The property is amazing - direct ocean view, quiet and super comfortable. It has everything we needed, even beach chairs and coolers! Kitchen is very well equipped and the bed is soo comfy! We love Papakea in general, but would stay in a his condo always in the future ☺️

Gina was very good to deal with. We had to leave the unit unexpectedly and Gina was excellent about our having to go early. She was more concerned about us having a great vacation compared to worrying about $$$ lost. This ensured that if we are able to get to the area again, that Gina will certainly be someone I will reach out to. I could not have been happier to deal with someone like her. The property itself is awesome and quite quiet in terms of overall people. This was a nice attraction. The place came as advertised and the bed in the master was very comfortable. There was good stock of supplies in the unit as well and the scenery from the balcony was incredible. Thanks Gina for accommodating us!

This is a good location to stay. The unit itself needs some cleaning as the floor of the fridge looks pretty dirty on both sides, so it hasn't been cleaned around in a while. Unfortunately this leads to some unwanted visitors. We kept all of our food inside the well sealed fridge weather it required cooling or not. That way we were confident insects won't be able to get into our food.
I know the tropical environment can be challenging in this regard and I'm not unreasonable enough to think that bugs aren't around, but as I write this review I am literally in the building next door and the premises are spotless and a better level of clean.

What a wonderful condo it was. The sunsets were spectacular! Although the weather was very hot, didn’t need to use the A/C until late afternoons. Everything in the condo was as described and we really appreciated the chairs and the umbrella.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was well equipped. We ate all of our meals on site and the kitchen accommodated us nicely. The unit is quite literally next to the ocean. There was a little air-conditioner that kept the temperature comfortable and the location worked well for us. We walked the path from our place down to the Hyatt each morning, allowing for a great walk each day.

The views are amazing! We enjoyed hours on the lanai viewing whales, sea turtles, rainbow, sunrises and sunsets! The condo has everything you need to explore the area. We took advantage of the beach chairs that are provided.

My husband and I have just returned from 11 wonderful nights at Papakea and Gina's condo. We have been coming to Papakea for about 30 years now and Gina's condo was one of the best experiences we've had. The unit is fully stocked with everything you need. The bed was really comfortable and the view was amazing. You can't go wrong with a view like that! We feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to stay at Gina's. Gina was really easy to communicate with and we recommend if you get the chance book it, you won't be disappointed. Thank you for everything Gina.

This was such a wonderful experience ! The condo has everything you need and the bed is super comfy! I am very picky as I travel a lot. The view is incredible and location is close to restaurants, the fish market and farmers market. Papakea staff was awesome and Gina was amazing to work with. Loved our stay. The condo was prefect for me and my husband. It had everything we needed. And the bed was very comfortable. The sunsets were beautiful and you feel like you are on the ocean. The swimming pool was relaxing and could see the ocean from the pool. We differently will stay here again.

We loved the condo, very clean, lanai views are amazing, comfy bed, great artwork on the walls as well. Breeze was always nice & only used the air conditiong 2 times in the late afternoon, you really won't need it. Gina was great to work with since we had to reschedule 3 times, she always helped us out & promptly answered all of our questions & concerns! We will be back soon & stay here again. Thanks Gina!!!

This condo is lovely, exactly as described, with the most amazing views across the ocean to watch the sunset and the moon set and the stars between the palm trees. We had everything we needed, including beach supplies such as chairs, umbrella, cooler, and boogie board. It was super clean and comfortable and I highly recommend it ! It is also in a great location for getting to fabulous beaches and snorkeling areas, and there is a supermarket within walking distance as well as local restaurants. The resort is also great, the pool and hot tub were very clean and very enjoyable

My main priority in booking was an amazing view to whale watch from the lanai, with a good location in West Maui- this was both. The view was amazing and we loved drinking coffee in the morning while watching the whales and having dinner while watching the sunset. The park was nearby with a sandy beach for kids. The condo was clean and had all of the little things you often have to buy (aloe, salt and pepper, etc.) I really appreciated that the cleaning staff didn't remove all of these little items, as often happens at other condos- we used several and purchased a few things we left for others to use. Beach chairs, boogie board, and the wagon were so helpful! The pool was great for the kids- found mai tai hour a couple of times! Parking is difficult if you return in the evening, but there is a place to drop people and bags if there isn't any spots near the building. The shower latch needs replaced as the door doesn't stay fully shut and could use some new pillows with fluff as the current pillows are pretty flat, but minor things. We will definitely stay here again.

My condo was incredible, very cozy and comfortable all the comforts of home. The ocean view was impeccable, only downsize is there wasn't assigned parking so if your out and about and come home after sight seeing or shopping in evening you'll have to park a ways away from your unit a little tiring after a busy day and driving around Maui and carrying belongings down to the building your staying in .

The location was perfect. Easy to get to beach as well as the pools. The grounds are clean well taken care of, all of the employees were professional and understanding and answered all questions.
High lights, grandson learned to boogie board, granddaughter built sand castles. Every other night meat cooked on the BBQ. A real family vacation. Hope to retutn one day soon.

It was our first trip to Maui and we were very happy with the location, the condo had everything we needed especially for trips to the beach, making the odd meal and a wonderful view of the ocean together with the the sounds of the ocean from the lanai. This is by far the best unit at Papakea. Everthing was exceptional from the oceanfront view, the furnishings, the well-stocked kitchen and all the amenities needed to enjoy the sand and surf. Will definitely search out this unit again next time we visit Maui.

We (3) had a great time here! The location is the single best thing about it. Beds were comfy, place was clean, appreciated the washer/dryer. No need for a/c, and breakfast on the lanai had the most gorgeous view! There were coolers, chairs and beach towels in the unit that we used daily. And we used the pool, tub, putting, tennis and bbq at the resort so we felt we got something back after paying the resort fee. Finally, we enjoyed some great events that we booked via the Expedia local expert. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a base (with a view!) for West Maui.

My wife and I celebrated our 40th anniversary and her retirement from teaching. We loved our stay in L307 at the Papakea. Gina was a great host and we had no problems. The condo has an amazing view of Lanai and Molokai. We were 50 feet from the water. The condo is well equipped and very clean. I hesitate to write a review because I don't want competition when we try to return! The Papakea is a beautiful and well run resort with all the amenities you will see on the promotional information. The grounds are immaculate and the pools, putting greens, shuffle board, tennis courts, and bbq's are outstanding. We can't say enough about our stay. We are 5 minutes from the Sheraton Black Rock swimming area and 5 minutes from Napili and Kapalua. Location is outstanding. We will definitely be back.
