked the vibe of this place compared to some of the big resorts nearby. As others have mentioned there's not really a balcony that you can sit out at, and it does overlook the parking lot mostly, but it's such a quick trip down stairs and there are plenty of lounge chairs to sit out at on the lawn and watch the sunset. I would definitely return and stay here again!

This is a beautiful property and the location is wonderful. I loved the updated finishes and the great communication with the owner. Only tweak: the noise from the highway can be loud at night, which is odd because it isn't really nearby. But bring earplugs if you like to sleep with the patio doors open. We had a lovely vacation here and would come back again in a heartbeat.

We love this area in Maui. From the property, it’s a few minute walk until you are down on the sand. There are plenty of beach toys, chairs, and snorkeling equipment available to use. There are also events and activities held on the property, like morning yoga, which I really enjoyed. The unit is clean. There is a beach view, but the patio is too small to really sit on and enjoy, which is fine because we just took our coffee down to beach and enjoyed it there. The beds are surprisingly really comfortable (usually not impressed with rental property beds). There is a lot of glass and breakables, so caution with small children. This place was roomy and had everything we needed from beach amenities to every kitchen essential you would need. Would love to stay here again when we come back to Maui!

Nice and roomy after spending a few nights at the Westin. It was just my wife and I so we had lots of room. It's a bit weird that there are two king beds right beside each other in a room. I'm not sure I'd want to share a bedroom with another couple but It was more than spacious for the two of us.

My husband and I have stayed at Kaanapali Villas many times and have stayed in this particular unit several times. The unit is very comfortable and contains a fully equipped kitchen. It is located in the Aloha tower which is very close to the pool and the ocean. I highly recommend this unit!

Very nice room with everything you could need! Love the location of the room and the property. Quiet area on Kaanapali beach, a short walk up the beach to a nice snorkeling site. Walking distance to Whalers Village. Loved Castaways restaurant beachfront on property. The host was very responsive! We will be back hopefully soon!

What a wonderful location! The property was spacious and had everything we needed. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Balcony was narrow, but that was ok. This side of the building was very quiet. Only a 2-3 minute walk to reach the sand and beautiful stretch of beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Andrew’s unit is sparkling clean and beautifully decorated and updated. The Maui Kaanapali Villas are awesome. On the beach, beautiful pool area, trolley to Whaler’s Village. Next time we plan a trip to Kaanapali, we would love to stay at this property and in Andrew’s unit again!!!

My children and I stayed in this unit for 8 nights in May of 2022. The check in process was short and sweet. The unit was sparkling clean upon arrival. 2 king beds gave us plenty of room to sprawl out. We only had one issue which Andrew jumped in and took care of. He was always available and answered messages quickly. There are lots of snorkels, fins, boogie boards and beach chairs for guest use. Great water pressure in the shower. Overall Andrew was great, the unit was great and our trip was fabulous.

This condo was just as described plus more. There were extra things available such as boogie boards, soft cooler, and snorkeling equipment. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, bowls, pots, pans etc. The grounds were beautiful with a gated pool or ocean swimming. Highly recommend!

This was my second visit to this unit at Kaanapali Villas, and it is still a great place on the beach. It’s a bonus that the Castaway Cafe is on the resort property, so convenient for a quick, casual meal. Also, a new spa has opened on property, the Spa La Mer. All three of us gals had excellent massages. Definitely recommend this unit at Kaanapali Villas!

Property looks exactly like it does in the online photos- clean and bright. Had everything we needed and the added extras (picnic basket and chairs) in the closet came in handy. Multiple chargers through out the condo for our devices was really helpful😊 Only 1 complaint and it is a personal preference- would have liked to have some sort of check out instructions (like unmake the beds or wash dishes etc.) But honestly -BOOK THIS ONE it is clean and nice we would gladly return if we ever make it back to Maui💜

The unit was as described. We took advantage of the boogie boards, snorkel gear and beach chairs. Fully equipped kitchen was nice. The beach in front of the complex is nice and not rocky. We would stay here again if we come back to Maui.

Enjoyed the accommodations at MKV and the pool/beach. The view is limited for ocean and sunset. Balcony not worth mentioning. Castaway restaurant is conveniently located on the beach although the food is not very good. Rented cabanas on the beach and watched whales from the shore. The trolley comes in handy for going back and forth to Whaler's Village for shopping and dining out. The water is calmed on the this side of Maui... great for small children. Will definitely come back to this side of Maui .... hopefully sooner than later. Mahalo!

Really nice unit and place to stay. Contact and information from Andrew was great and helpful. we didn't utilize any of the resort amenities so we can't speak to that however it's a very nice resort. Only wish would be some better parking or assigned parking, arms full with my young children was sometimes an issue.

We wanted low key quiet and that’s what we got! We absolutely loved it!! We couldn’t decide if we wanted big resort or something smaller and we definitely made the right decision. The property is gorgeous! Condo was clean, updated and had everything we needed! The amenities and beach were perfect! Great food and drinks at Castaways! The resort was located near Lahaina and Whalers village which was awesome! We tried to think of one negative thing and we could not! Thank you for being a part of our fabulous vacation!! We will be back!

We had a great time on Maui. We were there for our daughter's wedding. This gem of a place was great! Clean and huge! Well stocked, close to beach and pool, Castaway bar/restaurant, clean, quiet and homey! We loved it and are already planning to come back!

The property was exactly like it was on the website. It was perfect for a girls’ trip to the island. There a lot of things to use at the beach and the pool was really nice. The smallness of the property was a nice change from the big resorts all around.

more. The pictures are very accurate, you do get to see the ocean from the Juliette balcony. The condo was very clean, and spacious. The whole experience, from booking on line, to speaking with the owner, to check in & out was very easy and stress free. The owner gave me his phone #'s and he answered when I called him, which was great. I have already referred his condo onto another couple, and we will return again in the future. Once again, thank you.

This unit was clean, quiet, well equipped, and beautifully remodeled. It has all the amenities one could ask for. We enjoyed our stay completely. There was a slight mix up about the date of our mid-stay cleaning, but a quick email to Andrew promptly resolved the confusion and the unit was cleaned the next day! The free trolley that takes you to The Whaler shopping center is wonderful. There is great shopping and wonderful restaurants at The Whaler. The beach in front of the complex is beautiful and the beach shack rents all kinds of water toys for every sort of adventure. The beach walk along Kaanapali is lovely. We enjoyed daily morning walks. I found Andrew to be very responsive and easy to work wih. We have recommended this unit to a couple other friends who are planning a Maui vacation. We would definitely stay here again! We have stayed at the Maui Kaanapali Villas many times before, and have always rented directly through the resort. It was very nice to know ahead of time that we would be getting a newly updated, beautifully furnished unit. This unit is in the main tower, which is great, because it is just a short walk down to the beach, and complimentary MaiTai Wednesday is just downstairs in the lobby area!
Unit has very comfortable beds, everything is new, kitchen has all the amenities and cooking utensils needed. We asked for maid service mid-week, which is an extra charge, but worth it. It was nice to have the sand swept out, towels refreshed, and everything cleaned. We always rent beach cabanas down at the little beach shack just past the main pool, but the owner has thoughtfully provided beach chairs and some pool noodles and beach toys in case you want to use them. The beach is beautiful and very quiet, unlike the Coney Island scene on the other side of Black Rock where the big hotels are.
The owner promptly returned our security deposit upon our return home. I would definitely recommend this unit!

We absolutely LOVED this condo. It was perfect for our family of four. Very clean and beautifully decorated. We looked at several VRBO's and felt that this was by far the best! The location was great and everything was easy to get to. We grabbed the free trolley to take us to various destinations along Kaanapali and had a rental car for the longer trips. The condo was also VERY quiet - which we really appreciated! So many hotels are noisy with doors slamming and people talking in hallways -- we literally didn't hear a peep - which allowed us to sleep in for the first time in months. :) We also really enjoyed having a great kitchen. We made most of our meals and were able to pack picnic lunches to take with us for the day. (there's even a soft cooler in the closet)! We will definitely come back to this condo every time we come to Maui. No need to ever look further! Thank you!

My family and I stayed in this condo, and we were more than satisfied with our experience. The quality was outstanding, it was QUIET, and the location was terrific (a short walk up Airport Beach and we were snorkeling over beautiful coral reefs.) A beautiful, uncrowded and super-clean swimming pool added to the relaxation. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable Maui getaway.

We spent 10 days in this condo and were very comfortable. It is only steps to the pool, and a few more to the beach. The beach on this stretch of Ka'anapali is probably the nicest bit of beach. It is much flatter here than on bits farther north, and there is more beach during high tide. It felt more family friendly. The pool was also great with a toddler pool that was only 1.5ft deep, and a nice shallow end that was separated from the deep end by and island with bridges.
We really appreciated the a/c in the unit as the trade winds pretty much died the moment we landed, and only started back up on our way to the airport (it was hot, humid, and we had a good deal of Vog).
The resort is very close to Lahaina which makes for great dinners out (we did 2 nights at Kobe's [one night sushi, the other teppanyaki], and I'O). We also made sure to get to Local Boys for the best shave ice on the island. The Castaway at the resort is also very good, especially for the days you don't want to leave and just hang out.
The condo itself is very comfortable. We were traveling with our 5-year-old, and they had toys for us to use in the cupboard. Everything had been newly renovated and felt very clean and modern. The appliances in the kitchen were clean and easy to use. We made several meals in. I would make a recommendation to shop at Foodland Farms, rather than the Safeway (is is right across the street from Safeway and has much nicer food and is laid out in a more manageable way...we liked it better at least). The beds were nice and firm and since there were two, our kid had his own. There was also a foldout bed, so you can have 6 people sleeping there. There is a partial view of the ocean, which was a nice surprise also.
We also brought along a kayak, and the front desk allowed my husband to store it in their locked storage room. That was very nice! No charge either! There is a concierge on site as well to help plan activities.
The owners were also very friendly and helpful.
We would recommend the condo to friends and will look to stay here again!

My wife and I spent 5 nights at this property and it was great! The unit is clean and recently remodeled beautifully. The resort is wonderful in a great location on the north side of Kaanapali beach (just north of blackrock). We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

This was my first visit to Maui & it really couldn't have been better. The beach, condo, location, grounds and overall feeling were perfect. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Andrew was easy to work with, well organized and responsive to all my questions. An awesome vacation on a beautiful beach. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise!
