This unit had everything we needed to enjoy our weeklong stay. The kitchen was well stocked with pans and appliances so cooking was so easy. The bed was so comfortable and we really appreciated the extras that were included like laundry detergent and the beach chairs and boogie boards. It was so nice having access to the pool for little ones and we just had an incredible time.

This place was great for 3 of us. Good size kitchen, beautiful views of the ocean each morning, clean comfortable sheets, easy walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Parking was a bonus!!! We’d happily stay here again.

From start to finish, everything about the unit exceeded my expectations, making our stay truly memorable. I would highly recommend Captain Cook to anyone visiting Waikiki. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the unit. It was evident that the hosts had put a lot of effort into ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for their guests. The apartment boasted a well-equipped living room where we spent many relaxing evenings. However, if I were to suggest one minor improvement, it would be the addition of an ottoman. Having a place to prop up our feet while lounging on the couch would have been the cherry on top of an already amazing experience. Nonetheless, this small suggestion did not take away from the overall enjoyment of our stay. The bedroom was cozy and inviting, featuring a comfortable KING size bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials we needed to prepare our own meals. The location of the Waikiki Banyan was fantastic, as it provided easy access to all the attractions and amenities in the area. We were able to explore Waikiki Beach, dine at nearby restaurants, and shop at the local markets with great convenience. The one important feature was that this unit included parking which saved us a lot of money in parking fees. Lastly, I cannot praise the Byron enough for his attentiveness and hospitality. He made sure to address any queries we had promptly and made sure he will always be available to assist us if needed. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend staying at the Waikiki Banyan through Captain Cook Resorts Rental. The unit was perfect. Should we have the opportunity to visit Waikiki again, we would undoubtedly choose this unit again. Thank you for making our stay feel like home!

This is our second time staying at one of the Captain Cook properties at Waikiki Banyan, and we're still very happy with our choice. Management was very reachable when we had questions, and they provided clear instructions on everything from operating the door lock to checking out. That type of support really helped us relax and enjoy our stay. As for the Waikiki Banyan, 2 things stand out: a kitchen and easy parking! Though we loved patronizing local eateries, we also enjoyed having a full-sized refrigerator and ample counter space for some snacks and groceries for days when we didn't have time to stop for breakfast. No matter where you end up staying, the views are gorgeous. You either get the beach, the sky or Diamond Head--all beautiful! The only small bummer was the fact that there's no dedicated service elevator--which means some waiting.We highly recommend any of the Waikiki Banyan spaces managed by Captain Cook Real Estate.

We had a lovely time in Waikiki at this unit.
The photos are accurate and the unit was very clean. It was nice to have a kitchen as well as beach chairs, etc on the balcony. I really liked having the coffee shop in the building, as well as the koi pond in the lobby.
There was just a small blip with check in. The electronic lock is a bit tricky and unintuitive. In addition, we were given the wrong code and didn’t realize it until we got back from dinner late the first night. Some of that’s on us for not testing before we left the unit. We were just really hungry.
But overall, everything went well and I would use Captain Cook resorts again via Vrbo.

Unit is nicely upgraded and spacious and is good for a family. great view over the pool which is on a quiet deck Towels were plenty. WE have used Captain Cook many times before and I want to comment on kitchen amenities which is why one often rents a condo with kitchen instead of a hotel room.In order to make a condo stay more convenient especially where one is doing any kind of cooking for a family - some items should be addressed. I would just say the kitchen needs an upgrade. especially if one is doing any amount of cooking. - The unit needs a tea kettle, it had only 3 wine glasses , and other glassware is also no sets of 4 and kind of mismatched.There are NO tablespoons to eat cereal or soup, an extra set of dish towels and cloths would be helpful as there were only 1 cloth and 2 drying towels. Microwave needs a cover to put over heating food. a spatula to scrape food out of pots would be lovely. There is only one pot holder glove - even a few pot holders would be helpful to remove hot microwaved food. The pots are stick free but have a Lot of scratches - they have been well used. Also a lamp would be helpful in the livingroom to be able to sit and read at the couch at night!Perhaps these items should all be looked at as it seems no one has done any review of what is actually in the kitchen

The rental process and check-in were very smooth, and the property manager took great care to communicate with us about the steps to complete as we arrived to ensure we didn't have any difficulty with parking or access. They also promptly answered any questions we had, but we didn't have many since everything was well-organized and orderly, with a number of conveniences provided. The clean, crisp decor felt welcoming but enables you to focus on the amazing view of the ocean and of Diamond Head from the balcony. We were within walking distance of so many places, but also had the peace of mind of guaranteed parking access that always had spots available. The pool deck was a hit with the kids, as were the boogie boards and beach chairs on the balcony that we were able to use for the beach! I would heartily recommend this company and this location, as we had a very positive experience and a very pleasant trip, in large part due to having such a comfortable and inviting place to come back to every day!

This is at least the 3rd time that I have stayed at this unit in the Waikiki Banyan. The pics show you pretty much what it looks like. The condo building is over 40 years old but well maintained. The only fault I would say about this unit (which is minor) is that the bathroom could be refreshed. Otherwise it is great. Only a block to the beach and convenient for public buses so no need to have a car here, though parking is included with the unit. Compared to surrounding hotels the unit is competitively priced and good value. Pool is great with lots of sun throughout the day, and lots of space so you are not on top of other guests like at many of the big hotels. Our property agent Byron was great. He was quick to answer any questions we had. Captain Cook rental agency is always great to work with and the transaction was straight forward. Their phone app is a great asset that we used throughout our trip. Also appreciate the free calls from the unit to North America. We were here for 3 weeks and having the space and kitchen really makes it comfortable for that length of stay. We'll be booking again for next year.

Great location, just a block away from the beach. Close to everything -shopping, restaurants, bus stops, beach, tours. The room is perfectly clean. Towels are new. (We love it!!!) Bed sheets and pillow cases are clean. They provide boogie boards, sand toys, umbrellas, and beach chairs. The kitchen is clean. They have pots and pans in case you need to cook. Our kids love the playground, pool and hot tub. Checking in was easy. We really enjoy staying here. Perfect for a small family.
The only thing that was tricky was the elevator when we checked out around 10-11 am, It was a really long wait. I guess people check out or leave the room at the same time. So plan extra time if you need to leave around that time.
Otherwise, we really enjoy it here. definitely recommended

My husband, son (3 years old) and I loved staying at this property.. the locations is great (2 blocks away from the beach) PARKING INCLUDED is definitely a PLUS! It looks just like the pictures! The property manager is vey nice and the check in-out process was easy.. it’s quiet and clean.. just a short walk to Waikiki beach and shops.. we truly enjoyed our stay on this property.. we will definitely comeback! Perfect for a small family or a couple.

This place was so efficiently planned out and clean. A/c was a cold and welcomed suprise each day after a short walk home from the beach. Views a beautiful. You can actually see the ocean in 2 different directions. The lobby of the complex if breezy and beuatiful. It was great except for 1 minor detail and 1 major one. Minor a screw fell from the bathroom door. The bathroom door latch wasn’t working right. The sliding door malfunctioned. On the plus side, it’s good that you have extra stuff like air bed which we did not use, ironing board, clothes pins, vacuum, laundry soap and trash bags. But your coffee doesn’t taste good. U could have provided something better. There are so many good HIan brands
