Staying at the Kamaole Sands was a great decision. It was clean and located very close to several beaches and several delightful restaurants. Being from Alaska, we dont have much beach gear, except for swimming suits. However, the owner of the condo that we stayed at had beach chairs, an umbrella, and boogie boards, as well as a wagon to haul everything in. We had a wonderful time. Kamaole Sands was a lovely respite after a hard day of play.

This condo is located a walking distance from the beach. It is spacious and very well equipped. Communication with the owner, Elly, was excellent. We had a lovely time there. We strongly recommend staying there.

Overall, our stay was great. We had a few issues...the outdoor furniture on the balcony was very uncomfortable and for the amount of time we spent on it, we would have loved something with cushions and more comfort.
The floors were filthy from day one! We could smell it was cleaned when we walked in, but when walking on the floor our feet would be filthy.
There was not enough seating in the livingroom. The couch is small and very lived in. Has room for larger comfortable furniture so an upgrade is needed.
Other than those issues we had a great time in Hawaii. A big plus was the location. Within walking distace of so much.

Very nice 1 Bedroom condo with 2 bathrooms 👍(nice benefit). The facility is very clean and the furniture in good condition. Bed mattress seamed like new, very comfortable . Overall facility well maintained. The condo is where Wailea and Kihei cities joint. 2 minute walk to beach. Great location to drive around the island. Really enjoyed our visit to the island and the condo. 🌴🏌️♂️🤙

Been to Maui a fair share amount of times and I’m always changing locations to stay on the island. Without a doubt this is one of the best properties I have stayed at in Kihei! And would absolutely recommend for you to book your stay here.

Kameole Sands is a great property with easy beach access, pool, parking and very clean outdoor grills. Unit 8303 is tucked away and secluded. The photos accurately depict the interior of the condo. The kitchen is recently upgraded and amazingly - the knives are sharp (dull condo knives are a pet peeve of mine.). We had a glitch when we first arrived, and the owner Elly immediately remedied the issue to our great satisfaction. She is a contentious and gracious owner.
Our trip highlights included sunsets watching sea turtles napping on the sand.

This unit is very nice, and just a short distance from the beaches and restaurants…all within walking distance. Loved having two separate bathrooms and the view in the lanai was nice. For such a large complex having one pool was not a problem! Had plenty of chairs and never overcrowded. The resort is beautifully landscaped as well.

A few suggestions to the owners:
1- please replace the bed. Very used and hard to sleep in.
2 - for safety reasons you should have mats next to the shorwers.

We had a great stay at Kamaole Sands. Elly, the host was super nice, responsive and welcoming which is hard to do via text these days! The home was clean and had everything we needed for our vacation. Dining and bars were all walking distance. Kamaole Beach III was right across the street, which we enjoyed everyday. And could watch a killer sunset/sunrise from there everyday!

We spent 5 days in the condo and we really enjoyed the condo. It is spacious, has 2 bathrooms, washer and dryer, a kitchen with everything you need. You really feel like at home! Each time we had questions, it was easy to join the property managers and they were very helpful. This is definitely a very good place, we will come back!

This was our third trip to Maui in 7 years. We used VRBO every time and this unit worked well for us - 2 bathrooms a big plus, in unit washer/dryer, and A/C in both living area and the bedroom. Only surprise was the $70 resort/registration fee that we were not aware of.
Maybe we missed it. Overall, it was a very nice place.

This unit was tastefully furnished with comfortable chairs and bed. The overhead fans in both the living room and bedroom kept us cool enough most of the time, and the air conditioner located in the living room was welcomed on the warmer afternoons. The screen door on the patio literally flew off the track when we had the front door open and the patio door open on a particularly windy afternoon. Luckily the railing kept the screen door from flying down to the parking lot. The screen door was unscathed, and we were able to return the screen door back onto the sliding track. It was nice to have two bathrooms--my husband used one and I used the other. The shower head in the master bathroom may need replacing because the flow was not ideal. The vertical blinds in the bedroom were slightly see-thru especially at night with the lights on in the bedroom. Anyone walking in the hallway could see distinct shadows, and if the overhead fan was on, the vertical blinds moved around so you could actually see in clearly. The owner was informed about this and apologized. She was not aware of this situation. We just made a point to dress in the bathroom with the door closed or dress in the dark at night. The kitchen was adequately supplied with all the equipment that we needed for our breakfast and lunch meals. Unfortunately, during our stay, the upstairs unit was under construction. When we were in our unit during the day, we heard lots of loud pounding and drilling. Though it was not the fault of VRBO or the property owners, it would have been nice to know ahead of time or maybe some sort of discount. We would not have chosen this unit if we had known about the construction ahead of time. The owner seemed very nice and welcoming in her communications.

A nice property and everything we were looking for! It was very close to beaches (across the street from K3), walking distance to restaurants and not more than a few minute drive to nearly anything you would want to do in Kihei. We will be back again!

I enjoyed the place it was home away from home. Everything you would need was there to make your stay comfortable. The only thing I had a problem with was the air conditioner in the living room is not big or powerful to cool the whole condo off. It is ok if it's cool out , but when it's in the 80's or above it makes it hard to cool off the place, but beside that everything else was good.

This unit was so perfect for our family. We truly appreciated all the extras the condo had to offer (beach equipment, fully stocked kitchen, etc). The a/c unit in the living room kept the place nice and cool. The grounds were great! We used the BBQ grills twice and loved that we were walking distance to the beach. We are looking forward to staying here again.
